Apollo.io is a one stop solution for our business, from getting the Data of the target audience to setting up the campaigns to generate Leads, it made our task very easy and Effective Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Should have some filters for the companies for the Bifurcation on the basis of revenue, Nature of business, Year of Incorporation could make the app more effective to reach to the actual audience Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Apollo for a while now, and it has been super helpful for my sales team. The platform makes it easy for us to find leads with a variety of filters, helping us narrow down our target audience effectively. The email tracking feature is amazing too—it lets me see who is opening my emails, which helps us follow up at the right time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Apollo.io is the best tool overall, there is one thing that needs improvement: sometimes the lead search results don't always provide accurate results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the AI features that it holds which help to draft an email in a better way. The email tracking feature of Apollo is also something which I find very useful. Through that I get to know whom I can push to convert into a prospect. I think Apollo is a mate for SDRs that take one step closer to turning a lead into a prospect. I think while making a sequence through AI assisted mode, there should be option to add more steps which is currently not there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have gained experience working with various sales intelligence tools in my career. I started using Apollo.io early in 2024. It helped me get more qualified leads. Apollo.io has been a bigger help than the other systems.
The previous company we did business with allowed me to compare the digital ad spending of other businesses. I could compare up to three competitors of my customers and see what they bought and how much they spent. That allowed me to open up a conversation. Some customers were excited to see that information. Others were not that excited. Most never spent any money even though I was able to show them that I could help them to become more competitive.
Our company connected Apollo.io to our CRM. That has allowed my leads to get placed into our system. Then I can create a sequence. What is a sequence? I can pick a customer and send them a series of emails. The emails get slowly trickled out. Each email is scripted and personalized with the person's first name. Each email has a call-to-action and a heavy discount trial offer. The system sends 3 emails. I make 3 phone calls after each email is sent. That allows me enough contacts to hopefully start a few phone conversations each week leading to claiming them as a prospect.
This system helps me get verified email addresses to the right people in the company. No more wasting time speaking to a gatekeeper who takes a message and says they will pass it along with no return phone calls. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find it easier to work in the Persona space of Apollo.io. Trying to do single Company name searches is a little trickier for me. Maybe there is an easier way to do that I just have not been able to figure that out yet. Many of those searches took too much time and I am looking for speed in finding bigger lists with verified emails.
Still, I am able to get what I need to do my job effectively. That's all that matters. It's better than what we had before. I cannot say that I am getting lots of return responses. I am hearing from some customers who come back with some questions. That lets me know it's working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apollo has been real helpful for our sales process. It gives me and my team all the outreach tools we need for our day to day. I have used the software in my last jobs and knew this would be a great option. After careful consideration and comparison with other similar tools we decided it was the easiest to learn and use. I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far it has been very good. Like with every other tool some times there needs to be a double check for the info provided but for the most it provides the up to date info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

How you can get emails of your prospectives , AB testing if you are getting a low response rate and the ai feature to help you draft, and personalize emails Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's amazing overall, it just took me a while learn it, which can be a barrier of entry for other people who might be considering it as their first CRM Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We love that we get so much access to people and their contact information. Our scope is very wide and so is the content. We have been able to reach more customers quickly than we could have before. We are able to find companies in our local area and our larger area of the state - which is really nice. We find the value add of this beneficial just for the contact information alone. We're able to get to the person we are trying to get too much quicker now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I currently have with Apollo is the intent data. As we use to get the data from ZoomInfo which was a live database about the needs and searches of customers - we don't have that here at apollo and I wish we did. The only other thing I think I would say is I do get email bounces, it's relatively low, but I thought they were verified so I was surprised in certain categories we target that so many bounced. My favourite feature is web tracking, although this could do with refreshing data more quickly. It's a new feature though and so I suspect it will only get better with time. The ability to track, enrich and then sequence outreach to website visitors is extremely valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not anything in particular. As mentioned, the web tracking can be a little slow to refresh, but I suspect this is because it's new and a feature still being developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Excellent for sourcing prospect lists for outbound
- Sequences set up is fantastic and probably the best i've seen so far, as is the reporting and data collection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Not so much a dislike, but something I would want more of is even better segmentation of groups e.g., if I am looking for certain prospects in the finance world, many of the categories are too broad to be meaningful e.g., difficult to find lists of those in hedge funds without also finding those in private equity
- While reporting layout and offering is fantastic, i'm unconvinced by the data collection and would appreciate something that flags when certain engagement metrics are automated vs actual humans doing it.
For example, if I run an outbound campaign and see 'X' person made lots of clicks on an email, I interpret that as they found that email engaging and interacted with it alot, when in reality all of those clicks came in the same minute that the email was sent, meaning that it was almost certainly done by an automated system/security system. Apollo.io is an excellent tool for outbound sales and lead generation. It offers a seamless experience, making it easy to implement and use right away. The interface is intuitive, and the platform integrates well with HubSpot and Gmail, allowing for smooth data transfers and outreach automation.
Apollo's lead filtering options, automation workflows, and sequencing tools make outreach highly efficient. It can act as a full repository for leads, with the ability to add new ones directly from LinkedIn and websites. The database of companies and contacts is extensive, which makes finding and reaching out to prospects easier. AI-powered enrichment columns, while still basic, have a lot of potential if further developed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managing the outreach process end-to-end within Apollo has some limitations. Tracking the current status of outreach efforts at both the account and contact level is not as straightforward as in a CRM, even though Apollo is slowly adding more CRM-like features. Email tracking is useful but can negatively impact deliverability, which is something to be mindful of. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
