What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Previous Response: Zapier integration and perfect search filters, plus good options such as save searches and match criteria notifications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Previous Response: My recent interaction with Apollo left me disheartened. As a paying customer, I discovered that the pricing plan I had subscribed to was now offering more perks at a slightly higher cost. When I approached their support team to upgrade my plan, they declined, citing a rigid policy that tied pricing to the specific terms at the time of subscription. This inflexibility, especially for loyal customers, felt unfair and inconvenient. I believe Apollo should reconsider its pricing policies to provide a more equitable and customer-friendly experience. Response from Andy McCotter-Bicknell of Apollo.io

Thanks for the candid feedback, Farhad.

After seeing your review, our VP of Support reached out directly via LinkedIn because the email we have on file does not show any recent support interactions, which makes us think there may be a different email associated with your account. We also want to clarify that we do have ways to upgrade accounts mid-billing cycle, so what you described is not the experience we want customers to have.

We’d appreciate the chance to look into this properly and make it right. If you’re open to it, please reply to our outreach with the email tied to your Apollo account so we can review the interaction in full.

"Apollo.io’s Powerful Lead Database and Filters Save Time on Outreach"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I use Apollo.io to find potential leads and company information for outreach activities. What I like most is the large contact database and the ability to filter prospects based on job title, industry, company size, and location. It helps save time when searching for relevant contacts and organizing outreach efforts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Some contact information may occasionally be outdated, and certain advanced features are available only in higher-tier plans. Apart from that, the platform is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Top-Tier Lead Enrichment, Minor Integration Hurdles"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I use Apollo.io for lead enrichment, and it's been great for our sales team. The platform is like the Rolls Royce of lead enrichment platforms, offering valuable features such as the ability to find contacts of targeted leads, send and schedule emails, and even hold meetings within Apollo itself. I love how it integrates seamlessly with the CRMs we use, like Salesforce and HubSpot, enhancing our workflow. Setting up Apollo.io was also very simple, especially when using the free version, allowing us to connect it easily with our work email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

So what could be improved is to try to make it more simple in terms of some of the complex integrations that are required. Yeah. So when you are integrating emails, you know, to get through the process of deliverability and all that, it's a bit complex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"From Manual Outreach to Scalable Pipeline"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I like having the option to use a Google Chrome plugin that syncs with my web or LinkedIn searches. Combined with its solid database, this makes Apollo a powerful solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The user interface can be a bit confusing at times, especially when I’m viewing a company and its employees. I often have to double-check the database carefully to make sure I’m pulling up the correct information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Large database with Impressive Filters"
4/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I like Apollo.io the most because they have a wide database of people. I also like the filters available in the app that help me narrow down my search. It's particularly valuable because if I want to find contacts at a specific branch, like the Dubai branch of Pizza Hut, I can filter by location and find relevant contacts easily. I appreciate that they're giving more credits to students who actually need it, which is nice since I sign in with my student account. The initial setup was also very easy; I just had to sign up with my email ID and verify it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The credit issue is a problem. Of course, I use a free account, so I get limited credits. But I have to say, signing in with my student account gave me a lot more credits than using my personal email ID, which I like because they're giving more credits to students who actually need it. "Essential for Supplier Sourcing, Room for More Industry-Specific Data"
3.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I really appreciate Apollo.io's industry classification and precise filtering functions, as they are absolutely top-notch. The platform allows us to easily filter suppliers by product type, annual production capacity, service area, and main trading scope, saving our team a great deal of preliminary screening time. I admire the super high accuracy of contact data—it provides valid and real phone numbers and business emails of senior decision-makers, boosting our business efficiency. The neat and logical operating interface is another plus, making it easy for my team to get the hang of basic searching, screening, and data exporting without needing extra training. I also favor the powerful batch search and one-click data export feature, which is super convenient for arranging follow-up communication and sending procurement demands. Additionally, the real-time enterprise basic information display is very helpful, allowing us to judge a company's comprehensive strength and cooperation reliability in advance. All these factors make Apollo.io an indispensable daily tool for our whole supply chain team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The depth of industry-specific mining and metal-related data is still not enough to meet our professional demands. It lacks more refined professional labels that we actually need, like ore grade standards and metal smelting process types. As a result, we cannot directly filter suppliers according to core production strength and product quality standards, which means we still have to spend extra time doing manual background verification one by one after finding leads. This slows down our supplier screening progress a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Automate Prospect Enrichment, But Filters Can Be Improved"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

What I like the most is the ability to create sequences that are directly integrated with leads that I put into lists. Apollo.io greatly facilitates touch points in an automated way, saving me the effort of manually following up by integrating them directly from the lists. These features together make Apollo.io a good tool for closing deals quickly and easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

The most complicated thing that doesn't work so well for me is the search filters issue. It seems to me that, especially in Spanish, they are too broad, because corporate positions are often not as specific as they are in English. Additionally, the initial setup was complicated, as it requires configuring many parameters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortlessly Builds Targeted Prospect Lists"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I like Apollo.io for its ease of use, which makes it simple to pick up and train new members of our team quickly. I also appreciate the vast number of records available, allowing us to target more people effectively. The tool enables us to build data lists using just a few parameters and capture additional information like contact numbers. Additionally, the setup process was very easy, contributing to its overall user-friendliness. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Some more intuitive filters or having a priority setting when exporting mass lists would be good. For example, when pulling a large list and only selecting 3 contacts per company, having a way where we can prioritize people with certain job titles would be very beneficial. "Apollo.io: Essential for Effective Prospecting"
5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

I find Apollo.io very easy to use and incredibly beneficial for my pre-call research. When I make a phone call and find that the provided number is wrong or disconnected, I can simply go to Apollo.io, put in the name of the contact or company, and it lists a directory of employees with their contact information. This allows me to cross reference and get new phone numbers and good emails, making it easier to make that initial contact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

Well, sometimes there's not enough contacts on there for that company just because I know that people are constantly changing jobs and roles. So at this point, just staying relevant and up to date is a challenge in this job market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Clean, Fast, and Easy to Use—with Great Integrations and Responsive Support"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Apollo.io?

Very clean UI that’s easy to navigate, and the filters are straightforward to use. It supports integrations with Sales Navigator and CRM tools. I also love the quick results and the performance of their extension. Pricing feels reasonable, and the support team is responsive as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Apollo.io?

It doesn’t integrate with Gong or other outreach tools, which makes it tricky to use when I need to build and run quick sequences. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
