The best thing I like about visual studio code is that it is one of the best code editors available in the market and have almost every feature that a programmer need and have a variety of themes available and font can also be changed. It has a lot of features, has variety of available extensions which are available for every programming language and it is not limited to that even it has code runner extension too which help you run your code in the software itself, even there is terminal provided where you can see the result of your code.

The software is a type of package in itself to write ,edit, format ,design code and do programming ,even it is very easy to use as a beginner.

the software even is providing ai to help and assist you while writing the code.

Ich mag Visual Studio als Softwareentwickler. Besonders den Git- und den Plugin-Bereich. Sie bieten verschiedene Git-Bereiche und zeigen Dateiänderungen an. Ich benutze viele IDEs, aber der Git-Bereich ist in Visual Studio erstaunlich und benutzerfreundlich. Für den Plugin-Bereich ist es wichtig, dass man einfach ein beliebiges Plugin installiert und dessen Funktionalität für jede Programmiersprache genießt. Visual Studio Code ist in erster Linie kostenlos. Das ist ein großer Vorteil gegenüber den Alternativen. Im Grunde ist es ein sehr einfacher Texteditor, aber mit den richtigen Plugins kann es zu einer leistungsstarken Entwicklungsumgebung werden. Ich benutze VSCode sowohl für die Javascript/Typescript-Entwicklung als auch für die Python-Entwicklung. Der Basiseditor ist einfach zu bedienen und zu verstehen und sehr leichtgewichtig.

Es basiert auf Electron, läuft auf allen großen Betriebssystemen und unterstützt eine reine Webversion. Persönlich benutze ich VSCode auf einem Mac mit Apple Silicon und die Leistung ist ziemlich gut, angesichts der Tatsache, dass es komplett auf Electron basiert. Besonders gefällt mir die Erweiterbarkeit und selbst für sehr grundlegende Bedürfnisse benutze ich viele Plugins (Git, Docker, JS Debugger, etc.). Ein Hauptvorteil meiner Meinung nach ist die Startgeschwindigkeit: Vom Klick bis zur vollständigen Bereitstellung dauert es 8 Sekunden auf meinem Rechner, was vielleicht wie eine lange Zeit erscheinen mag, aber im Vergleich zu anderen Systemen ist es viel schneller. Nachdem ich mit anderen IDEs gearbeitet habe, bin ich nicht begeistert von den Standard-Tastenkombinationen und Erweiterungskurzbefehlen. Ich empfinde auch, dass die Lernkurve für VSCode steiler ist als bei anderen Werkzeugen.

Darüber hinaus, und am wichtigsten, habe ich das Gefühl, dass es nicht genug Kontrolle von Microsoft über die im Erweiterungs-Repository veröffentlichten Erweiterungen gibt, und es gab einige frühere Fälle, in denen bösartige Erweiterungen gefunden wurden. Aber wenn man das im Hinterkopf behält und einen sorgfältigen Ablauf einhält, sollte es in Ordnung sein.

Ein wichtigerer Nachteil, meiner Meinung nach, ist die Notwendigkeit, "sein eigenes Paket zu erstellen", bei dem man manuell aus Hunderten von verfügbaren Plug-ins auswählen muss, was verwirrend und zeitaufwendig sein kann.
