tripActions is excellent because it allows you to use your company's discounts and rewards to book your travel. This makes it a perfect choice for those who want to get the most bang for their buck when booking a vacation. Additionally, the search engine is very user-friendly, making it easy to find precisely what you're looking for without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside to TripActions is that you can't save your search preferences, meaning you must enter them every time. It would be convenient if TripActions could remember your favorite airline and hotel, so they appear at the top of search results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That you can book your own travel for Buisness instead of relying on an agent to choose the appropriate plan and hotels for your needs . And the reward programs is also a nice feature Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
That for rental car bookings it does not allow you to charge corporate cards direct so it requires you to provide your own card for rental car bookings for payment and security deposits , along with hotel reservations if you do not choose the hotels.com or Expedia pay in advance option which does not allow you get accumulate travel rewards it requires you to present a card at check in for payment and security deposit , it does not allow you to book the corporate card direct since Navan is a third party , if you do use the pay in advance option a separate card is still required for incidentals so for Buisness travel it is very clunky and does not incentivize people to travel more for work having to put their own cards down and they get reimbursed later . The UX using the app was amazing, uploading expenses is really simple and it guides you all the way through the process. I really never got lost using the app even as a newbie. The easiness for booking flights and hotels is SO good and it let you know the budget and how much you will pay for extras if you want and it even has the ability to extend the trip for personal travel there in the app!
The Navan Card for employees is a lifesaver and it provides a great experience when using it.
The flights updates and status is AMAZING. It always provides gates, terminals and status updated while having the reservations codes at hand for both hotel and flights. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing tbh, I used for a week company training and it was the best experience I ever had for company reimbursements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Navan makes travel booking and management of expenses simple and very efficient. The interface is easy to use and the experience is smooth. Company approved pricing policies are visible so you can maintain compliance easily as a user.
The fact that you can manage expenses by simply downloading or taking a photo of your receipts makes the overall experience even easier.
I also love the reward system, you can use it for both personal and professional trips. I recommend this app! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't encountered any problems yet, the experience is easy and smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is very easy to use in order to submit expenses to our accounting team. It's also easy to tag purchases, upload receipts, etc. in order to do this in less than a minute while you're making a purchase vs having to remember later, keep the receipt, submit online. Having used literal tape to a piece of paper and scan via printer and upload to a folder methods at past companies, Navan's app makes this process that no one actually enjoys, very easy. The travel side of Navan can be a little bit bumpy for the end user experience. I normally use the online version to make reservations for flight and hotel but the online experience is much easier than the alternative of doing this process manually so it's not the end of the world. Navan is incredibly simple to use! Whether I’m on my phone (where the app is super intuitive) or out with friends, I can easily update my expenses—even if someone Slacks me a receipt. The process is seamless: just snap a photo, submit, confirm, and you’re done. I’ve had no issues with receipts not being recognized, making the whole experience hassle-free. Expense reporting has never been easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only potential recommendation I'd consider suggesting is a monthly reminder email or notification about submitting. If I have a planned trip in Navan, follow up three days later or something and remind me to submit expenses if I haven't done so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how everything is in one place, ifI need to book a flight and a hotel its all on one site. The great thing I like is that I can book with Navan and still earn rewards points and miles with the airlines and hotel brands I usually book with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I've had a great experience. One issue I did have on my last trip was that my hotel charged my personal credit card rather than the virtual company card that I used to book on the Navan site; this could have been an oversight from the hotel but that has been my only complaint if I had to give one. I appreciate that I'm able to book all travel and accommodations through Navan, as well as submit travel-related expenses. The app makes it super easy to do this on the go, so I'm not saving and submitting receipts through a spreadsheet expense report when I return home from a trip. It's also easy to use Navan for non-trip-related expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful if we could say internally which hotels are preferred for trips, or which people should avoid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about Navan is the ease of use. Most things are very clear and the workflow to getting things done is extremely streamlined and self-explanatory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is the rewards system. It is unclear whether or not you can qualify to get gift cards. I understand that the company has two tiers, but if an account does not qualify for it, there are a lot of things around the UI that says that you can get gift cards. However, in our case, we cannot and that is not clear anywhere in the account. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Navan makes scheduling and reporting on business travel so easy! I love that anything I schedule quickly integrates with other platforms like airlines and hotels, there is no time wasted searching for information. Uploading receipts from travel is also incredibly easy to do, I don't have to hunt for the info to provide for my company. The user interface is clean and modern, not cluttered with popups like other business travel/expenses platforms I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't yet found anything I dislike, Navan is truly a night and day difference from platforms I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had terrible experiences with travel bookings at all my past companies before Navan. Navan's app is way better than most common travel apps and the experience is tailored to the company (eg. They have your office address etc and policies). The virtual credit card is a very useful feature because not all hotels accept the cashless check in experience. Lastly, Navan recognises that people would like to sometimes take a few personal days during a business trip so the app allows you to extend hotel stay at your own expense. So far it seems like it's a closed ecosystem. I.e I need to use Navan to book a personal trip if I want to use the loyalty points from the business trips. I can't use Navan rewards on any other platform where I usually book my personal trips (such as Expedia) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
