I really like this aspect of Navan (Formerly TripActions) that I don't need to spend my own money. Whenever I book a flight, my manager is automatically notified and they approve it. This means I don't need to do anything.

Sometimes I have trouble booking my favorite hotel because they are not available. Additionally, sometimes the app becomes slow and the response time of customer service is also slow.

Booking a trip is quite simple, that's pretty much it on the positive ...

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

Trips tend to be significantly more expensive on this platform compared to others, and booking plane tickets is particularly cumbersome.

Customizing your trip as you want is difficult, and often you have to contact the airline directly to make changes.

Tax information isn't automated either; you have to manually edit each expense, even though the necessary data could easily be extracted from the receipt. This results in much more work than with other platforms.

I regularly receive receipts in my email that I would like to forward to Navan for automatic expense assignment, but unfortunately, this feature is not available.

Additionally, the manager interface is very confusing and difficult to navigate, making it unclear what is required when reviewing expenses.

Given all these issues, I would not recommend this tool in its current form.

I like that everything for travel and expense is in one place. Booking flights, hotels, and then submitting the receipts is really simple. The app is clean and I don’t have to chase emails or spreadsheets. It saves time and makes the whole process less stressful.

The search results for flights or hotels can sometimes feel limited or the pricing looks a bit higher than what I see on other sites. Also a few times the app felt slow when loading trips. Nothing deal-breaking, just small annoyances.

It makes business travel way easier. Before we had to book flights on one site, hotels on another, then keep all receipts and fill expense forms later. I need the Navan receipts to be able to import into my expense account. Need to be able to put my receipts into Concur and just import it from Navan to Concur. Can't do that right now.

When reserving hotels, the top choices are typically requiring AAA membership, which I do not have. I do not have that in my profile, so irritating that it suggests these. I have to look at each, often scrolling past the first few to find options that are actually available to me. This implies to me that Navan has an in with AAA behind the scenes and is pushing for new memberships, which the company will not cover. Don't know if that is the case or not, but I don't like it.
Doesn't seem like invoices are automatically transferred into Concur, though that may not be a Navan issue, but sure was nice.

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The helpful customer support and points of contact (for business accounts) have been fantastic. They are receptive to feedback and do their best to keep the platform updated with new features. Implementation was incredibly easy and we were able to get Navan set up and in use within a month, allowing for a smooth transition from our old system to Navan. Once we had people using the new system, they have found it easier to submit their transactions frequently and be reimbursed more often than the previous system. Navan has been much easier to use than the prior systems, leading to more employees understanding the reimbursements they're eligible for.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

The new structure can be hard to get people up to date on, as it is a huge shift in expense processing. While I don't think the shift itself is bad, it can be hard to get people who are used to traditional expense reports on board and understanding of the new features. Adding connections from our existing systems has been a bit difficult as there isn't integration between what we use and what connections are available currently.

**What problems is Navan (Formerly TripActions) solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Navan has had a massive improvement in visibility for leadership and has provided much better controls than we had in previous systems. The dashboards are providing cumulated data insight that other systems had locked behind paywalls.

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I absolutely love the intuitive and easy setup of Navan, which made it incredibly easy to get started and go into action right away. It is very self-explanatory, which really helped in ensuring a smooth initial experience. The way it interfaces with SAP Concur is another aspect I appreciate, as it allows for automatic expensing of trips almost immediately without any human interaction, saving a lot of effort. The capability of Navan to ensure that my team adheres to our travel policies and helps control travel expenses for a large group is invaluable. I find the website and cell phone app to be the best in the business; I haven't seen anything better. Their seamless performance further elevates my experience, allowing me to manage and control travel expenses effectively.

**What do you dislike about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find that the customer support sometimes seems a little unfamiliar with business travel or the complications in international travel bookings.

I use Navan to ensure compliance with travel policies and control travel expenses efficiently. Its integration with SAP allows for automatic expense processing, reducing manual intervention and enhancing my ability to manage my team's travel effectively.

I appreciate that Navan simplifies my travel management by allowing me to set up both professional and personal profiles, which enhances my flexibility and convenience. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy to search for hotels and flights, and effortlessly add them to my business profile. I particularly enjoy the incentive structure; it not only shows rates across air and travel but prominently highlights Navan preferred rates, which come with additional incentivizations. This feature allows me to earn points for personal use when leveraging the platform for business, effectively benefiting both my work and personal travel requirements. Additionally, the setup process was extremely straightforward, especially with the use of a QR code, ensuring a smooth start to using the platform. Overall, Navan's ease of use and separation between personal and business profiles make it a regular go-to for all my travel planning needs.

I dislike the limited access (mobile only) and would appreciate a desktop option, as opposed to only having access through the mobile app.

**What do you like best about Navan (Formerly TripActions)?**

I find Navan (Formerly TripActions) incredibly easy to set up, making the initial onboarding process smooth and hassle-free. The ability to quickly snap pictures of receipts and get reimbursed fast is a tremendous benefit, especially since it syncs seamlessly with the company's credit card transactions. This feature significantly enhances my efficiency by simplifying the expense reporting process to just taking a picture and pressing upload. Booking flights and hotels that are already approved by my company through Navan only adds to the convenience, ensuring compliance with corporate policies without added administrative work. Overall, my experience has been very positive, and I would definitely use Navan again if I ever needed to submit expenses at a future company. The high recommendation score of 10 out of 10 reflects my satisfaction and readiness to recommend it to others.

I really like using Navan for my professional work travel as it makes planning so much easier. The setup was really simple, allowing me to get started without any hassle. One of the features I appreciate the most is the calendar sync, which seamlessly integrates with my schedule and ensures that everything is well-coordinated. I also enjoy the flexibility of being able to use either the app or the website depending on what's more convenient for me at the moment. Additionally, Navan’s ability to sync with my United and Marriott loyalty accounts is a significant benefit, offering me all necessary integrations in one place. The service supports my experience by rewarding me with personal incentives like Amazon gift cards, which I find to be an excellent bonus for using the platform. The council to accrue more personal rewards for work travel is certainly appealing and enhances its value for me. Overall, these features and benefits make my travel management more efficient and rewarding.

I would like to be able to change my flight twenty-four hours ahead instead of having to go directly through the airline. Additionally, I would like the service to be even faster because it can sometimes be slow.
