I like that I can see all my overdue tasks and stay on top of my work. My team has rather complicated processes that I know I would forget pieces if I did not have Wrike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish my task list would show any overdue tasks, even if they are subtasks, without clicking into them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Wrike Approvals Process is the best in the industry. We were able to review and approve files seamlessly throughout the Work-From-Home years. We looked at several other project management systems and nothing compared. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a real danger of overdesigning in Wrike because it is so robust. Keep it simple to start and build as you learn. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We like the ability to assign projects and tasks to multiple individuals and make changes and updates as projects progress and develop. Wrike makes it easy to update statuses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wrike requires a fair amount of administration to keep all projects moving smoothly. It definitely helps to have a dedicated person in the role of Wrike administrator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how Wrike keeps updating its software and adding new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When Wrike is working slow or not at all, it slows down my whole companies workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Task management is excellent. We are using a workflow plugin which works best to see teams' occupancy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Reports can be better. The desktop report should have more categories/filters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall, I'm a big fan of this particular product. It has made it much easier for us to organize, arrange, and allocate projects to our team, and it has really aided our efforts to become more organized in the process. Lists are a wonderful touch, and the layout is clean and easy. To create a task, just select the appropriate recipient (either yourself or someone else), provide the necessary details (such as dates and priority), attach files and links, format text in your task description, and organize tasks into folders. Another feature that I appreciate is the ability to assign the same work to several categories. For example, if a task is applicable to two separate categories, it may be assigned to both categories. You may even set up some activities to have their deadlines coincide with the deadlines of other tasks, which is really convenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Several elements that would make this a fantastic product have been left out, and whenever I've called support, they've just tried to upsell us to a different level plan that hasn't resolved our current issue at all. What's amusing about this is that it will happily remind you when someone has given a job to you... but it will not notify you if you assign a task to someone and they mark it completed. It will wait until all of the subtasks have been completed before informing you that the task has been completed after a specified amount of time. This has never, ever been of assistance to me in any way.. There's also a quirky set up when it comes to grouping similar activities beneath other chores, so you'll have to experiment with different configurations until you find one that works. They also offer a desktop application that they automatically urge you to use when you click links to Wrike in other places, such as your email. In fact, it was simply another item I had to have open that didn't assist me with my programs, and it doesn't appear to have an option to prevent you from seeing that message every time you click on a Wrike link. I love being able to upload media files easily and set up approvals and customize workflow statuses for services. The request forms are also such a great tool! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took a while to get everything organized and setup the way that we want it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wrike is great for storing data and collaboration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wrike lacks any real transparency as a team and requires a little too much manual viewing of individual products. I shouldn't have to generate a report to see high-level overviews of projects. And if this does exist its a little buried. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Collaboration with colleagues, but this is not unique to Wrike. This is the industry standard for PM tools in 2022. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unfortunately, I dislike nearly everything about the Wrike platform. Sorry, I wish I had nicer things to say. The desktop interface is SLOW and clunky. It takes HOURS to update and edit items with a project. You cannot easily integrate with any other platform (namely Excel). You cannot easily copy/paste anything. The Gannt chart is useless. It doesn't offer any helpful information based on the activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
