I've been using Wrike for a while now, and overall, it's a powerful but somewhat overwhelming project management tool. It has all the features you could possibly need—task tracking, Gantt charts, automation, real-time collaboration—but sometimes, it feels like there’s almost too much going on. What I Don’t Like:
Takes time to learn – The interface isn't the most intuitive, and new users might feel lost at first.
Sometimes feels cluttered – With so many features, the UI can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for simple projects. can feel a bit overwhelming, especially for simple projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Automations within tasks and projects are amazing. We have set up automations so that when a date is entered into a cusom field, an entirely new task is created for a different department to complete. The task stays within the project, but also displays in the other team's work queue. Both teams can monitor the progress of the task and project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limitations on the amount of data that can be entered into the Data Hub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At Molex, Wrike serves as our primary tool for managing our Strategic Marketing PMO efforts. We utilize it as one platform to record, organize, and track all projects. We love the use of submission forms and workflows. They allow us to capture project request details and integrate them effortlessly into our plans, minimizing unnecessary back-and-forth communication.
Wrike’s blueprints are a game changer! Blueprints have standardized our project initiation, promoting consistency and efficiency across all global teams. All teams understand that work, communication and approvals must be tracked in Wrike. Most recently, we created an onboarding blueprint for our vendors and internal hires. This has saved us a ton of time and it quickly brings new team members up to speed with clear Wrike training expectations and timelines.
Our teams and management also enjoy Wrike's dashboards and real-time reporting. These allow for constant transparency into project statuses and team performance.
Their most recent release of dynamic dates with automations will be an immense time saver as we move to a more Agile work approach. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Difficulties with SharePoint folder creation integration. However, this is a minimal inconvenience considering we can create a recipe using their Workato integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customizable and flexible for each user! Wrike is easy to set up, doesn't require developer hours, has top tier customer support, and a great community of users! It is an easy tool to use every day to keep projects moving forward and your daily to do list in check! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It costs extra for analyze, integrate, and more rows in Datahub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wrike has a great support team who will reach back out quickly to help with any issues. So far, I have had same day responses from the support team and they will walk me through to make sure I understand, which I appreciate. The online help page has been a great resource as well. The project teams have jumped right in and quickly adapted to the system and uses it consistently as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve is a bit of a challenge. There are many helpful features - it's just getting to the point of using them and testing that can be a bit time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We leverage so many of Wrike's features, it's tough to pick just the best. The automation engine is powerful and makes it easy to work smarter. I love the New Dashboards - I use them every day to clearly visualize my work and the work for my project teams. The customer support team is fast at responding to any bugs or issues, and we adore our customer success manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Wrike licensing isn't the most flexible - you have to purchase in packages of 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The feature I use a lot in Wrike is the List view, I prefer that over the table view as a PM because I am able to build out projects and sub tasks, and track time within those tasks, or even create a task within that project to do an overarching time tracking task. I also sometimes create resource projects where if I am working on multiple projects under a certain client we can track time within that resources bucket that gets distributed into the multiple projects which makes it really easy as a PM to track hours within the budgeted hours. I do not like the table view, I'm sure it's helpful for other team members but as a PM I do not like the way it looks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the time tracking, and Gantt charts, making it easy to plan and execute projects. The @mentions, real-time document editing, and built-in approvals are great to collaborate with external and internal partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform has many interesting features. Unfortunately all of these tools can overwhelm new users, especially those not used to this kind of software. Sometimes information about how the platform works is a bit confusing. The volume of email and in-app notifications can become overwhelming if not configured properly. I like the ease of use - it's easy to see comments, adjust statuses, and get an overall big picture of projects and where they stand. It's been a great tool both for internal processes and for collaboration with external partners. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The search functionality is not ideal. If you don't know the task by name, the search results often generate a lot of unrelated tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are constantly finding new ways to use Wrike. Once team members are introduced, they think of new use cases frequently.
The best thing about Wrike for my team is that it is infinitely tinkerable. If one solution doesn't work, we just rethink and reimplement. It's so easy!
The customer support is also fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the auto-follow feature on tasks can cause inbox spam. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
