**What do you like best about Wrike?**

Coming from a setup where we had very little structure, Wrike has truly been a game changer. It has transformed the way our team collaborates, plans, and executes projects. Before Wrike, keeping track of tasks and responsibilities felt chaotic—but now, everything is streamlined, organized, and clearly visible to everyone involved.

One of the biggest advantages for me personally is that I no longer need to rely on memory or scattered notes. Everything I need is documented in Wrike, which has made managing my workload significantly easier. I can plan ahead, track progress, and stay on top of deadlines with the help of automated email reminders for upcoming tasks.

It’s also a huge relief knowing that if I take leave, my colleagues can pick up right where I left off. The transparency Wrike provides means the entire team—and especially our boss—can see task developments in real time. This makes it easier for our manager to provide support when needed and for everyone to stay aligned on goals and priorities.

Another major benefit is how Wrike enables full team involvement in ongoing projects. We’re all on the same page, which has drastically improved communication and efficiency. Planning for the future is also much simpler now, as we can clearly see workloads and adjust accordingly.

Without all these features, my job would have been much harder, and honestly, I doubt I would’ve been able to complete the amount of work I have in the timeframe that I did.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

While I’ve had a really positive experience with Wrike overall, there are a few areas where I’ve faced some challenges.

To be clear, I’m far from a power user—I use Wrike primarily for its simplicity in documentation and project management, which suits my needs perfectly. That said, I know there are many features I’m not fully taking advantage of yet, and I do think with some extra time or training, I could get even more out of the platform.

The main difficulties I’ve had are:

Understanding the layout: At times, I find the navigation and structure a bit overwhelming. It can take me a while to find what I need, especially when switching between different views or folders.

Task tracking: With the number of tasks I now have (many with similar names that repeat every few months), it’s easy to lose track or accidentally focus on the wrong one.

Copying or duplicating work: This is one of the bigger pain points for me. When I try to duplicate a project or set of tasks, the dates carry over in a way that doesn’t quite suit the flexible nature of my work. Because I don’t complete the same tasks in the exact same order every time, I have to manually remove and reset the dates, which slows me down.

Despite these issues, none of them are deal-breakers. They’re more like areas where Wrike could improve or where I could improve how I use it. Overall, I’m still very happy with the product and what it’s helped me accomplish.

Wrike has solved several key challenges for our team. First and foremost, it provides a centralized workspace where the entire team—including external consultants—can collaborate effectively. Everything we need is in one place, reducing confusion and improving communication across the board.

It has also allowed us to document our processes, which is especially valuable when team members leave or transition. Previously, important steps in workflows were often lost with staff changes. Now, our knowledge and processes are preserved and easily accessible.

By clearly documenting workflows, Wrike has helped us become more efficient and consistent. It’s significantly reduced the time spent on busy work, allowing the team to focus on higher-impact tasks and future planning.

As a result, our team has become more collaborative, efficient, and reliable, with more time freed up to take on projects that drive long-term improvements. Wrike is not just a project management tool for us—it’s a foundation for how we work better, together.

**What do you like best about Wrike?**

I like the optionality of the platform that provides many different ways to find visuals of your timeline or series of tasks. I also like how collaborative the software is. There are a lot of different ways to set up a task and have it completed by multiple people. It helps me communicate internally with my team, ensuring tasks are completed by their deadlines. I can easily complete tasks set up by others, and simply tagging my name notifies others that it's done. The initial setup was nearly seamless, integrated well with our internal software, and we can easily log in through our Google accounts.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

I find it kind of restrictive where there's only a certain amount of list of options to define columns in different ways. I also would prefer that the option to integrate it with AI wasn't confined to Copilot.

Without a project management tool, it’s hard to see what’s running on time or falling behind. **What do you like best about Wrike?**

What I like best about Wrike is its ability to centralize multiple business processes in one platform. We use Wrike to raise and track requests, manage tasks, log timesheets, and handle approval workflows efficiently. It works well for IT tickets, HR tickets, leave approvals, and file management, which helps reduce email dependency and improves transparency. The approval flows and task tracking make it easy to monitor progress, accountability, and timelines across teams

One drawback of Wrike is that it can feel complex for new users. The number of features and configuration options means there is a learning curve, especially for users who only need basic task or ticket management. Some workflows and reports also require careful setup to get the best results. **What do you like best about Wrike?**

I appreciate how easy it is to set up a template for a repetitive request from cross-functional teams. It saves a lot of time and generates the necessary subtasks and workflows for each team.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

There's way too much customization in workflows. The ability for each team to create their own project workflow is not a benefit, it's a hinderance. It's easy to get lost in what workflows teams prefer to use. Also, the complete lack of adequate calendar or dashboard views is disappointing. There's no good way to see every active parent ticket and their associated status at once. The dashboard view is severely lacking. The initial setup was challenging at first, and many teams did not find Wrike intuitive.

I use Wrike for project management, helping my team collaborate on subtasks. It saves time by setting up templates for repetitive requests, generating necessary subtasks and workflows efficiently.

**What do you like best about Wrike?**

I am in love with Wrike's request forms mostly; we really have an amazing time dedicating time, structure, or structuring our ideas in a way that makes sense to simplify the intake of projects. I also like that Wrike is super flexible, allowing each team to organize their projects and ideas in their own way. It lets us work within spaces, folders, projects, tasks – you name it. With at least 10 different teams working actively in Wrike, we've been able to organize them effectively. I have been really enjoying the AI part lately, as it helps me find information quicker by tracking down meeting notes for specific projects. Lastly, I really enjoy the dashboards, which people often ask for help to create because they allow teams to see their own work and work submitted to other teams.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

One of the main things that people complain about is that it's super complex at the start. Since it's so flexible, I think it's a little bit hard to understand what's the right way of using it. It's not as user-friendly from the start. I would love to have more follow-up questions in the request forms because right now, we only have one follow-up question, which complicates things as it forces us to create a new page for more specific questions. I think the user experience in the mobile version is not amazing. There's room for improvement, although it's getting better. Also, I'd like the availability to select if it's going to be a regular user or a collaborator directly when I get a submission to add a new user from my mobile version. The request forms don't allow separating tasks from projects, leading us to decide after the submission whether something is a project or a task.

Wrike helps us organize all the work at the company and standardize processes. It creates visibility across teams and streamlines reporting and progress tracking, even with teams having specific needs using blueprints.

I like that Wrike is great for project planning, task tracking, and team collaboration. **What do you like best about Wrike?**

I really appreciate the ability to edit information in Wrike, whether it's from a copy perspective or leaving comments on a design. This is a crucial part for me and my content team. Another great feature is the ability to email folks who don't use Wrike so they can get everything they need, review and all of that good stuff in a timely manner. We don't have to do things outside an email and then import it; it's all done automatically.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

I do wish that they had a feature that you automatically mark things. I think some of the requirements for the fields could be better if we could have mandatory fields, like department fields. As well, some of the automations could be a little more well-rounded to serve our group.

Wrike keeps our management and projects in check, organizes timelines better than email, consolidates everything into one platform, and lets us review projects directly within the app.

The native cost rate tracking at the user level is something not many other PM tools have built in.

We left Wrike when they removed the list view — it's difficult to see high-level details within a project view now.

Wrike allows us to organize work for our team members in a way that facilitates collaboration and accountability. Information needed to complete deliverables is easily accessible to everyone on the team, and expectations are clearly outlined in order to complete work.

**What do you like best about Wrike?**

I really like the schedule view in Wrike because it's very easy to see and edit. I can easily change the time of projects, and add or remove items from this view, which helps me stay organized for the day and week. This feature allows me to plan and organize my schedule effectively, letting me know how long things are expected to take and making it easy to adjust plans as needed.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

There is a serious issue with sending PDFs on Wrike and how it displays work. PDFs made from creative platforms like Adobe Illustrator don't show correctly. For example, something with a gradient that fades to 0% opacity will show up way too strong. It also displays color and shape glitches, so viewing directly in Wrike is not a possibility. Downloading the work and viewing in a PDF viewer fixes this issue, at the cost of convenience. Also, loading these files to view in Wrike can be very slow. The initial setup of Wrike was very difficult and not very intuitive; it took many months of consistent use to learn, and there were plenty of teething problems.

Wrike solves my scheduling problems, giving me an overview of my day and keeping everything in one place. It allows anyone to pick up a project easily and see its progress.

**What do you like best about Wrike?**

I love using Wrike as a project management tool for my in-house creative marketing team. It has been a lifesaver for organizing tons of requests into clear tickets with timelines, briefs, and assigned resources. I also enjoy using the approval tool for reviewing assets. The timeline feature is my favorite. It's so easy to create timelines using predecessors and blueprint templates. I rely on a handful of blueprint templates that I created, and I appreciate how easy it is to adjust huge timelines with the predecessor feature. The bandwidth tool is another highlight for me, as it not only helps estimate bandwidth but also allows me to see what everyone is working on in one concise area. Setting up Wrike was a fairly simple process with the help of our Wrike representative.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

I tend to have trouble when creating reports. I usually can't rely on any reports as they are - I need to export them to Google Sheets and then make my own manual updates to create my own visuals/charts. I wish this feature was more more flexible with how I want certain data to be organized.

**What do you like best about Wrike?**

I like how I can put it in Gantt view, which really helps me look at a project and a timeline, and all the predecessors and everything, as far as the steps that a project takes from start to finish. I also appreciate being able to deep dive into each of those phases or tasks and assign them to other users who can help me complete my project. Another thing I like is the ability to look at PDFs, mark them up, and have others see those comments, which is really useful for me at times. When I first started using Wrike, I found it pretty self-explanatory and easy to get into. It just takes a week or two of getting in there and going through it.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

I don't know how much AI is involved with Wrike currently, so that could be an improvement. I would also like for it to be able to measure projects better.

Wrike helps me format projects for easy viewing and communication, enabling teamwork to guide our products through development. The Gantt view helps manage project timelines and task dependencies effectively.

I find that the views in Wrike have limitations. I would like more views that function like spreadsheets, and I wish the List view was brought back.

I appreciate the ease of use and reporting. The timesheets are wonderful to print off each week, tying each hour to a task. Wrike is also crucial for accuracy when creating payroll, and the reporting of hours is essential for cost analysis of projects. The initial setup was pretty easy, and training on Wrike for regular users is straightforward.

The pricing keeps going up. Users have to be purchased in lots of 5. There is a new Pinnacle level and the price jump from base to Pinnacle is quite significant.

I disklike that wrike does not separate images and files that were uploaded at different times in the files section. It can be come tedious searching through multiple files to figure out which one is the updated version.

Not being able to see who changed what (and when) can definitely cause confusion, especially when you’re working with a lot of moving parts. One workaround you might try is using Wrike’s comments or @mentions to manually note important changes, but I agree—it would be much easier if this was tracked automatically. I’d recommend submitting this as a feature request if you haven’t already; Wrike’s product team does pay attention to user suggestions.

As for the API, it sounds like having a more robust reporting endpoint would save you a lot of time. In the meantime, you might be able to use a combination of existing API calls and a little scripting to pull the data you need, but I know that’s not as convenient as a single call.

i was trying to have a place to collect all my projects, tasks, and to do and create a sort of organization and hierarchy. wrike fell short once i found another app that did that and much more, in a more intuitive format and better GUI, multiple operating systems and places where it can be accessed and neat features like notepads time recording, screenshots and more.  task management and organization is important for any buiness but the ability to view task ina way that makes sense or trackable and reliable and accessible from multipe devies that sync..all important i think.

I feel Wrike could improve automation for approvals. Whenever a task is approved, it should automatically move from the QA Approved folder to the Completed folder. Although automation rules exist, this needs to be easier at the user level, as manual movement feels hectic in high Frequency of Use scenarios. The platform already supports multi-selection and bulk actions, but task routing to QA could be more streamlined without repeated steps. We’ve also noticed latency issues on weekends, impacting performance at times. The rest feels good due to strong Ease of Use, Ease of Implementation, Customer Support, Number of Features, and Ease of Integration, which keep us using it daily.

We implemented Wrike in our creative agency over three years ago, and it has transformed the way we manage work. What started as a tool to streamline project intake quickly became the backbone of our operations. Wrike allows us to centralize requests, track projects from start to finish, and create greater visibility across teams through dashboards and reporting.

**What do you dislike about Wrike?**

My only complaint is that I have failed to see new features and tools released as requested by the community. There are huge threads of customers asking to see certain features implemented, and the Wrike team always assures us they're being worked on. I recently searched for a solution and discovered that someone had asked for the same feature to be built once monthly since 2017.

**What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For our agency, Wrike has truly become a single source of truth. It’s eliminated confusion, reduced duplicate efforts, and provided a clear picture of priorities at any given time. The ability to customize dashboards and build reports has given our leadership team valuable insights, helping us make faster, more informed decisions.

Because of its success with our creative team, we’ve recently expanded Wrike into several other departments. It’s proven to be flexible enough to adapt to very different workflows while still providing consistency and alignment across the organization.

I find the workload and effort features in Wrike immensely useful for managing projects within our marketing agency. Wrike is a very good project management tool that we love in our workplace for its AI features. The tool is overall good, and it helps solve lots of communication gaps. Instead of using chat, I can use the comments section. I love the out-of-the-box features and the new AI features. Creating subtasks immediately after some tasks and then adding AI-enabled comments is pretty good.

Sometimes some features seem to be advanced, and we take time to learn it. Also, it could be a little bit more fast and efficient.
