The automation features and different views to organize work. You can definitely customize and build out the tool to be pretty robust. As far as available project management tools, I would say wrike is one of the top. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that are not yet available that seem to be heavily requested such as converting tasks to projects and automations between project and tasks types. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that you can auto-assign tasks and set templates for projects. It takes a lot of the leg work out of creating tasks.
I am in the software nearly every day and can easily see the statuses of all my projects.
The account managers are extremely helpful and ready to jump on calls when needed to help support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not as straightforward as some other task management softwares. It does have a lot of great features, but that can sometimes feel daunting. Some of the features are a little unnecessary so I think it can sometimes add to the clutter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that Wrike provides one place where all tasks/info/communication/etc. can live. This helps with organization and is also helpful when needing to refer back to something like an old task for info. I love that there's a dashboard option that can be customized, and I recently have taken advantage of this feature to improve my organization and project management. For example, one of my clients has many creative deliverables, and I recently created a view that shows me what status each of those deliverables is in (client review, internal review, compliance, etc.). This has helped cut down on the time it takes me to check on the status of each task because I can see it all in one view vs. needing to check each task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are just SO many different things you can do that I often struggle with what the best ways to use some features are. Sometimes it's hard to find past information, but that could just be because I'm not sure where to find it based on how our organization archives things, for example. Wrike allows you to list out specific tasks with individual deadlines as part of a larger project. Tasks can be broken down into small pieces that all tie into the larger project and allows for easy monitoring of progress and actions taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing that I don't like about Wrike is that all of the category fields for every different kind of task show up in every task. I have asked my manager about this and he believes that it is either not possible to set up sub-sets of categories for different types of tasks or it involves more fees. There are currently 68 categories - the tasks that I work on all require fewer than 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With the project management platform we used previously, it was challenging to gain visibility to projects that other team members didn't share directly. The option to create a departmental space is an absolute game changer—now, all our team members can see projects currently in progress without wondering if they have been shared in or not.
The option to view projects and tasks in a kanban board or as a Gantt chart has helped us communicate as a team while moving projects forward, especially with the instant notifications that the next step is ready to be made in the process. Plus, having the capability to @-mention team members has eased our use of Slack and reduced our time spent managing Slack messages overall. It's increased our efficiently as a team to keep conversations visible to all team members as we re-delegated projects as needed.
Not to mention Wrike's excellent online, at-your-own-pace learning tracks—these helped get our team up to speed quickly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, there is very little that I have found to dislike about Wrike. Once you've learned how folders, projects, and tasks work with dashboards and kanban views, it makes project establishment easy. We have had some challenges in customizing widgets in dashboards and creating dashboards for visibility outside of our development, but Wrike's onboarding team has been so helpful in answering our many questions.
There are so many ways for project managers to establish projects in Wrike. Our team created an onboarding subcommittee to identify how our department will use the team space and our best practices to create, share, and communicate. Our licensure includes collaborators, which make it easy to add external members who do not have a license for visibility. I strongly suggest creating an onboarding committee to set your team up for success during the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wrike is very easy to use. Once the structure is in place, it is a great tool to help run and track marketing projects and manage the marketing team. I have used both the paid and free versions of Wrike. From using a few other systems on the market I do think Wrike is by far and away the best and most flexible system available. It was easy to integrate the system within the organisations I brought it into. The customer support has also always been very good. The team are both knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Personally, I do feel the pricing structure is very rigid and not great for the smaller business. From my previous experience I have found what's available under certain packages is not very generous. In particularly I found pricing options for charities to be quite limited. I am a firm advocate of Wrike and really like the software, but feel the pricing could be more flexible and better tailored to the customer in question. As you might expect the features that are available in the free version are limited, but would be nice if more where available to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wrike has very unique analytical boards and dashboard options as well as possibility to use different types of visual agents for your tasks. Help center gives you always very good support in a short time with follow ups when needed. It is very user friendly. The possibility to use it on mobile, desk, and web versions are priceless. Daily tasks are very easy to follow up so it is a tool that you can use it on a daily basis. Integration with other tools like Jira, Teams etc are very smart. It took no so complex period to implement reporting, monitoring dashboard throughout our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Problem comes up if you work with project that has more than 200 tasks analytical reports have some flows that makes it a hustle to customize. Some feature like customized sorting and so on is not well developed. Automation of rules could be more updated in the meaning that it mostly looks like you can put trigger on one condition without updating with several scenarios. Wrike streamlines the company workflow! I started working with Knorr just over a year ago and Wrike was new to me. With a little demistration(and some notes) i was ready to use Wrike in no time! The Ease from moving from Job to Job and how to search , have dashboards has been a piece of cake. I am on wrike for 100% of my jobs checking in with each step to move onto the next. I can see when others tasks are due as well as look for link and uploaded documents. I have not had to use customer support but when my company had a Issue it was fixed quickly. Sometimes I need to minamize my screen to use a scroll bar in some of the areas that i am in. I find its harder to use when just on my laptop than when I am connected to the bigger screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Optimizing our project plans and customer engagement opportunities with Wrike spaces and project cross-tagging fast-tracked our overall onboarding timelines, and provided a simple way to track team utilization on projects through subproject time log summaries. The differential blueprints creating new projects based on conditional fields in Salesforce via the Workato automation have given us much more control over scope-creep and capacity planning. Have to call out Wrike's success and support team, as well as their community, all of which ensure that there is a solution to almost any problem you throw at the tool. Wrike is not a beginner's tool. It requires a clear vision of project structure and data hygiene across systems to implement effectively. The reporting functionality, in particular dashboards, is not as user friendly as similar tools in the space, although the robust support for custom fields allows for ad hoc reporting via .csv to external dashboarding tools. Very easy-to-use visual overview of timekeeping and tracking. Extremely simple to backtrack and make updates to projects from days or weeks in the past accurately. Reliable and comprehensive. It's very easy to use and integrates easily with email and Slack. I use it many times each day to stay on top of my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Wrike is very full of features, but sometimes its complexity is overkill. It can be challenging to navigate without training. As long as you stay within your established workflows, it's great, but trying to do something new or implement a new process can be cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wrike helps us bring transparency to all of our projects. As we are growing as an organization, we are now saying that everything has to be in Wrike for our source of truth. Wrike has implemented a dashboard that allows us to create better transparency. This transparency is not just for the program team but also for people outside of our program. We have implemented a weekly readout that goes to many stakeholders to help keep everyone informed of our progress across our project portoflio. We love what Wrike has done with the Dashboards. Helping people understand Wrike right away. Moving people from Email, PowerPoint and excel can be overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
