What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Wrike?

I love that you can auto-assign tasks and set templates for projects. It takes a lot of the leg work out of creating tasks.

I am in the software nearly every day and can easily see the statuses of all my projects.

The account managers are extremely helpful and ready to jump on calls when needed to help support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

It is not as straightforward as some other task management softwares. It does have a lot of great features, but that can sometimes feel daunting. Some of the features are a little unnecessary so I think it can sometimes add to the clutter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike helps me collaborate with my internal and external teams. It keeps comms to one platform so we aren't losing any project details or repeating ourselves over multiple platforms. It makes it extremely easy for other team members/stakeholders to check in on the progress of certain tasks or jump into tasks as needed. It really helps my team to be cohesive and nimble which is an absolute must when working on many projects quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

I like that Wrike provides one place where all tasks/info/communication/etc. can live. This helps with organization and is also helpful when needing to refer back to something like an old task for info. I love that there's a dashboard option that can be customized, and I recently have taken advantage of this feature to improve my organization and project management. For example, one of my clients has many creative deliverables, and I recently created a view that shows me what status each of those deliverables is in (client review, internal review, compliance, etc.). This has helped cut down on the time it takes me to check on the status of each task because I can see it all in one view vs. needing to check each task. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

There are just SO many different things you can do that I often struggle with what the best ways to use some features are. Sometimes it's hard to find past information, but that could just be because I'm not sure where to find it based on how our organization archives things, for example. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike helps keep all ongoing projects in one platform which benefits me because I don't have to remember everything myself. This also benefits me because I'm able to assign people and tag them into tasks that are important to them/that they need to complete. Wrike also benefits me with a lot of the automatic things that are set up, such as auto-archiving a task/project when it's completed, or sending a reminder that a due date is approaching/has passed. What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike allows you to list out specific tasks with individual deadlines as part of a larger project. Tasks can be broken down into small pieces that all tie into the larger project and allows for easy monitoring of progress and actions taken. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The one thing that I don't like about Wrike is that all of the category fields for every different kind of task show up in every task. I have asked my manager about this and he believes that it is either not possible to set up sub-sets of categories for different types of tasks or it involves more fees. There are currently 68 categories - the tasks that I work on all require fewer than 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike allows a large team of individuals with different skill sets in different areas (sales people, project managers, digital marketing pros. writers, designers, etc.) collaborate through a single touch point. It allows for quick and easy communication between coworkers and allows for easy monitoring of work in progress on projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

With the project management platform we used previously, it was challenging to gain visibility to projects that other team members didn't share directly. The option to create a departmental space is an absolute game changer—now, all our team members can see projects currently in progress without wondering if they have been shared in or not.

The option to view projects and tasks in a kanban board or as a Gantt chart has helped us communicate as a team while moving projects forward, especially with the instant notifications that the next step is ready to be made in the process. Plus, having the capability to @-mention team members has eased our use of Slack and reduced our time spent managing Slack messages overall. It's increased our efficiently as a team to keep conversations visible to all team members as we re-delegated projects as needed.

Not to mention Wrike's excellent online, at-your-own-pace learning tracks—these helped get our team up to speed quickly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Honestly, there is very little that I have found to dislike about Wrike. Once you've learned how folders, projects, and tasks work with dashboards and kanban views, it makes project establishment easy. We have had some challenges in customizing widgets in dashboards and creating dashboards for visibility outside of our development, but Wrike's onboarding team has been so helpful in answering our many questions.

There are so many ways for project managers to establish projects in Wrike. Our team created an onboarding subcommittee to identify how our department will use the team space and our best practices to create, share, and communicate. Our licensure includes collaborators, which make it easy to add external members who do not have a license for visibility. I strongly suggest creating an onboarding committee to set your team up for success during the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Wrike:

Wrike has an excellent self-paced onboarding program that includes fun animated videos. This program makes training more manageable with small teams! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed one tool for managing our projects—our team had been working partially in Basecamp, partially in Smartsheets, and using Slack and email to fill in space where needed. It didn't prove easy to figure out where projects were in progress, and communication was often not documented or spread widely throughout multiple tools. Wrike answered all of our needs and provided a space to streamline and capture all our communication in one tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike is very easy to use. Once the structure is in place, it is a great tool to help run and track marketing projects and manage the marketing team. I have used both the paid and free versions of Wrike. From using a few other systems on the market I do think Wrike is by far and away the best and most flexible system available. It was easy to integrate the system within the organisations I brought it into. The customer support has also always been very good. The team are both knowledgeable, friendly and responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Personally, I do feel the pricing structure is very rigid and not great for the smaller business. From my previous experience I have found what's available under certain packages is not very generous. In particularly I found pricing options for charities to be quite limited. I am a firm advocate of Wrike and really like the software, but feel the pricing could be more flexible and better tailored to the customer in question. As you might expect the features that are available in the free version are limited, but would be nice if more where available to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

With so many marketing projects happening within the business, Wrike has been brilliant at helping to manage and track those projects to ensure they stay on track, remain within budget with the resources available. It has also been a great tool to show how projects have compared against KPIs, as well as helping to manage resources and workload. In the case of when I used Wrike at a Charity it acted as a great tool to ensure a seamless workflow between marketing, fundraising and other key parts of the Charity. What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike has very unique analytical boards and dashboard options as well as possibility to use different types of visual agents for your tasks. Help center gives you always very good support in a short time with follow ups when needed. It is very user friendly. The possibility to use it on mobile, desk, and web versions are priceless. Daily tasks are very easy to follow up so it is a tool that you can use it on a daily basis. Integration with other tools like Jira, Teams etc are very smart. It took no so complex period to implement reporting, monitoring dashboard throughout our company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Problem comes up if you work with project that has more than 200 tasks analytical reports have some flows that makes it a hustle to customize. Some feature like customized sorting and so on is not well developed. Automation of rules could be more updated in the meaning that it mostly looks like you can put trigger on one condition without updating with several scenarios. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Lack of Visibility & Transparency:

Many teams struggle with tracking work progress, responsibilities, and deadlines. Wrike provides a centralized workspace where all tasks, dependencies, and project statuses are visible in real time.

Inefficient Communication & Collaboration:

Teams often rely on scattered emails, chats, and meetings, leading to misunderstandings and delays. Wrike integrates discussions, comments, and file sharing within tasks, reducing the need for back-and-forth communication.

Difficulty in Prioritization & Workload Balancing:

Without a clear view of workloads, teams risk overloading some members while underutilizing others. Wrike helps with workload management, allowing managers to balance resources effectively.

Manual & Repetitive Workflows:

Teams spend time on redundant tasks like status updates and approvals. Wrike’s automation features reduce manual work by setting up rule-based workflows and approvals.

Disorganized Documentation & Version Control Issues:

Documents get lost in email threads, or different teams work on outdated versions. Wrike centralizes documentation and integrates with storage tools like Google Drive and OneDrive.

Difficulty in Measuring Performance & Success:

Many teams struggle to track KPIs, project progress, and bottlenecks. Wrike’s dashboards and reporting tools provide real-time insights into performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike streamlines the company workflow! I started working with Knorr just over a year ago and Wrike was new to me. With a little demistration(and some notes) i was ready to use Wrike in no time! The Ease from moving from Job to Job and how to search , have dashboards has been a piece of cake. I am on wrike for 100% of my jobs checking in with each step to move onto the next. I can see when others tasks are due as well as look for link and uploaded documents. I have not had to use customer support but when my company had a Issue it was fixed quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Sometimes I need to minamize my screen to use a scroll bar in some of the areas that i am in. I find its harder to use when just on my laptop than when I am connected to the bigger screens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike is giving me a schedule to work with. I was not in marketing before working for Knorr so I am not aware on how these tasks even moved arround the company before. I can only imagine they had to have a lot of in person meetings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Optimizing our project plans and customer engagement opportunities with Wrike spaces and project cross-tagging fast-tracked our overall onboarding timelines, and provided a simple way to track team utilization on projects through subproject time log summaries. The differential blueprints creating new projects based on conditional fields in Salesforce via the Workato automation have given us much more control over scope-creep and capacity planning. Have to call out Wrike's success and support team, as well as their community, all of which ensure that there is a solution to almost any problem you throw at the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is not a beginner's tool. It requires a clear vision of project structure and data hygiene across systems to implement effectively. The reporting functionality, in particular dashboards, is not as user friendly as similar tools in the space, although the robust support for custom fields allows for ad hoc reporting via .csv to external dashboarding tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Onboarding project creation is now automated based on specific data points in Salesforce, streamlining what used to be a manual task. Additionally, ad hoc project creation is triggered by data from Zendesk, simplifying the assignment process even further. These improvements have drastically reduced the time spent on administrative tasks and allowed my team to focus their efforts on more strategic activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Very easy-to-use visual overview of timekeeping and tracking. Extremely simple to backtrack and make updates to projects from days or weeks in the past accurately. Reliable and comprehensive. It's very easy to use and integrates easily with email and Slack. I use it many times each day to stay on top of my projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is very full of features, but sometimes its complexity is overkill. It can be challenging to navigate without training. As long as you stay within your established workflows, it's great, but trying to do something new or implement a new process can be cumbersome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

The agency I work for has highly complex workstreams that require detailed time tracking and organizational features. Wrike accomplishes all of these tasks easily and helps my team and I stay organized and on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike helps us bring transparency to all of our projects. As we are growing as an organization, we are now saying that everything has to be in Wrike for our source of truth. Wrike has implemented a dashboard that allows us to create better transparency. This transparency is not just for the program team but also for people outside of our program. We have implemented a weekly readout that goes to many stakeholders to help keep everyone informed of our progress across our project portoflio. We love what Wrike has done with the Dashboards. What do you dislike about Wrike?

Helping people understand Wrike right away. Moving people from Email, PowerPoint and excel can be overwhelming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transparency to the status of activity of all of our projects across the program. Also, helping us preplan projects based on a teamplate as our process is repetivitve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
