What do you like best about Wrike?

The price point for Wrike is awesome - in concept, all the functionality of this tool are a great equal to Workfront, which IMO is the platform doing OSRs the best. I like the customization abilities, I like all of the features like time tracking, formulas, reporting, custom fields, internal rate cards and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

The user experience in Wrike is clunky. Managing the system from the backend is frustrating. Blueprint templates don't always work. Dashboarding is incredibly difficult and not intuitive. All of the features I've wanted to use have all had issues and errors. The bug reporting process takes too much time - I don't have an account rep who has the answers, I have to open multiple tickets to process issues, and I can't keep up with all the communication. It's disappointing because I truly believe Wrike could be a great contender. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Wrike has brought alot of our organization into one space, however we constantly have to make supplementary tools like spreadsheets to get the consistency we need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

With the project management platform we used previously, it was challenging to gain visibility to projects that other team members didn't share directly. The option to create a departmental space is an absolute gamer changer—now, all our team members can see projects currently in progress without wondering if they have been shared in or not.

The option to view projects and tasks in a kanban board or as a Gantt chart has helped us communicate as a team while moving projects forward, especially with the instant notifications that the next step is ready to be made in the process. Plus, having the capability to @-mention team members has eased our use of Slack and reduced our time spent managing Slack messages overall. It's increased our efficiently as a team to keep conversations visible to all team members as we re-delegated projects as needed.

Not to mention Wrike's excellent online, at-your-own-pace learning tracks—these helped get our team up to speed quickly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Honestly, there is very little that I have found to dislike about Wrike. Once you've learned how folders, projects, and tasks work with dashboards and kanban views, it makes project establishment easy. We have had some challenges in customizing widgets in dashboards and creating dashboards for visibility outside of our development, but Wrike's onboarding team has been so helpful in answering our many questions.

There are so many ways for project managers to establish projects in Wrike. Our team created an onboarding subcommittee to identify how our department will use the team space and our best practices to create, share, and communicate. Our licensure includes collaborators, which make it easy to add external members who do not have a license for visibility. I strongly suggest creating an onboarding committee to set your team up for success during the onboarding process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Wrike:

Wrike has an excellent self-paced onboarding program that includes fun animated videos. This program makes training more manageable with small teams! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed one tool for managing our projects—our team had been working partially in Basecamp, partially in Smartsheets, and using Slack and email to fill in space where needed. It didn't prove easy to figure out where projects were in progress, and communication was often not documented or spread widely throughout multiple tools. Wrike answered all of our needs and provided a space to streamline and capture all our communication in one tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Optimizing our project plans and customer engagement opportunities with Wrike spaces and project cross-tagging fast-tracked our overall onboarding timelines, and provided a simple way to track team utilization on projects through subproject time log summaries. The differential blueprints creating new projects based on conditional fields in Salesforce via the Workato automation have given us much more control over scope-creep and capacity planning. Have to call out Wrike's success and support team, as well as their community, all of which ensure that there is a solution to almost any problem you throw at the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Wrike is not a beginner's tool. It requires a clear vision of project structure and data hygiene across systems to implement effectively. The reporting functionality, in particular dashboards, is not as user friendly as similar tools in the space, although the robust support for custom fields allows for ad hoc reporting via .csv to external dashboarding tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Onboarding project creation is now automated based on specific data points in Salesforce, streamlining what used to be a manual task. Additionally, ad hoc project creation is triggered by data from Zendesk, simplifying the assignment process even further. These improvements have drastically reduced the time spent on administrative tasks and allowed my team to focus their efforts on more strategic activities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Wrike helps us bring transparency to all of our projects. As we are growing as an organization, we are now saying that everything has to be in Wrike for our source of truth. Wrike has implemented a dashboard that allows us to create better transparency. This transparency is not just for the program team but also for people outside of our program. We have implemented a weekly readout that goes to many stakeholders to help keep everyone informed of our progress across our project portoflio. We love what Wrike has done with the Dashboards. What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transparency to the status of activity of all of our projects across the program. Also, helping us preplan projects based on a teamplate as our process is repetivitve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Automations within tasks and projects are amazing. We have set up automations so that when a date is entered into a cusom field, an entirely new task is created for a different department to complete. The task stays within the project, but also displays in the other team's work queue. Both teams can monitor the progress of the task and project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Limitations on the amount of data that can be entered into the Data Hub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Transparency between business units has been made much easier with Wrike. Wrike has also decreased the amount of time teams waste on finding email threads in who know which inbox to find project details and sending information back and forth through emails. What do you dislike about Wrike?

It costs extra for analyze, integrate, and more rows in Datahub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Wrike:

Try out the trial or free version. The easiest way to see if this will meet your needs is to use it and try to "break" your process within the tool! If you can't, then it is a great option! They are constantly updating and releasing new features as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

This helps our team keep track of our current workload, new requests, and team wide projects. It helps departments throughout my workplace to spin up request forms quickly to meet changing project needs. We also are using Wrike to get out of spreadsheets, email, and legacy software into a consistent platform with greater visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Wrike has a great support team who will reach back out quickly to help with any issues. So far, I have had same day responses from the support team and they will walk me through to make sure I understand, which I appreciate. The online help page has been a great resource as well. The project teams have jumped right in and quickly adapted to the system and uses it consistently as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are constantly finding new ways to use Wrike. Once team members are introduced, they think of new use cases frequently.

What do you like best about Wrike?

Helps grow work beyond collaboration to co-creation! Simple tools and complex ones too. Grows with your usage over years and years. But the thing I like best is the outstanding customer service. Whether you're planning an implementation, need to meet with your dedicated Customer Service Manager or attend their excellent user conferences, even have a problem with a report you cannot figure out, Wrike staff is there everytime you need them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wrike?

Nothing really! Leadership wants the stars and moon and sun but it takes hours and hours, maybe months and month to gather and input needed data, the tool takes socialization and support from leadership, managers, and staff to push and support the usage of the tool (read: behavior change) over time. Easy to kill adoption will over delivery sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Wrike solving and how is that benefiting you?

Not working in email, then spreadsheets, then Teams. The context switching thing is an invisible efficiency killer that Wrike helps to reduce. Visibility of work aids collaboration in a single point of truth expedites everything! Love making timelines visible so as to ward off problems. Duplication of projects is easy. Communications is easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
