It was a chance to connect with attendees before the conference. It was great on sharing common interest(s) before hand so we can recognize one another in person at the event. That happened to me. I shared that it was my first time attending this conference and discovered that I was not the only one...:). As soon as I arrived on the first time, someone stopped me to introduce herself because we met on the app. There were ways to start conversation. Also during the event, we were able to post pictures, share comments, etc.
There was also a health dose of competition on who was the most engaged in the app and at the conference. It was interesting to see who did the most! It was also good to get updates in real time.
It was good that we had options to check either on the website or via the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I didn't get a chance to use Whoa like I wanted; I didn't really read the WhovaGuide to maximize the use of the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was easy to navigate. I especially liked the part where you could see all the events on the day, or just the ones you signed up for. Being able to communicate with the messager feature was also helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Im not sure there is one? I have not been a user long enough Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The app is very easy to use and laid out in a way that is intuitive. I was able to move around the app with no issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No real downside - the notifications were clear Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to add notes under each speaker/talk so there's one less item to write/try to capture.

1. Really sad that the notes didn't allow photos to be taken when other aspect of the app did. Now I have to export my notes, sort through my photos and hope I'm gettting the right picture in the right spot.
2. LOVED the note export function, and was excited to see in the app that it had the speaker, title, etc built in, BUT when I exported to email, somehow that organization format/function was lost, so I had to go back to the app to retrieve info and then add it to my notes. The Whova app is so easy to use. As a first timer, it made event information overload simple to organize and navigate. Everything you need, from schedules to attendee bios, is just a tap away. Whova turns event chaos into a smooth ride—no GPS needed! For anyone competitive on your staff, the Leaderboard drives high engagement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whova will recommend you connect with attendees based on your interests and work history bio. It recommended I connect with myself in several instances as I was the only attendee with those interests and company backgrounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It made attending the conference so easy. You can easily toggle between the full agenda and your own agenda, which is easily made through a simple "add to your agenda" button. You can take notes inside the app for each session you attend, and then receive a summary of these notes later to add to whatever document or tool you typically use for notes. It recommended attendees I might want to talk to based on my background and interests, which was great for me as a first time conference attendee. Messaging other attendees was a feature and was easy to use. Post-attendance surveys were obvious to find and simple to use. There was even a floor map to help you find your room. -I got to interact with my audience prior to the presentation and give them a meaningful way to engage with the material Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have very little negative feedback. There was one attendee who wasn't in the directory which was strange. The leaderboard felt unnecessary but it wasn't an issue Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found Whova very helpful to monitor my schedule for a packed three days of activity. I love that we had reminders we could schedule 10 minutes before our next event, and that we had a centralized place to contact our organizers with any questions. I used this app consistently throughout the day and had no trouble finding it in the app store, downloading it, and finding my event. Very easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We had so many people engaging in the community forums, it became overwhelming. A lot of topics were repeated or not seen because of the amount of people in our conference creating content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
