It's robust nature that allows to me setup almost all types of event using it.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

It's limitation with speaker resoruce center. It forces admins to create account under speaker's name else admins will be considered primary speaker which is very incovenient to manage as a planner.

Helping me create event website, registration form and event app for our attendees.

Many options for event registration, publication, and hosting.  

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Better for larger organizations with deep pockets.  Options work great but are expensive for smaller groups. 

**What problems is Cvent Event Marketing & Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up an online/virtual conference for 100-150 attendees.  Conference worked out well but many features were out of our price range so we had to skip them.

The Event Marketing and Management has been helpful for us to send out emails that are marketed towards our clients who are already signed up for some of the items. They have been super helpful in targeting a client who wants to attend a certain thing.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Sometimes its difficult to match the emails with other ones you have already created in another event. We've copied over events, but if we're looking for a format from an event we didn't copy over then it's hard to match it.

It's helping us send those targeted emails to attendees who are already signed up for a portion of the event.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I like the diversity of Cvent. It offers a lot of customization and features that you don't see in most registration tools. There is a wide variety of services and products and the way they can integrate easily with external systems is great.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

While the variety and customization of Cvent is great, the amount of customization can make the first couple of events tedious and time-consuming to set up because you have to ensure all of your settings are "just right". Once the first few events are created, the "copy event" feature makes the next round of events considerably easier.

Cvent is helping us create a more customized registration process for our attendees while still allowing us to keep our branding and message at the front of everything.

I did not find anything good about working with Cvent

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

First of all, Cvent oversold their experience and expertise at initial meeting. The project manager assigned to our project didn't have any idea on what are requirement or expectations for the specific event. The agreement and work order were very misleading i believe purposely to hide the total cost.  The WO contained two Total costs and nowhere explained that the grand total is the sum of two total costs. At any point during many discussions or in the WO it was explained that the 'subscription' to their software is renewed automatically unless you opt out in writing. The services that we didn’t need e.g. subscription to the software were added to the scope of work which was not clear unless you read pages of small print of terms and conditions. The Cvent software we used had less features than regular teams or zoom and the chat function didn’t even work during one of our meetings.
Overall, I found extremely frustrating to work with Cvent and did not appreciate their inflexibility

It created more problems than solved

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I have been using Cvent products for years. I love that all of my associates can view RFP's in real time and that clients can continue using Cvent when they book business with us by utilizing Passkey. Our team is utilizing Cvent products every day and it has helped streamline our processes.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Some of my team members are not as tech-savvy as others and can find the many features overwhelming. Once you're familiar with all of the options, it's easy to find what you need but it can take time to learn all of the caveats.

**What problems is Cvent Event Marketing & Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest issues we had was communication. With Cvent, we're able to reach out to people with pertinent info about their event, promotions for their visit, or general insight to the conference. We also appreciate that after the conclusion of the conference, we can ask for their feedback and use that to make our event better.

Cvent registration is an all-in-one system. You want attendees to feel like they are having a great experience for an event before they even leave. It is helpful to be able to house all of the information in one area for our client. You can collect all of the information you need for an event without worrying about losing any data. Also, it works great to communicate to attendees - invitation, travel letter and information, etc.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Every now and then I will get a glitch or something that may not be functioning properly. However, Cvent has great customer service and they usually fix it rather quickly.

**Recommendations to others considering Cvent Event Marketing & Management:**

Make your event not only user friendly, but event planner friendly! I do not know what we would do without Cvent registration.

Cvent registration solves all of the manual processes of collecting data from attendees. It helps the event start seamlessly and it connects all together with air and hotel requests.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Cvent is an excellent event management tool that my company has been using for over 11 years - and is our main conference/event tool. The product consistently improves year after year. Cvent’s customer support is outstanding, offering multiple support channels: direct calls for urgent issues, case submissions, and assistance from their friendly Account Executives. We also use Cvent’s on-site badge pick-up service, which makes the process seamless. Additionally, Cvent’s reporting capabilities are impressive, including web portals for non-Cvent users (typically management) to access reports. Creating event registrations is also straightforward, and the results look fantastic.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The challenges we face with Cvent are minimal. Since we use Salesforce as our CRM, we rely on a third-party integration tool because Cvent’s native integration isn’t quite robust enough yet - but I admit that we have some advanced requirements. Additionally, while Cvent can be a bit pricey, the value it delivers makes it well worth the investment.

Cvent streamlines our event registration process, allowing us to focus entirely on executing the event itself.

We have used CVENT for many years now, as an organisation. It has shown to offer us continously good service, innovative practice and it stands out from other event management platforms. 

LIKES: 
-  Streamline communication between attendee hub / webiste 
    builder and app 

- Readily available information and support 

- Brand / assets and video can be stored effectively and an "on 
   demand" option for event footage is a great element 

- Embedding links vis blogs / webpages and registration forms 
  is straught forward

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

There are not many issues with CVENT apart from the following: 

- Logging in can be a challenge sometimes, especially with firewalls 

- Integrating the design of the web and phone can also  be a challenge

- Ticketing (Ease) Paying / refunding / kepping data 
- An all encompassing platform that speaks to itself 
- Client delegation of tasks is very effective
- Exhibitor / sponsor management is good and tasks / portals help to ensure the work is done

Cvent is really easy to use. Their  updates are always in line with the needs of the user.What I appreciate most about Cvent is how user-friendly their tools and platform are. The service representatives are incredibly helpful, and I find the webinars and knowledge base easy to understand. I’ve never been let down by their service, and every event I’ve managed has been executed flawlessly. It's a reliable partner for our event needs!

I do not have anything that I dislike. I think they’re pretty great

Cvent is addressing several key challenges in event management, such as streamlining event planning, managing follow-ups, and keeping up with current trends. For me, this means we stay organized throughout the entire process, allowing us to make informed decisions and reassess our approach as needed. While there can be delays in responses from attendees regarding reminders and pre-event logistics, Cvent’s tools ensure everything stays on track, making our planning much more efficient and effective.

Love using CVENT Event Marketing and Management. Very easy to upload attendees and manage all of their details. Clients find the experience all inclusive as well. I also really appreciate CVENT support being available whenver needed!

Do wish the registration site options were more vast. It seems like there are only a few options to choose from unless you get CVENT to make the website for you.

Cvent's Event Management tool is easy to use, especially for managing events of all sizes. The platform has lots of time-saving benefits within it's intuitive website setup and administration tools, and is very helpful to simplify event planning and coordination. This makes it so much easier for our event team to manage and scale our event operations efficiently.

I can't think of any cons. Maybe the cost? But I've been using this platform for years! There may be a learning curve, but once you get comfortable using it, you can't live without it.

I like that so many aspects of event planning can exist within the Cvent environment.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I think there are a lot of limitations in terms of website, registration, email, mobile app, and coding design. There are lots of tools such as the seating and diagramming, but it's not fully integrated into the Cvent ecosystem and is not compatible with other tools such as the mobile app. Fully integrating tools to use across other Cvent platforms would be a great improvement!

Cvent allows me to create websites and registration sites for events.

Cvent support is available 24/7 and can troubleshoot with you over the phone or via chat. 

The platform allows you to integrate your branding and customise the customer journey. 

The on arrival kiosks were intuitive and well received by participants.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Their abstract management portal could be enhanced to be more user friendly and to allow for information to flow into the event portal (I know they are working on the latter). 

Group registration invoicing is not currently set-up.

We needed an integrated system that could do all elements of the conference experience and did not constantly result in us hitting walls with functionality.

I appreciate the ease of the platform the best. It's well organized  which makes navigating the key functions of Admin, Contacts, Events, Suppliers, and Support Center a breeze. In the instance, I do run into any issues locating or implementing anything, I can always reach out to the customer support team for assistance.

Imprompt changes in the platform that I am not aways made awareof which throws me off when I am used to the previous implication/set-up.

Easy to customise event pages and the registration process to your unique requirements. Using the full suite of solutions means that you can be really smart with your reporting and saves on a lot of administration time which can spend elsewhere planning an event. For a small team its a lifesaver.

So many features and settings that sometimes it can feel overwhelming as to the best way to manage something.

One source of data for all stages of the events - no requirements to work in excel, uploading and downloading bits.

The platform as a whole has many features to make it easy for event planners to manage their events from start to finish. The user face is clean and easy to navigate and very customizable to what we want to do. It is also very easy on the attendee side - very straightforward and simple. 
The reporting feature is a life savor. Very customizable and detailed. 
Customer Support - very helpful and very fast.

It is a little on the pricy side to get the plan you want with everything included. 
You also need training - but Cvent has a very good customer portal with great training documents if you cant get the in hands training.

It is worth your money. Makes life easier!

We are able to streamline our processes of planning and managing - venue sourcing, passkey, registration, concur integrations, etc. 
The reporting is also a huge benefit. Fast answers.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The system is pretty much easy to figure out for the early 30s and younger group as we've grown up with computers and have typically become proficient with figuring out how to navigate programs.  There are a lot of options and templates that allow you to quickly put together a website that houses basic information.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

In presentations to sell the Cvent service, there are several graphics and options shown that require the use of a graphics designer or one of their specialists at $150/hour.  I'd have respected the company more if they only showed what their site could do alone.

**Recommendations to others considering Cvent Event Marketing & Management:**

you'll need to allot time to get it up and running.  There is quite a bit of leg-work getting everything started.  Once you're up and running, it gets much easier and quicker to use.

I began as meeting planner right when we started using Cvent.  In the past, the meeting planner used various programs (Outlook for emails, Excel for reports that were copied/pasted, hard-copies of presentations and agendas, and some other registration site).  As a result, NOTHING was really available for me to reference when I took over, so I was really just flying blind.  We now use Cvent to send out emails, run reports, and make digital copies of presentations available (allowing us to update every time a presenter makes a change).  We are also able to mark people who have registered as having attended.  This allows us to print a report of attendees that are time/date stamped for the purpose of having information in case of an audit for CE credits.

When we set out to find a new event management tool, we met with several vendors. None could meet our needs. Then we found Cvent. Cvent checked all our boxes and more! The sales staff was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to help us test our specific use cases. They were a wealth of knowledge and gave us confidence in the product. We've now been using Cvent for over a year and we couldn't be happier. It's streamlined our processes, improved the user experiences, and gives us all the reporting we need easily. There team was with us every step of the way during our integration phase and made it a breeze. I highly recommend this tool!

Cvent was such a drastic improvement from our previous solutions, so it's hard to speak to anything negative! The tool does SO much so it can be daunting to learn everything and get your webpages looking nice. However our support teams have been a great resource. Cvent provides our users an easy way to select and schedule for events. It also automatically sends reminder emails. This has benefited us by improving event turn out. 
It allows us to build in registration criteria and requirements. We have a unique use case and Cvent allows us to tailor to tool to our needs. 
Cvent integrates into Salesforce. This is huge for us. Salesforce is our main CRM and this integration is key. 
Cvent allows us to easily create and send emails customized to each event and session. This has benefited us by improving communication with our users. We love having this tool built into the platform.

The reports we can run and share with our board are endless. The customer service is above any other product I've used. They anticipate our needs and suggest solutions.

I love the all-inclusive aspect of Cvent overall. The company has acquired a lot of pieces to the event management puzzle, making it a one-stop-shop.  I especially like the overall ease of customer service.  You can make a call, sit on chat, email, etc.  Whatever your preference is, you have it.  Implementation of the Cvent platform is simple and easy, they walk you through EVERY step of the process!

The cost is hard with a university budget. I wish there were a cheaper option if you do free events to discount things a bit.  I also would love an easier way to connect Touchnet to Cvent. The connection is excellent, but if you need to make changes, you have to do it in both locations.  I'd also love for work orders/cases to have a central account by Account vs. User.  It's nearly impossible if you have 2/3 people working on an event to keep track of Support orders.

Cvent truly is an all-in-one platform for event planning. With the different add-ins, you are able to customzie the event registration experience for your attendees, from the initial email sent to follow up surveys. The report function allows you to export all requested information into excel which is a necessary function for any event planning. Additionally, it is customizable and allows us to set templates that follow our exact branding requirements.

There are several functional elements of Cvent that feel almost too basic and do not allow for ease of use. The reporting functions for surveys are leaps and bounds behind those of the event management software, and when designing surveys you are extremely limited when it comes to building out the actual design. There are going to be pain points with any software, but many of the ones we as customers experience should already be resolved.

What I like most about Cvent registration is the customization. Cvent provides many different ways that we can customize registration for each event. Within registration, you can use widgits, open text responses, data tags, and more. You can create custom contact fields for more specific reporting. In our field, we can collect license numbers, and then use that data tag to create custom certificates. Registration data then is compiled in easy reporting. We use Cvent registrations frequently for multiple events, and find it reliable and relatively straightforward to use. If we ever  have registration questions, the customer support team is wonderful to work with.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

What I dislike about Cvent registration is that it can be difficult to review the entire registration process in one snapshot. If we are requiring a lot of information from the attendee, such as collecting demographic information, it's difficult to view the registration process as a whole. I also wish there was more flexibility within the widgets to create better forms, such as being able to decrease the widget sizes so that the registration forms don't look so long. In registration confirmation email, the calendar widget appears to be outdated. Some of the graphics are pixelated.

Cvent registration is beneficial because it takes our user through a straighforward registration process, and collects payment information all within one system. Cvent is a significant improvement from our old way of managing registrations. I like that it is a centralized way of handling things, and it makes processing payments easy.

The product is not intuitive. Everything takes a half dozen clicks. There is not great support. The first response for every question is 5 links and/or PDFs to read through, rather than a direct answer to my request for help. However, I think the customer service is getting better.
There are endless upsells, so that it isn't always clear what is included or excluded.

The hassle of tracking registrations, processing payments, and reporting was overwhelming for our small non-profit as our membership meetings grew. My most used and incredible product is the amazing widgets that are enabled for the ease of use and registration. These widgets make it so easy to display all the information needed for my attendees to easily register for thier event. The  widgets have cut down our time by half in creation by utilizing these.

I don't like that the  bulk upload information process for attendees and other information is so sensitive to any and all cases or spaces and it makes that process a lot harder to get done quickly as intended.

It makes the registration process super easy and streamline for both our events planning team who creates the registration path, as well as our registrants who have had a much easier time registerring with this new system. I also really love the customer service team as we had many special circumstances that they have been able to help us navigate and cater to our specific event.

The only issue that we have had with registration is there is a bit of a learning curve with using Cvent, as the user interface is only intuitive after you have had practice and know where to find things under specific taps and tags.

I like that Cvent is all-inclusive from sourcing and budgeting, all the way to reporting final metrics. The registration and event website software itself is very robust and can accommodate nearly any scenario you require, including guest and group registrations, discounts, separate registration experiences for different types of attendees, etc., with a clean, branded user interface that is comprehensive for your registrants.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The email marketing is sometimes an issue; since it runs through Cvent servers it sometimes gets stopped by spam filters as spoofed. This isn't a regular issue, however. For new users, learning the software can take time because of how robust it is. And though Cvent can manage the entire lifecycle of an event, it's not all-inclusive: to build a full solution from sourcing to onsite may necessitate purchasing additional modules, depending on your event's needs.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The app is extremly polished on the user side. Things flowed really easily and we received numerous compliments on the app's structure. We were able to put a ton of information and design it in a way to be engaging. We also had a tremendous support team helping us build the app (shouout Mihir) that helped us from development through event reporting. The polling and Q&A features were seamless and we were able to use them with multiple moderaters without issue.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The testing environment could be a bit challenging at times because you are required to submit a code every time you were testing it through the browser - you could get around this by using the app to see your live updates. There is a big learning curve from the old app, but once you get past that, it's fairly easy to use.

**What problems is Cvent Event Marketing & Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having a place where we can load all event information that is easy to access and navigate.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

My organization has used Cvent for a while but I just started using it in the past few months. It has been incredibly easy to learn the system and put it into action for the events that I run. The Cvent support team is great and always answer all of my questions when I need them. I'm excited to launch Cvent for my events!

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

Transitioning all of our existing processes and platforms into Cvent can sometimes be challenging.
