**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I love how Cvent Event Marketing & Management keeps all the materials and data in one central hub, allowing our stakeholders and internal planners to find information quickly. It also lets me build events simply or complexly from end to end, with features like email invitations, confirmations, and day-to-day adjustments all accessible within the same platform. It's great that it saves time by making everything work together seamlessly, giving multiple teams access to the same data.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I think with every large platform it's hard to pivot to make every new feature work in every area. As power users, we try to adjust the platform as best we can as we learn its limitations. Just abilities within widgets can't be toggled or colors that can be changed while keeping other places in the event the same color.

I like Cvent Event Marketing & Management for its ability to build and design the websites I need. It helps me engage with clients effectively, and once they get familiar with the platform and its capabilities, I'm able to enhance their website and app experiences for their attendees. The initial setup was very easy, and with training, it has helped me build websites effectively. Overall, I'm highly likely to recommend it as a great platform to engage with my clients.

The amount of times I have to tap into different sections of the website to get where I need to be is sometimes confusing, and figuring out where things live within the app designing platform can be a challenge. However, with training, it has helped me understand where things are located.

I like that Cvent Event Marketing & Management makes registration and on-site arrival at events super easy. It solves the problem of long check-in lines with efficient badge printing and easy editing of names on badges at events. Everything goes directly into my CRM, saving so much time and reducing manual work. I appreciate that it's all under one umbrella, and I don't really have to do anything because Cvent handles the back-end work. The event technology keeps upgrading, providing great solutions. The new Cvent IQ feature is a nice touch, allowing for chatbot support if needed. Every single feature in Cvent saves us time, enabling my team and me to focus more on our customers and business mission. The initial setup was extremely easy because my account management team did everything. I rate it 10 out of 10 for recommending it to others.

Cvent has taken all of the multiple, manual processes that my job has entailed and automated them in one simple place. Instead of toggling between Microsoft forms, excel sheets, emails, etc., I can now find all the info I need in one spot- plus more info, data, insights etc that I previously hadn’t had access to!

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

There’s really not anything specific I dislike. I am not familiar with coding or website designing, so some aspects of building out automated emails that pull in data tags in a bit confusing to me, but I know with more time and practice, it’ll get easier. My team just fully implemented Cvent about two months ago, and luckily we’ve had such a great team to guide us through and are there for us whenever we have questions!

**What problems is Cvent Event Marketing & Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem that Cvent is solving for us is taking 5+ manual tasks that were a huge time suck and automating them in one spot. Between Microsoft forms, excel, power automate, and emails, the manual tasks were taking up so much of my day. Since implementing Cvent, those same tasks are getting done in 1/4 of the time.

Cvent event marketing and management has streamlined our entire event process. It’s efficient and improves our company’s ability to create and manage events. Every department in my company holds conferences, and they all report the time savings they see when using Cvent. That efficiency also frees people up to be more productive in other aspects of their jobs.

I don’t dislike anything about it, but it does take time to learn and properly manage the system. There are a lot of features and functions to get familiar with, so it can take a while to learn the product efficiently and use it with confidence.

Before Cvent, we didn’t have a unified solution. Every time our company held a conference, everyone was essentially recreating the wheel. Now we can all use each other’s data, which has helped streamline the process and keep things more consistent from one event to the next.

CVENT makes the registration, sourcing, and planning process seamless from start to finish. It holds all of the pertinent information that is needed and creates a seamless flow from start to finish. The reporting features allow you to see your business from a high level down to the minute details, allowing for better business reach and leverage in negotiations with hotels, venues, and partners. The partnership with your Cvent representative is extremely valuable, and they are always available to help, as needed.

The reporting tool could use some tweaking to make it an easier process to get what you're looking for much faster.

I love how personalized it is for our registrants. While it makes them feel seen and heard, it also answers a lot of questions that our staff would otherwise have to field. It's also easy to build, with a lot of they key features built in. It also minimizes what we have to email every day by providing daily and session summaries. It's just been a great addition to our events.

I would love more flexibility in the overall design. The ability to change how things are formatted, plus rigidity in what areas have what colors, makes it hard. I'd love to add more panache to the simple design.

AttendeeHub is just a key information source for our registrants now. It's incredibly helpful with a program that is often subject to change. They can stay up to date with what's happening. It also allows us to send out mass communications that don't get lost in the email inbox. And the daily summaries mean we can focus email communication on other items, making us more efficient.

We have delved deeper into Cvent capabilities - including customizing communications and follow up for session attendees/non-attendees.  We are able to tailor our messaging not just at the event level - but also at the individual session level, which is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

As we utilize sessions within events more, it would be useful to be able to display attendees by session - not just by event.  That way, guests can see who is attending each sub event and use that info to decide their own attendance.

Cvent is a great solution for our event needs. I recommend learning how they can work with your organization.

Our org. can manage complex events through one platform.  With Cvent, we can provide up-to-date changing info on events. One of the newer things I like about Cvent Event Marketing & Management is the continued innovation around AI and workflow improvements. Features like CventIQ help streamline tasks such as writing event content and generating session summaries, which saves time for planners. I also appreciate the new navigation updates that make the platform easier to move through, along with tools like bulk session tagging that simplify managing large agendas. Enhancements like Cvent Essentials also make it easier to scale smaller events while maintaining a consistent experience.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

One area where Cvent Event Marketing & Management could improve is simplifying the user experience. While the platform is very powerful, the number of features can make it complex for new users and sometimes requires a steep learning curve. Additional onboarding guidance and simplified workflows would help teams get up to speed faster. I would also like to see more flexibility in page design and formatting, as well as better collaboration capabilities so multiple team members can work in the same event build simultaneously.

I like the efficiency in end-to-end event management with Cvent Event Marketing & Management. Juggling a ton of projects makes anything that streamlines a big help, and being able to use templates for recurring events and see reports easily is so helpful.

User friendliness and onboarding support. We had three new team members join this year and the onboarding and learnings provided by Cvent were awful. I still need to do everything for onboarding and teaching new users because the support team is not helpful with onboarding.

I'm particularly excited for some of the new features coming out that will make website building easier and prettier as well as registration faster for group registration. I like how much easier uploading speakers is, as I know how hard it could be in past software. The theme building for the website builder will save me hours of time and ensure a cohesive and consistent look for my clients' conferences. Group registration has always been a pain, but this will allow registrants to do the registration without multiple emails and our staff spending hours to input them. Although setup comes with a lot to learn, especially with the new AI, I have a great team of CVENTers with me, which is beneficial.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The website builder, while drag-and-drop, can feel clunky, and it's tough to achieve the polished look of the example templates. There's a limitation on video and embed sizes, making it impractical for larger video content, and I'm not sure if the builder ensures ADA/WCAG compliance, which is a concern. Additionally, there's a lot to learn with the new AI features, and while seemingly easy at first, there are many nuances in the software.

We have challenges with the budget module regarding currency output and a need for offline transaction upload. When there are glitches, it adds time to our workflow rather than saving time. We have not resolved our currency issues and have been working through consistent challenges with the upload.

We like that it can handle registration, event websites, attendee communications, reporting, and on-site management without needing a patchwork of separate tools. Cvent’s biggest downside is pricing. ecause Cvent offers such a broad set of features, the interface can still feel complex and occasionally overwhelming for new users. Navigation between modules and understanding where certain functions live can take time to learn. **What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I find Cvent Event Marketing & Management to be the most complete platform I've used; it really helps in delivering what I need or finding workarounds when necessary. The reporting feature is very complete, allowing me to create diagrams, display specific information, and filter to view exactly what I need. Once familiar with it, managing attendees is extremely easy. The marketing and communication tools are fantastic, offering numerous options for tracking and reporting, all in one place. Additionally, the help from the Cvent team and their training made the initial setup better despite the platform's complexity. I also like the integrations with Salesforce and Swapcard.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

There are always areas of improvement; I think visibility of groups, specific filters, and codes need to be improved across the platform, like audience segments. Sometimes you imagine how easy something will be to filter or find, and it turns out that the availability of fields isn't there. Just making sure that the fields are there, for example, you can't create an audience segment based on payments, like if someone has an amount due, or paid for a ticket, only by specific admission items. It feels like it doesn't cover the full length of what this can actually achieve. If you run simple events everything is well, but the minute you become a little more complex, you start to see and wish you could have the ease of using more of these filters.

**What do you like best about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

The ease of use of Cvent’s built-in AI features. Also the clean format that Cvent provides within the web designer.

**What do you dislike about Cvent Event Marketing & Management?**

I dislike that the website logs me out after a short amount of time that I’m using it. Also some formatting options are limited.

**What problems is Cvent Event Marketing & Management solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Building a clean Contact book for all of our reoccurring clients and invitees.
