One of the best areas of VidCruiter is the amount of support you receieve from the dedicated IT Specialists and a team at VidCruiter. The VidCruiter team works very closely with you to ensure your services are met on the platform, user friendly and all of your requirements are ticked off as a business. The implementation was very fast and easy and I love using the templates we set up, I can create a new job or link within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only difficult thing is getting candidates to use it, we have a very low participation rate which can be good to screen out those who arent committed/interested enough to do it. Overall candidates definitely feel uncomfortable talking to a computer, do not like the idea of an automated interview and have some difficulty with the technology and do not complete it. I think that would be the case with any company. The only thing that is hard as a candidate is using the app you need to toggle back and forth between the app and the email invite. It does take some time to create the templates so it would be time intensive if you planned to use different questions/ templates for every job posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility of VidCruiter's platform allowed the hiring manager to edit any content for each step of the recruitment process. You can tailor an exam to the specific requirement of your process. It's possible to review and assess the exams any time of the day or night, which gives considerable flexibility in terms of workload planning. At the interview stage, it was evident that candidates felt more at ease recording their answers on their own time and without the usual (and often intimidating) evaluation committee. And, throughout, the instructions are easy to follow. The references part of the process was a charm, as we knew when each candidate contacted their referees and when each referee uploaded their references. Thanks to their professional, dedicated, and very knowledgeable staff, VidCruiter helped us stay on track every step of the way and stick to the timetable of our critical path. How customisable the platform is making it great for any role or brand. You can ask a range of question types and use multi-media to enhance the candidate experience, for example by having videos of the company team asking the question and therefore making it more personable
We are also able to integrate Vidcruiter into our ATS making our workflows and processing of candidates much more efficient.

An unlimited subscription model would be good rather than pay per video, and the usability can be confusing, but this is expected with a platform that is so customisable. However the vidcruiter support team are always on hand to provide clear and swift support where needed. The pay per model video also means you lose any inventory you havent used at the end of the year, and I think this should be more flexible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
