What do you like best about VidCruiter?

One of the best areas of VidCruiter is the amount of support you receieve from the dedicated IT Specialists and a team at VidCruiter. The VidCruiter team works very closely with you to ensure your services are met on the platform, user friendly and all of your requirements are ticked off as a business. What do you dislike about VidCruiter?

We are coming up to a year using VidCruiter and there is nothing negative we could mention about VidCruiter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?

Employers who are seeking to take applicants can not only see the applicants CV and Applications, but they can now see the applicant's Video Interview Responses (VIR) this feature allows employers to see who has prepared best from the video interviews, who is reading off a sheet/screen and those who have rehearsed beforehand. It also allows employers to know how confident an applicant may be and if they could be a good fit for their workplace while being able to read the body language of the applicant too. What do you like best about VidCruiter?

The implementation was very fast and easy and I love using the templates we set up, I can create a new job or link within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VidCruiter?

The only difficult thing is getting candidates to use it, we have a very low participation rate which can be good to screen out those who arent committed/interested enough to do it. Overall candidates definitely feel uncomfortable talking to a computer, do not like the idea of an automated interview and have some difficulty with the technology and do not complete it. I think that would be the case with any company. The only thing that is hard as a candidate is using the app you need to toggle back and forth between the app and the email invite. It does take some time to create the templates so it would be time intensive if you planned to use different questions/ templates for every job posting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:

This should have everything you need. The only issue is with the app on the user side. The integration with UKG is also not feasible and we cannot use it , we have to send all invites to candidates manually. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have saved time on entry level positions to screen out people who weren't a good fit in the on-demand interviews.It saves our hiring managers time and lets them review many candidates at once and helps us to learn how tech saavy candidates are and how committed they are to getting the position. What do you like best about VidCruiter?

The flexibility of VidCruiter's platform allowed the hiring manager to edit any content for each step of the recruitment process. You can tailor an exam to the specific requirement of your process. It's possible to review and assess the exams any time of the day or night, which gives considerable flexibility in terms of workload planning. At the interview stage, it was evident that candidates felt more at ease recording their answers on their own time and without the usual (and often intimidating) evaluation committee. And, throughout, the instructions are easy to follow. The references part of the process was a charm, as we knew when each candidate contacted their referees and when each referee uploaded their references. Thanks to their professional, dedicated, and very knowledgeable staff, VidCruiter helped us stay on track every step of the way and stick to the timetable of our critical path. From publishing the recruitment poster on Jobs.gc.ca to informing all successful candidates, we completed this recruitment process within six months. :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VidCruiter?

Navigation is my biggest struggle. Admittedly I could benefit from more practice, but it's hard for me to find the videos sometimes and I feel like more could be done to simplify navigation on the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VidCruiter?

How customisable the platform is making it great for any role or brand. You can ask a range of question types and use multi-media to enhance the candidate experience, for example by having videos of the company team asking the question and therefore making it more personable

We are also able to integrate Vidcruiter into our ATS making our workflows and processing of candidates much more efficient.

The support is also excellent meaning our candidates experience an excellent service if they encounter any issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VidCruiter?

An unlimited subscription model would be good rather than pay per video, and the usability can be confusing, but this is expected with a platform that is so customisable. However the vidcruiter support team are always on hand to provide clear and swift support where needed. The pay per model video also means you lose any inventory you havent used at the end of the year, and I think this should be more flexible Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:

Make the most of the support team to ensure you are able to make the most of the platform itself. Some of it can be confusing to find or set up so you could end up with just the basic functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
