I used it for multiple interviews at investment banks in nyc (internships and full time jobs). I love how easy it is to see yourself, record practice runs, and the functionality is seamless when it comes to voice.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

HireVue is generally user-friendly, both for recruiters and candidates. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to set up interviews and review responses. Most candidates can navigate the system without needing much guidance.
The implementation process was relatively smooth. Customer support has been responsive and helpful.
We use HireVue regularly, especially during high-volume hiring periods.
HireVue offers a strong set of features — from on-demand video interviews to structured rating guides and AI-enabled assessments.
Integration with our ATS and other tools (like scheduling platforms) was fairly straightforward.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

While HireVue offers great convenience and efficiency, one downside is that the platform can feel impersonal to candidates, especially in one-way video interviews. Some candidates may struggle to express themselves without real-time interaction, which could impact their performance.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HireVue helps us overcome scheduling conflicts, maintain consistency in early-stage interviews, and efficiently handle high application volumes. It speeds up our process, supports remote hiring, and improves collaboration among hiring teams—all of which lead to better, faster hiring decisions.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

HireVue is at a point where we, as customers, can customize based on our needs and goals, and there are now multiple ways to solution! HireVue's teams have been very successful, from implementation to hypercare and continued support. HireVue is a valued partner that leverages its expertise to help us inform and drive our initiatives internally! The team is always open to platform enhancements and always willing to collaborate/brainstorm ideas to meet our objectives (if the technology cannot at the moment)

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

As a platform that is supposed to drive automation with scheduling, significant enhancements could make it easier to adapt to changes and be flexible. Examples: What does a hybrid interview look like if you have both on-site participants and virtual participants? Why can't you archive a req and candidates but have the candidate in play for other roles? There should be a way to archive candidates for a req only vs archiving them from the system. Also, we have heard a ton of noise around audio challenges with your platform and issues with the video platform for interviewing. We use Call Candidate now and also have Webex integrated, but that was a significant challenge for our leaders adopting the technology.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

HireVue is helping our organization drive towards a skills based hiring. HireVue is also allowing us to remove unconscious bias and drive constiencey through out the interview process. The pure time HireVue allows the recruiter to save is huge as well just by using their automation!

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

the ease in inviting candidates to self-schedule their interview!

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

The lack of ability to request candidates to reschedule ther interview (so I don't have to do it manually).  The fact that the Reminder email doesn't have the Reschedule option included (to make it even easier for candidates to find).  The fact that when creating an Event can't have multiple Interviewers and Use One Calendar b/c it actually keeps synching to their Outlook calendar.  I would prefer this over using a Placeholder, so that the candidate would actually receive the names of the Interviews instead of TBD (it's not the best experience for our candidates).  The fact that Message Center doesn't have an option to search for a Candidate's messages by name (instead of having to search by email address).

I like the ease of use with how you can schedule screens, the newer enhanced ability to be in control of managing user calender availability, the chages that T20 has brought to the platform from being a previous Modern Hire user.

HireVue does not have the ability for admins to add in breaks when there are multiple back to back interviews which causing the team not to be able to set up the more complex interviews

Allowing candidates to schedule with both recruiters and interviewers eliminating the constant back and forward that comes with manual scheduling.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

This platform is very user friendly both on the talent acquisition side and the side of the employee. It makes response time significantly quicker as we adapt to the needs of the candidates. HireVue syncs seamlessly with my calendar, response time from support is wonderful, and it makes me much more productive with the time I spend doing my work.

There are sometimes glitches with the calls that go through HireVue and I wish the integration with our ATS automatically pulled resumes.

HireVue has allowed us to guide our hiring leaders to eliminate 'gut decisions' when vetting candidates as we can reference data and information related specifically to the skills necssary to succeed in a given role. We're afforded the ability to make diverse hires vs cycling through the same, homogenous talent.

The scheduling functionality could use improvements, especially related to integrations with Webex.

HireVue solve the problem of unconcious biases being incorporated into various stages of our process, specifically when our hiring partners tend to favor referrals and individuals from within our industry, exclusively.

HireVue has given us valuable insight into candidates before we even get to meet them. Candidates can apply in the comforts of their own home at times that are convenient for them!

There are people that do not like to put themselves out there on video and we have had people who would be great at a position not complete their application for this reason.

HireVue has saved our recruiters hours on the phone playing tag with candidates. We are able to send candidate links to schedule their own interview in open blocks of time on our recruiter's  schedule.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

We started using HireVue last year & what we liked about its user-friendly interface, it was effortless to set up the interview with the candidates all with one touch. We were also able to pre-record interview questions using HireVue.
So far it has been a great experience, and we have consistently received positive feedback from the candidates.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Sometimes we interview candidates who are located in remote areas and doesn't have strong internet connectivity, in that case HireVue video quality suffers a lot, it all becomes very blur. Also there are some scenarios where the candidate can't do video interview at that particular time and Hirevue can't be used in those scenarios, otherwise it is all a positive experience with HireVue.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted to automate our candidate interviewing and assessment process especially when so many of our candidates were operating remotely. Hirevue helped us to achieve our goals where we can schedule an interview with a candidate working remotely, we can do initial assessment and then we can video interview the candidate, it is like being in the same room as the candidate.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

By doing interviews online rather than in person, I can conduct more interviews in less time using Hirevue. One of the most significant advantages of virtual interviews is the schedule flexibility and availability of interview participants to connect into interviewing. It being said, mostly virtual strategy works effectively for roles with several rounds of interviews. If you did not know, recorded Interviews may be examined on your own time by additional team members or utilized for training reasons by new hiring managers and recruiters.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

I couldn't think of any times when I disliked Hirevue, but I can think of times when Hirevue was useless in our usage.

Yes, virtual interviews are beneficial. But we do not use HireVue to fill all job positions in our company. For some positions, we like to interview candidates in person and assess their social skills. In-person interviews, on the other hand, provide a higher level of engagement.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We began utilizing Hirevue as a virtual interviewing tool when covid-19 was started. As the head of human resources, I can say that hiring is a challenging task if the appropriate tools are not applied.

We save a lot of money on travel expenses for our international employees by using Hirevue. We raised the number of staff from 50 each month to 80 per month. That is how we benefit from HireVue.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

I discovered the most effective video interviewing service- Montage- by using several others. While other service providers offer significant discounts, only Montage provides services that match the savings. With excellent proactive instead of reactive customer service-, which wowed me and kept the promise, I greatly enjoy using this company's product. Constantly enquiring how its products are performing with consumers and if they fail to meet expectations in any way, staff take the initiative to provide answers; It didn't look like this decision was left up to the client with other video companies we've used. We frequently meet for performance discussions, acceptance rates, and optimization (as opposed t just collaborating) -it's a mutually beneficial relationship with built-in safeguards that ensure output satisfaction.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Very few things can be seen as unfavorable regarding Modern Hire. The positive aspects of the company significantly outweigh any negatives. Some applicants may feel uncomfortable being videotaped, but this is a minor concern compared to all of the positives that Modern Hire offers. Because we use video technology daily and hold meetings via Google Hangout, we need people comfortable with cameras.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Modern Hire Montage has led to resolving numerous issues relating to applicant interviews. Before, many problems caused a negative experience for both the interviewer and the interviewee. However, this new hire method has improved and made interviewing more positive overall.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

What I like best about modern hire is the speed with which you can set up video interviews. Candidates can be added to the system, and an interview can be organized with minimal effort. It's also great to return to a candidate's profile for additional video interviews if necessary. This eliminates the need for additional steps after the scheduled initial consultation. The ease of use and accessibility of information are both big positives, in my opinion.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

I wouldn't say I like that in modern society, people are so quick to judge others based on their appearance. I also worry that potential employers often use television to screen candidates. This puts a lot of pressure on applicants and can make them very anxious. Some improvements could be made to the whole process to make it fairer and stress-free for everyone involved.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The modern hire is a problem because the hiring process is now expedited. With so many applications from outside the area, it isn't easy to fill the position promptly. Virtual interviews are an option, but they sometimes give you the best idea of who the person is.

The modern hiring process is simple to understand and use. It helps me meet my intended purpose well, and I appreciate the website's user-friendliness. The best part of talking with applicants via email is being able to include anyone I want in the conversation. And I discovered how easy it was to call in and participate by video or voice. Candidates have praised the platform for its convenience, especially when conducting phone or video interviews.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

I prefer having an open slot to conduct impromptu chats with prospects, but I wish a function would let me send them a LinkedIn link. It isn't enjoyable having to jump through hoops to submit a link before it can be accepted. If I've cold-recruited someone and they're not interested, I don't need to complete all this paperwork so we can talk.

ModernHire presents a problem for employers because it allows candidates to learn more about the company and position before they come in for an interview. This can lead to wasted time and money on unnecessary phone interviews.

What I like best about Modern Hire is the ease of navigation and the effortless process. I also appreciate including anyone in the interview process on an email thread, as well as positive and negative communications. Additionally, it's great that you can join a video chat by simply dialing in or opt-out of using video and participate through a phone call instead. From what I've gathered, most candidates enjoy how intuitive the platform is and find it fun to be interviewed on television.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

I'd rather have an open slot available for prospects to arrange an appointment or impromptu chats. However, I would like to have a function that would allow me to send them a link via Linkedin. Before a link submission can be accepted, there are several hoops to jump through, which is annoying.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In reality, we may conduct multiple interviews with possible applicants on this website. These taped interviews will be utilized in the future as a valuable resource. Such as evaluating and rechecking the questions asked and the responses provided by applicants.

The launch of the partnership, as well as the ongoing training and support, have brought me joy. What I like best about Modern Hire is that they did a fantastic job guiding us through the sales process and providing us with pertinent references and return on investment (ROI) data to support our case. They have responded quickly and are capable of identifying and resolving problems encountered by internal employees and prospective candidates.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Even though I've been trained in Montage, I still have to create spreadsheets to present the information to my superiors. I wouldn't say I like how some applications have user interfaces and social features that irritate me. It would be better if there were a way to provide information about multiple candidates to a hiring manager more streamlined way.

Our business and Montage have never conflicted. We utilize a combination of live and on-demand interviews to accommodate our diverse applicant pool.

There are a few things that I like about modern hire. First of all, it is very functional and easy to use. Secondly, the website is also incredibly straightforward. I appreciate including anyone I choose in the email chain with the candidate and myself. Finally, I understand how easy it is to dial in and join the conversation via voice or video. Candidates generally appreciate the platform's user-friendliness and report enjoying video and phone interviews.

I'm not a big fan of the way you have to go about scheduling interviews in Modern Hire. I think it would be much easier if you could send potential candidates a LinkedIn link so they can schedule themselves. Also, I wouldn't say I like filling out such a detailed form to talk to someone I'm prospecting.

When we work with Modern Hire, we feel like we're their only client. You can always count on the Modern Hire team to provide helpful answers to your product-related questions. Furthermore, they provide excellent communication with our potential hires. The video and voice features of the platform facilitate communication with candidates and speed up the hiring process. The product's user interface is simple to use.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Unfortunately, neither Taleo nor SkillSurvey are synced with Modern Hire. Our infrastructure has yet to evolve to handle this. Our recruiters must frequently switch between programs. The help desk staff has provided us with solutions to these problems.

We've been using Modern Hire for a while now, and the hiring managers at our company love it. We can find more qualified candidates in a much shorter period and our communication with new hires has been improved.

Sending and personalizing one-way interview invitations and tracking who has completed or accepted interviews is effortless. It's simple to determine which applicants are worth inviting for a personal interview with ModernHire. They have a powerful filtering/tagging system that makes finding particular individuals or interviews simple. It is possible to carry out mass actions such as invitations and declines. We're always searching for new ways to optimize the content and make it much more relevant to our business.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Because we don't use features like sending .pdf/videos to candidates, I won't comment on their functionality. Keeping track of your invitations after you've sent them can be difficult unless you search for them individually by name or some other identifier. Our company sees a lot of value in implementing ModernHire.

We've discovered that using ModernHire allows us to skip preliminary phone interviews and get a better sense of potential hires before meeting them in person. We have noticed an increase in comprehensive candidates due to the trend of mass applicants ignoring our one-way invitations.

We appreciate Modern Montage's flexibility in accommodating our various interviewing needs. The on-demand functions, live video capabilities, and scheduling tools have been hugely helpful in allowing us to spend less time arranging interviews and more time reviewing applications. Customer service has also been excellent in assisting with a smooth pre-launch phase and beyond - we're finding it an invaluable tool for talent acquisition team members and hiring managers alike.

There are no disadvantages to modern that outweigh the benefits. The only potential drawback is that some prospective candidates may still be reluctant to be recorded, but this is the only potential drawback. We are a company that relies heavily on video technology, using Google hangout; therefore, we require employees who are comfortable with cameras.

Modern Hiring System can help us to streamline our internal hiring process by allowing employees to arrange their interviews. I find the one-way interview reminder features especially useful in this regard.

ModernHire is an exceptional HR software highly adaptable to our specific requirements. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to navigate between video presentations. It helps conduct multiple interviews simultaneously and includes phone functions for continuous communication. The help desk staff was knowledgeable and helpful enough to resolve problems remotely. Using ModernHire to schedule interviews and manage the remainder of the hiring process is a breeze in general.

I have not encountered any issues with ModernHire thus far; many of our candidates valued the tool and provided positive feedback, so I guess not only the recruiter/HR manager perspective is top-notch.

**What problems is HireVue solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ModernHire's ease of use and capacity to facilitate daily interview scheduling make it a valuable resource for us. It resolved problems with the candidate's ability to self-schedule and speed in responding to preliminary questions. They are not always in real-time, so if you make a mistake, you can rerecord it.

It is not the best platform to use for recruiting talent. If one can spend a half hour reviewing recorded content, that half hour is better spent with a live video interview using Zoom or Teams to get a better gauge of the quality of the talent being recruited.

Convenience. However the convenience is trumped by the ability to get a feel fo the talent. A recorded video does not work well for me.

The user interface is simple. We have access to the candidates' profiles at every stage of the hiring process. Candidates can self-schedule their interviews using our availability calendar to select available time slots. Video interviews are increasingly being used in the hiring process. It simplifies meeting scheduling by sending invitations with a link to attendees' Calendars. It has streamlined our hiring processes and saved us significant time.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

To begin, I recommend redesigning the confirmation emails. Unfortunately, you can only make limited changes to the incoming templates before they are locked in. More importantly, Modern Hire is expensive.

Candidates' interviews can be scheduled and managed, with media and candidates actively involved. This software has improved our ability to find new employees more efficiently.

**What do you like best about HireVue?**

The vast majority of participants appreciate the platform's user-friendliness and express delight at the opportunity to participate via video or phone. The website works well and is simple to navigate. I understand that the emails go to the interviewee, the interviewer, and me. I like how simple it is to call in and join the video conversation or how I can choose to make a voice call instead. In either case, I look forward to reading the emails I receive.

**What do you dislike about HireVue?**

Inviting participants and pressing the "automatic record" button does not automatically record the interview. When we need to go back over the information our candidates have provided or do some internal quality control to ensure we're asking the right questions and giving the correct answers, the record feature can be incredibly unreliable. Sometimes it's hard to get into the discussion board, too. Whenever I call the room, it goes through twice or thrice before I can access it.

The site allows us to conduct multiple interviews with prospective employees at once. The recorded conversations are easily retrievable for future reference. For example, we might review the interview questions and candidate responses.

HireVue was so easy to implement and immediately simplified the entire interview process for us. The amount of time saved in scheduling phone screens back and forth as well as doing the interviews themselves has been amazing. The candidate can answer at a good time for them and we made an immediate hire upon implementing.

There isn't anything to dislike about the system. It's been so helpful. I highly recommend to anyone.

The implementation team is amazing and tell you exactly what you need to do. You can implement as quickly or slowly as you need around your workload. It helps to have your logos, brand videos, hex colors and other branding together to speed up the process.

Modern Hire allows us to automate a good portion of the front end of our recruiting process. It helps with being able to house the pre-screen and scheduling in the same tool.

I think that with creating events it can be a little complicated but they do have a good training library to help you do it properly which is appreciated. Make it slightly more user friendly.
