I love that I can send cadidates virtual pre-screen interviews as this saves so much time in bulk hiring, i like that I can look back at their pre-screens in the future, the redo question feature is great as well. When sending references I like that it flags them if they have the same device/IP, that references can input their information via email instead of having to call them, the history option where it shows if emails have been opened as well. I wish we could customize emails sent out to candidates to look more like our company's brand example: colours, templates, ect. so candidates know exactly why they are recieving this email, we send out emails letting them know but this could help with response rate as sometimes response rate on these can be low. Instead of making look like its from vidcruiter make it look like its from the company themselves.
Sometimes in pre-screens where candidates are recording themselves it does not always work properly. Would be great if it was easier for candidates do this on their mobile devices/tablets as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform is very user-friendly for recruiters and candidates alike. Once you know your way around the system it saves a lot of time and effort. The customer representatives are always so prompt and helpful, its always a pleasure to work with them. The seamless integration with our CRM also helps save time when adding rating users. One of the most frustrating things about high volume recruiting is when candidates schedule interviews but don't show up. Time is wasted reviewing resumés and applications in preparation for those interviews and it cuts into your day. We hire more than 400 seasonal employees each year, consisting mostly of College and University students. VidCruiter allows us to meet our candidates on their time, not ours. Any candidates that partake in the interview process are doing so because they want the job, no more "no shows". The implementation team was fantastic to work with, making the software easy to use and understand, they ensured we were completely comfortable with it before we launched our recruiting campaign live to the public. Everyone has been very responsive to queries and solutions come quickly. One of the most beneficial features of VidCruiter for our organization is the applicant driven reference check system. This extra layer of scrutiny is very difficult to achieve when recruiting on a mass scale, it takes many hours to complete. The applicant driven reference check system cuts down on those hours immensely. Another great feature is the automation in notification emails, which provides fewer manual touchpoints, saving our recruiting team countless hours in communicating with candidates. If there was a downside to using VidCruiter, it would have to be that we're removing some of the human element to the interview process. In a live interview, you can ask a candidate to expand on topics, but you lose this opportunity with pre-recorded interviews. You have to be very intentional in the way you ask a pre-recorded interview question, how will it be interpreted by the candidate? Will it give us enough information to make a decision on whether to hire that individual or not? One of the nice features of VidCruiter is the ability to use videos in the interview questions. Our staff recorded the interview questions to put a bit of that human element back into the process, providing the candidate an opportunity to see the people they will be working with and getting a taste of the work culture. Some things still seem clunky in the scheduling platform, such as the ability to set specific days of availability for an interview round. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the help of VidCruiter, I was able to successfully run 7 processes in 2 years. Using VidCruiter has improved the quality of our processes significantly. The tools they provide allow us to easily track and assess each candidate. It’s very easy to go from one phase to another and back again. Searching for candidate files is very easy and takes but seconds.
We are now able to process large collective processes within 5 months (from the time screening starts to the pool being established – incl. testing and interviews). Being able to shorten the timeframe without it affecting the quality in a negative way, has allowed us to do more in less time.
The VidCruiter team that was assigned to us has been wonderful since day 1. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond. The best part is that we have been working with the same team for over 2 years! This gave us an opportunity to build a strong working relationship. Our assigned VidCruiter team is also very engaged. They hold meetings with various shareholders within our department so we can get together and learn from each other. They don’t just provide advice, guidance and suggestions to us, they also listen to our suggestions. When we have a good suggestion, they always look into implementing it.
The VidCruiter help desk is also extremely helpful. My team contacts then on a regular basis with various questions. They help to resolve quick issues and they also aid in guiding when we are unsure on how to complete various tasks. They always answer within 5 minutes, and they are always very knowledgeable and helpful. They are also very helpful with our clients.
