Trados Studio Pricing Overview

After many years of use, I can say that I could not work without Trados Studio. The feature-rich interface and fast project creation speeds up work enormously, helps maintain consistency throughout the text, allows you to use multiple translation memories and glossaries at the same time, and performs quality control by which the translation turns out flawlessly. Personally, I use it for all my translations, both because the translation agencies I work with require it and because I prefer to use it even when I don't have to, since it is very convenient and speeds up the work. Trados creates more problems than what it is useful for. A lot of times there is something that doesn't work. Or when you did your whole task and when you try and export your file, it gives an error. Error messages most of the times serve no purposes. Some of the procedures are the same from the early 00s, thus severely outdated. Moreover, the software is terribly expansive. Nowadays software tends to cost much less and/or come with a monthly subscription. It would be much better for the final user to have a €9,99 monthly subscription.
