Using GlobalLink has increased the quality of our translations in the sence that we now work with a set of common Translation Memories that all our staff working with translations benefit from. The result is a more professional language across different sources and files using the same terminology.
I appreciate the support we have received both from the Transperfect technical team through the setting up of our Inriver connector as well as the PM team at Semantix answering multiple questions covering all areas of working with both the translations and the platforms involved. Great for enterprise users with large use cases and 1000s of requests, as well as those within the business with ad hoc needs who only need to occasionally use the platform with more entry level iterations of the product that you can grow from over time.
Well thought out UI design and different user journeys based on your specific user roles to enable anything from an easy self service request to more complex workflows leveraging multiple vendors and steps in the process where each step is captured as a data point that can be reported on to allow ongoing refinement of an enterprise solution.
You can easily translate any type of material - be it videos, websites, and documents, with critical visual context, getting AI power assistance through the process with the ability to easily add human in the loop translation, editing or review as needed to enable continued learned by the system.
Numerous out of the box connectors to most common CMS, PIM, CRM platforms etc, including the latest headless platforms disrupting the market, and and easy to implement given how robust the connectors are at this point.
Few different customer service options ranging from a new help centre with easy bite sized videos, to more standardized ticket support and dedicated account teams we can really speak to.

Ability to integrate with or connect to other business platforms, which reduce the manual repetitive work and increase productivity;

Would expect more features to be added, such as GenAI integration, track-changes features, parallel review features, AI solution and dedicated workflow for dead image translations, automatic due date setting as per predefined rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
GlobalLink is very user-friendly. Buttons are easy to find and it's easy to set up your account. The account team is also great and meets with us biweekly to discuss any ongoing issues. We use the site several times a day and have set up templates for our different market needs. It was a mostly seamless process to become integrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We would like more customization of the templates - ex., we want to set up deadlines for X number of business days per template, but we are forced to select a specific date every time we create a project. Some of the languages are not intuitive.
When translations are complete, we receive automatic email notifications per language. We would like this to be customizable so that we get one comprehensive email once it is final rather than an email for every language -- this feels messy and "noisy." The link to access the project also takes us to the "old" site and not to the specific project, so it's a pain to go back to the new site to access the project.
There are many features you can only access by toggling to the old site - it would be nice to be able to access these in the new site as well, even if that means tucking them behind action buttons.
We used TransPort before moving to GlobalLink and loved the chat feature. We would love to see this reintegrated into GlobalLink as well.
It would be great to be able to add other miscellaneous documents (such as internal emails) to GlobalLink as well per project. These would not go to the linguists, it would just be for our reference in case we have an issue in the future and need to review the history of the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My company is very interested in incorporating AI into our process and from what I have seen in the last 2 days, I believe that Globallink would be the right choice to help my department achieve that goal. I attended the conference last year before AI was brought into the conversation, and this year solidified my choice. Further discussions will be had to move forward.
