## Lokalise Reviews
  ### 1. Intuitive AI-Powered Translation, Highly Recommended

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Roberto C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2023

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I would say the user interface of Lokalise is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. It allows for quick work, which I find really helpful. It's working pretty nicely for my translation projects because I have lots of options from AI, enabling me to select the most accurate translation and adjust it relatively quickly, which allows me to get a lot of work done in a short time. I'm very happy with the choice to use this tool because it works for me. Also, setting up Lokalise was very easy as I was given access to a library, and I can log in without a problem.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes the AI is lacking context. But I'm not a 100% sure that this can be improved. But that is basically the main obstacle. So some of the words that are suggested are not exactly relevant for the field that I am translating about.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise provides many AI options for translation, allowing me to select accurate translations and adjust quickly, so I can do a lot of work in a short time.

  ### 2. Smooth, easy to use, great to scale and to adapt

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristina S. | Senior XD Ops Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 02, 2023

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It's one of the most usable, with a low entry bar and versatile tools we use - there is always a way to adapt to our ever changing processes, and integrate with whichever tool we find ourselves using. we've never experienced any performance issues and the AI translation services built-in are fundamental to our operations now, as they've held up to extensive testing. If there's ever any trouble, everyone you interact with is very supportive and knowledgable. Worth the price tag.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

No need to nitpick here. If there's ever anything subpar, there's always someone ready to jump on it

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's making managing our translation and localisation needs a smooth, automated and straight forward process.

  ### 3. User-Friendly, Fast, and Reliable Translation Support for Years

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dóra Z. | LLM Trainer, AI Training Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is a very user-friendly, fast, and reliable translation tool that I can access free of charge. I can register for Lokalise using my Google account, which makes getting started simple. I can also quickly search for terms in the Termbase; it shows previous matches and includes a built-in MT feature. Overall, it has been a great support for me for many years.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Spelling and grammar error detection isn’t available yet in my native language. Also, trailing whitespace isn’t flagged in the translation.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It speeds up translation thanks to its easy-to-access tools, like the Termbase, MT suggestions, and translation memory. I also really like the “Show source difference since it was last translated” feature—it’s great for quickly spotting what has changed.

  ### 4. AI-Powered Translation Management with Swift Setup

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nathan S. | Product Manager, Hospitality, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I find Lokalise super quick to ingest CSVs with strings, which makes it easier to see where the approval process is at when it's submitted to another team member. I really like the ability for Lokalise to tell me the confidence level it has in an AI translation. This feature removes the need for manual reviews when we feel confident it's pulling from a corpus of approved translation strings and learning more via AI. Additionally, the customer success team at Lokalise made it a breeze to set up, even helping us establish a proof of concept before making architectural decisions.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It's challenging for us to know when a task should be handed off from one member of the team to the other. Our workaround is a direct @mention of a user in a comment thread when it would be better to have a notification mechanism and assignment ability between users within a permissions group in a project.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise reduces translation costs by bringing processes in-house and leveraging AI. It helps spread content across platforms with multilingual needs and quickly ingests CSVs. It also shows approval statuses and AI translation confidence, minimizing manual reviews.

  ### 5. Unlocks our communications at scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Besides the fact that allows us to build campaigns at scale, their customer support is top notch. When used extensively it can eventually become a complex product to operate, but Lokalise's team are always available to sort any issues out.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The way we operate, it is relatively easy to 'break' all the translations for a given language whenever there is an error in a single key. Every now and then, we experienced some hiccups that were unpleasant for the end customer experience. However, the Lokalise support team were always quick to help correct it.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is key in allowing us to build CRM campaigns at scale. We do have Lokalise integrated with Braze and by building communications using Lokalise keys, we make sure every customer receives communications in their preferred language. We just need to build 1 template and, upon send, each customer will receive the 'same' email, but translated into their selected language.

  ### 6. Easy localization and an app with a heart

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olimpia B. | Product manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It’s very easy to get started: you can add translations or localizations, view your target languages side by side, and make sure you’re capturing the right tone.

I’ve only had a customer concern once, and they replied so quickly.

Overall, I also love the vibe of this tool. Claire’s newsletter is great, and the occasional webinars I’ve attended were a big plus too :)

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I was a bit disheartened a few months ago when we changed our plan because ours was being phased out. We ended up losing some features I didn’t expect to lose (such as the glossary) since we were downgrading. I would have really appreciated a heads-up so I could at least save it beforehand.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s helping us add new languages to our product so we can put it in the hands of users across different countries in Europe, while still making the app sound like us in each language.

  ### 7. Streamlined Translations with Room for Glossary Improvement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Devices | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 02, 2024

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like Lokalise for its high usability and self-explanatory interface. The many integrations and automations are also helpful, allowing for easy communication and data transfer between systems and tools like Figma and GitHub. This makes for smooth cross-functional work. I appreciate the organized and structured handling of text assets, particularly UI strings, and the fast turnaround time for translations. The enriched context through Figma integration with screenshots contributes to higher quality results. Additionally, I value the computer-assisted translation, including machine translation with DeepL, and the use of translation memory.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I find the glossary handling in Lokalise a bit lacking. The glossary and terminology management options are very limited in functionality. There's no way to check if the right terminology was used in a specific key. I think having a term check that scans the source text for terms from the glossary and ensures the corresponding translation has been used in the target text would be really helpful.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise provides organized handling of digital text assets, fast turnaround for translations, enriched context with Figma integration, and machine translation with DeepL.

  ### 8. Huge Time-Saver with Same-Format Exports

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matthew M. | Senior Product Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

The absolute most helpful thing about Lokalise is the ability to export in the same format that you upload. This saves so much time on copying and repasting data elsewhere.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Within the .xlxs uploads, the need to reformat your spreadsheet into a two column document and lack of an in app feature that does so for you is a big head ache. The majority of our time, the content of our spreadsheets spans multiple columns.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have lost our bilingual copywriter and so we need a consistent way across our business units to pull together translations aligned with our brand.

  ### 9. Intuitive, Scalable Localization That Streamlined Our Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

As someone who had never used localization software before, I was genuinely surprised by how intuitive Lokalise was from the start. Previously, all my workflows lived in spreadsheets, which quickly became messy and time-consuming to maintain.

Since switching to Lokalise, my entire process has become faster and far more organized. I rely heavily on the project dashboard, the key-based structure, and the search and filter tools. These make it easy to keep translations and UX copy structured and consistent. Sending strings to our translation team through tasks has been a major improvement. It is now a simple and streamlined step instead of a manual back and forth.

One unexpected benefit has been how much easier it is to maintain our UX copy through Lokalise. Lokalise’s clear interface and collaboration features mean nothing gets lost, repeated, or overwritten. It has also helped me catch inconsistencies in wording that I never would have spotted when everything lived in spreadsheets.

Overall, Lokalise has been a major quality of life upgrade. It has not only sped up my workflow. It has made the entire localization process feel cleaner, clearer, and much more scalable.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I have not come across any major downsides so far. The only limitation I have noticed relates to the Intercom integration. Intercom supports multiple help centres, but Lokalise does not currently allow you to filter content by help centre. This can make it a bit confusing when trying to manage or locate specific articles. It is possible that this limitation comes from the Intercom API itself, but from a user perspective it still creates some friction.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise has solved several issues that I used to run into when managing translations through spreadsheets. It has replaced a very manual system that was slow, messy, and difficult to keep consistent. Now everything is organised in one place, which makes it much easier to maintain structure across all translations and UX copy.

The platform has also improved the way I collaborate with our translation team. Sending content for translation is now a simple step instead of a long back and forth. This has sped up my workflow and reduced the chance of missing or duplicated strings.

Another major benefit is being able to review our core UX copy. Lokalise makes it much easier to avoid outdated or inconsistent text, which was a common problem when everything lived in spreadsheets. I can quickly search, filter, and review content, which saves a lot of time and helps keep the product copy more consistent.

Overall, Lokalise has made my workflow faster, clearer, and much more scalable.

  ### 10. Streamlines Multilingual App Maintenance with Effective AI Suggestions

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter G. | Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I use Lokalise to assist our copywriters with translating our app, and it helps in writing the best texts by allowing me to compare them with other languages. I like that Lokalise makes it easy to maintain an app with multiple languages. I'm pleased that there's a tool that serves this purpose. I also appreciate the good AI suggestions for my language, which I can rely on whenever I need to come up with a translation, as they provide help based on what we've previously written. Establishing a new branch of our app in Lokalise was straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Uploading screenshots is a hurdle. Copywriters need images to understand the context. But this feature has improved recently. The UI can be a bit tricky with tiny icons hiding crucial actions.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps me write the best texts and compare with other languages. It makes it easy to maintain an app with multiple languages, and AI suggestions assist with translations based on previous work. Also, Lokalise helps us collaborate across teams and functions.

  ### 11. Excellent API, Affordable, But Needs Predictability

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shani N. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like Lokalise for its great developer API, which lets us do custom integrations with our backends. This makes it possible for developers to push into GitHub and from there automate the process of picking up keys and pushing them to Lokalise. I also appreciate the good interface and reasonable prices. The feature set is great, and after an initial learning curve, using Lokalise is a breeze.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Ad hoc projects are hard to figure out, and sometimes updating the documents shuffles keys around, so it's not 100% predictable. It would be better if the structure was more predictable when updating documents.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise for integration with Github, managing translations in several languages, and updating keys efficiently with automations. The developer API allows custom integrations with our backends, making these processes smooth and the pricing is competitive.

  ### 12. Translation Memory Rocks, But Needs Auto-Propagation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Loredana T. | Language Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I love Lokalise's Translation Memory feature; it's the best for me, and I would be lost without it. The user-friendly interface made it really easy for me to learn and use the tool quickly. Setting up Lokalise was very fast and easy, which was a big plus for me.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I do not think Lokalise has an Auto-propagation feature, as far as I know.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise's Translation Memory helps me find existing translations when current ones aren't good or complete. It has a user-friendly interface that I learned quickly.

**Official Response from Dmitry Olenovs:**

> Thank you for your kind words! We appreciate your feedback about the auto-propagation feature and will take it into consideration for future updates. If you have any more suggestions or feedback, please don't hesitate to let us know.

  ### 13. Efficiency Revolutionized by Lokalise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexandre P. | Product Manager — Squad Interactions, Entertainment, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

What I like most about Lokalise is that it really makes things easier. It goes quite fast and is simple to get the hang of. Even though the initial setup has its steps, I can easily switch from one environment to another with just a few clicks, whether it's for staging, pre-production, or production. I find it great to be able to correct translation keys live and see the updates happen quickly. It saves me a phenomenal amount of time, especially since I no longer need to do the translations manually. I am very satisfied with Lokalise.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

What could be improved is the handling with Figma. Sometimes, transferring the translation keys from Figma to Lokalise using the same nomenclature is not straightforward, and it requires extra effort from the design side to ensure they are properly accounted for. Additionally, when I am on the live website, I sometimes struggle to find the correct translation key, which takes up my time.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise saves me a phenomenal amount of time by automatically translating from French into multiple languages. It's simple, quick to set up, and allows me to efficiently manage different translation keys and environments without doing everything manually.

  ### 14. Solid localisation backbone but needs the guidance to match the feature depth

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Centralising language management in one place still saves us a huge amount of time and reduces manual overhead. Being able to track progress, spot issues, and push updates across platforms from a single workspace keeps everything moving, especially as projects become more complex. The AI translation features are a strong addition as well. I’m still getting to grips with the full range of capabilities, but the overall direction feels right.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The original pain points from my last review are still present. Key conflict handling remains unclear. There’s still no way to flag when a source string has multiple translations for a specific language, which makes it harder to maintain UI consistency. Onboarding for advanced features like image recognition also still feels too thin.

The newer AI translation features highlight the same onboarding gap. It would be much more helpful to surface clashes after the initial scan, instead of leaving users to catch them manually. As a power user, I can tell the tools are there, but the guidance isn’t keeping pace with the growing feature set.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes a lot of the chaos out of managing translations across teams and platforms. Before, we were constantly at risk of duplicated effort, missed updates, and inconsistent UI copy. Now everything is mostly in sync, which has shortened turnaround times and made releases with localisation much less painful. The AI translation features are also starting to help with speed, although the workflow for spotting and resolving conflicts still needs manual attention.

  ### 15. Excellent translation tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafał S. | Service Line Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I find Lokalise's platform intuitive, which makes it easy to integrate and facilitates efficient collaboration between developers, translators, and project managers. I appreciate the centralized translation management and automation options. The platform gives me a clear overview of the translation progress across all languages, saving a lot of time.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I don't see any major areas for improvement. Maybe the UI could be more intuitive, by supplying any UX/UI best practices to the management pages. But overall, it's clear enough for us right now.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise centralizes our translation management, automates processes, and provides a clear overview of progress. It saves time and enhances collaboration between developers and translators.

  ### 16. Essential Localization Tool with Notable Downsides

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Torsten L.

**Reviewed Date:** February 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I think their customer support is very good, especially now that we have the proper subscription. The feedback is quick, and we can get answers to a lot of questions pretty easily. They also have good documentation for each issue, which is a good feature. Other than that, the Figma plugin is fundamental to everything we do because all the designs live in Figma, and we can push the variables directly from Figma, create keys, and attach screenshots, which is essential to what we do. So, I would say those two features are what I like most.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I would say the UI and custom user experience in Lokalise is actually quite bad. I would expect more of the software in itself how you navigate the different pages, how you structure your content etc. There are certain features that you don't understand or that are hard to find. It's not very intuitive to navigate or find what you're looking for which just makes it a hassle when you're trying to learn or do new things in the software. You really gotta put some time into it and understand how that works. It's too bad, because Lokalise seems to have a lot of powerful features for automation and improving your workflow. but there are many features that you don't understand or find on your own. The same goes for the Lokalise plugin in Figma. It takes some time to figure out how it works, but once it's up and running it's very powerful and solid workflow. So I would say it's quite a steep learning curve, and the user experience doesn't feel very modern.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise for setting up localization in our apps across four markets, enabling multiple languages and translations. It helps in making tailored content and creating variables for phrases, so we avoid hard coding text.

  ### 17. Lokalise’s Glossary Database Makes Future Translations Effortless

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ef S. | Freelance Proofreader, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

For me, the best feature of Lokalise is its glossary database, which automatically saves the words we use so they’re available for future use.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Maybe it’s just on my end, but sometimes it won’t let me finish tasks. When I click “Mark as done,” nothing happens.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The word suggestions based on the glossary database are a real game changer. They save me time because I don’t have to type out the full words, and the suggestions are accurate most of the time.

  ### 18. Comprehensive Localization with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like Lokalise because the glossary and translation memory functions are great. The translation memory is particularly useful because it memorizes everything, allowing us to reuse translations, which helps with standardization. I also find the automation feature good for making the whole process more seamless. Additionally, I really appreciate the help center. The support team is really great, very fast, and efficient, and they always come up with a solution whenever I have questions.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I would say sometimes there are AI translation memories that we don't need, which aren't great. There are older translation memories from our translators that cause inconsistencies because they were worked on by different people. Even with Lokalise AI, it sometimes uses the wrong inclusive language.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise is great for managing translations and connecting complicated setups from the dev side. It allows me to see all languages and screenshots at once, making localization smoother.

  ### 19. Intuitive Localization with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isslam B.

**Reviewed Date:** January 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I appreciate how Lokalise is very intuitive and easy to use, making collaboration on the same project with multiple people seamless and without issues. The customer service is also great. I love that I don't have to download an app on my computer, which makes sharing links to our 10+ translators really easy since they just need access to the platform.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I don't like the inability to merge segments when needed, which makes it less flexible. I'd appreciate the option to edit character limits at a specific language level to ensure proper fit. A task management dashboard that groups all projects would be helpful, instead of having a dashboard per project. Additionally, I'd prefer if it could clearly number strings for better organization.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to centralize localization across all content types, ensuring glossary and TM are consistent. It integrates with multiple tools and avoids app downloads, making collaboration with our 10+ translators seamless.

  ### 20. Easy Translation Organization and Clear End-to-End Localization Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

It’s really easy to organize translations, manage different statuses, and visualize the entire localization process from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes the performance isn’t very good. When the system is having issues, I have a hard time updating translations or creating keys, which makes the workflow more difficult than it should be.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s really easy to manage all the different languages in our app. It also integrates smoothly into our workflow, which makes day-to-day work simpler. Quick support is also key, and it’s been an important part of the overall experience.

  ### 21. Intuitive and Efficient Translation Management

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like that Lokalise is simple and intuitive to use. It's great that everyone across our team, including non-technical users, can use the product without much onboarding. This ease of use has enabled us to invite native-speaking colleagues to review our translations, which has improved the quality of our translations. I find the initial setup really straightforward, and the documentation is great. It's an easy-to-use and intuitive product.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I'd say the way that the shared glossary works could be improved.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise eliminates the chaos of managing translations across multiple products and provides a definitive source of truth for our teams. It's simple and intuitive, allowing all team members, including non-technical users, to use it with minimal onboarding, improving the quality of translations.

  ### 22. Subpar API, Unreliable Jobs, Failed Cancellation & No Innovation in Years. Overpriced Stagnation.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

They provide a single point to access all your translations.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Their API is subpar compared with other systems we are now using. The reliability of the jobs is also something they could improve; they often are, and you don't know when they will be executed.
The "cancel plan" feature doesn't work: we canceled it last year, but they billed us again against our will.
They didn't add any meaningful features in years. Nothing new about AI is included in an already really expensive subscription.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

An UI to give translators a tool to translate websites and software.

  ### 23. AI-Powered Translation That Saves Time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zharif S. | Filipino LQA Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I use Lokalise for translating, proofreading, and localizing text strings to English, and the Glossary database is a huge help. It helps me track and find things I previously worked on to maintain brand consistency. The AI-assisted translation is sometimes 100% accurate, which really helps me save time. The initial setup was super easy, thanks to our project manager who oriented me well.

There isn't anything inherently that I dislike about the tool because I understand and recognize there are a myriad of industries and even more use cases for this tool.

Localization is important for so many organizations and I'm grateful that Lokalise can help make that process a little bit easier, even if there are still improvements to be made in the software.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Artem K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like the availability to synchronize with GitHub, which simplifies my workflow. The automatic creation of pull requests is cool because I don't waste time changing my translation repositories manually in local and creating PRs by myself. Instead, with 2-3 clicks, my PR to translation is ready. Everything is good with Lokalise.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Nothing.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have keys for all languages I need, and with Lokalise synchronizing with GitHub, I save time by automating translation repository updates and PRs.

  ### 28. Easy Integration and High-Quality AI Translations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 26, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

How easy it is to integrate the app into our products and the quality of the translations produced using Lokalise’s AI.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The UI is a bit complex or messy and doesn’t help the app’s overall user experience. The way it counts words when translating causes complications when quoting for a job internally, particularly when dealing with large volumes.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise’s AI provides fast and fairly accurate language translation, particularly for those who don’t have a native speaker on their in-house team, although it does need to be proofread afterwards.

  ### 29. Facilitate Translation Management with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bertrand M.

**Reviewed Date:** November 20, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I appreciate the simplicity of key management with Lokalise, which has greatly facilitated our workflow compared to the previous use of cumbersome and labor-intensive spreadsheets, filled with manual and risky tasks. Moreover, the good support provided by the Lokalise teams, especially via chat, has really helped to simplify the initial setup and to train me on using the software effectively. Their centralized features allow for quick and efficient management of translations, which proves invaluable for our professional projects.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes the Lokalise tool presents bugs, which can be frustrating even if support can easily unblock us. In trying to be very user-friendly, Lokalise does not allow certain desired actions, such as removing a tag once a workflow is completed.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to manage translations in a centralized and fast manner, avoiding the risky manual tasks of spreadsheets. The simplicity of key management is valuable, and the tool facilitates automation via API.

  ### 30. Elevates Product Maintenance with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shani N.

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I love Lokalise for its editor interface, which excels in usability and operational efficiency. The editor makes changing things a breeze and facilitates performing bulk operations, which is crucial for maintaining large-scale projects. I find editing and adding new keys particularly easy, which streamlines the maintenance process across various products and keys, all while maintaining high standards and simplifying quality assurance. My overall experience with Lokalise started smoothly, especially once we established a workflow, demonstrating its capacity for seamless integration. This ease of use combined with my ability to integrate Lokalise with other tools such as GitHub, S3, and NodeJS SDK, underscores its versatility and adaptability to existing tech stacks. Considering these factors, I confidently rate Lokalise a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommendation.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I find that the lack of key variations in Lokalise is a drawback, as it makes A/B testing of texts more challenging.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise makes maintaining multiple products and keys easier, improving quality standards, and simplifying QA. The editor facilitates changes, bulk operations, and adding keys efficiently.

  ### 31. Fast AI Translations with Smart Reviewer Assignment and Translation Memory

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fanni K. | Senior CRM Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like how fast I can get AI translations, the automated process of assigning reviewers and the translation memory features.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The reviewer part can be buggy a lot of the times. When you review sometihing and mark it as reviewed, it doesn't always save ot, and there can be a lot of issues if you edit the source text of something that has already been reviewed in certain languages.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sending emails and other CRM communication in local languages, and also localizing the application

  ### 32. Lokalise: Powerful Translation Tool with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Antje H. | International Product Manager

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I love how Lokalise's AI translation is powered by existing translations and our glossary, ensuring coherent and accurate translations, which is crucial for our banking app that needs consistency across languages. The tool allows me to easily create tasks for our UX Writer to review translated content, which significantly streamlines our workflow. I find the interface relatively easy to use, with an array of powerful features that cater to our diverse translation needs. I'm extremely impressed with Lokalise's support team; they are very reactive and helpful, which makes resolving any issues a smooth, hassle-free experience. Additionally, Lokalise is notably more powerful and has a much cleaner interface compared to other tools I've used in the past, like Phrase.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I find the Lokalise Figma plugin a bit restrictive because it doesn't display linked key names on the first level, and I cannot batch-unlink linked keys on a mock-up. This makes working with it somewhat tedious and requires many clicks. On Lokalise itself, I struggle to delete outdated screenshots for an existing key. We use tags to easily find them since the search in the screenshot section isn't very powerful, and the tags disappear if a new key linked to a screenshot is uploaded. Another issue is the inability to do QA checks on the key names; keys ending in 1.66, a situation that arises when multiple Figma layers share the same name, create difficulties for our developers. The initial setup of Lokalise was tricky, particularly on Android devices like Oppo, where the translated version wasn't displayed correctly. Additionally, replacing all hard-coded text bits with Lokalise keys was very tedious, and our Design team needed to provide significant efforts to ensure we can feed comprehensive mock-ups for UX Writers into Lokalise.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to manage and translate our app into different languages, easing adaptation without developers' help. The AI translation ensures coherent outcomes, while task creation for review streamlines our workflow. It simplifies language addition and maintains a clean interface.

  ### 33. A seamless tool for streamlining localisation at scale

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shalini T. | Product Marketing Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise has made our localisation process much faster and more collaborative. As a marketer, I use it daily for communication assets across copy and design. It’s very easy to add team members and set up translators for specific languages (e.g. French, Spanish), and the workflow for assigning tasks is simple and efficient. I especially value the Figma plugin, which allows me to directly export/import assets without manual back and forth. The integration with our app is also excellent—if I upload a screenshot, Lokalise recognises the keys and instantly matches the translations. Notifications when tasks are completed help keep projects on track, and the new AI translation features are a great addition to speed up initial drafts. Their support team is also responsive and always ready to help. Overall, Lokalise has become an essential part of our localisation workflow.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There’s a small learning curve in the beginning as it should be with any new tool. Some advanced features can take a bit of time to explore. Other than that, the experience has been very smooth.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps us manage localisation across multiple languages and teams in one central platform. Instead of manually coordinating translations in spreadsheets or email, we can assign tasks, track progress, and collaborate directly within the tool. Features like the Figma plugin, automatic key detection in app screenshots, and AI-powered draft translations save a huge amount of time. This allows us to deliver consistent, high-quality communication assets and product content much faster, while reducing errors and back-and-forth with translators.

  ### 34. Flexible Translation Options That Integrate Easily

**Reviewed Date:** May 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Variety of options to translate with different tools and different levels of oversight and peer review. Easy to manage and automate into existing tools.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

It can be a learning curve to understand the different flows, but there's plenty of learning material available to support.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localisation at scale for application support.

  ### 35. Smooth Localization with Stellar Figma Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fares A.

**Reviewed Date:** November 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I really appreciate how Lokalise offers more value for less cost compared to other vendors. The initial setup was smooth, thanks to having most of the necessary information available and the helpful guides in their help center. I find the Figma plugin to be particularly beneficial, as the ability to import and export screens between Figma and Lokalise is incredibly useful for my workflow. Lokalise helps maintain consistency in translations across languages through its glossary and machine translation features. I also find batch actions, APIs, and branches very useful in handling my localization tasks. The integration with Figma and GitHub significantly streamlines my workflow. The quick support response is very reassuring; whenever I have an issue or question, Lokalise staff are prompt and helpful. Additionally, their reasonable pricing makes it a great product worth repurchasing. The visual learning videos are a great resource too. The presence of robust features like code repositories, cloud file storage, and project management, along with integrated apps, further enhances the overall experience.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I would like to see Lokalise introducing a dedicated customer service manager for pro plans. This could be beneficial for clients looking to create custom projects or workflows tailored specifically to their needs.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to seamlessly integrate Figma screens, maintain translation consistency across languages with its glossary, and benefit from batch actions, APIs, and quick support response.

  ### 36. Effective Memory Translation, but Slow Integration

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cesare . | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like the translation memory feature of Lokalise. Additionally, I appreciate the ability to format text in the keys, making the process more efficient.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

We use the integration with Storyblok provided by Lokalise and it could be faster. It would be ideal if it worked automatically overnight, and with automatic detection of changes. It certainly wasn't easy to set up the integration with the site.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralize the translation database and allow it to be shared with the team, simplifying the management of translated content on the site.

  ### 37. Brilliant product

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I believe Lokalise is brilliant, we can easily add new languages with minimal effort required from the developers. What is even more impressive is the live updates I can do on translations for most of our products (mobile for example), because there is no need for a new release, and this can be extremely helpful. And the suggested translations! They save me an insane amount of time, I still cross-reference them, check on different translation services and my own knowledge, but having a good starting point it's extremely helpful. So thank you :)

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I'm not sure if I got the options wrong but I would like to receive suggestion of translations even from other projects. Sometimes I know I have already used the same phrase or similar in another project but it won't be suggested

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Lokalise we can offer our products in multiple languages very easily. One of our products is customer-facing and a good percentage of those users are not English speaking, being able to offer them our app translated in the language they use on their phone it's amazing

  ### 38. Powerful Localization Platform with Great Usability and Translator Access

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

* Ease of Use at Scale – Managing tens of thousands of translation strings across multiple languages is surprisingly smooth. The interface is intuitive, and batch operations, filters, and tagging make day-to-day management efficient.
* Seamless Translator Integration – The built-in support for connecting with 3rd-party translation studios is a huge time-saver. It streamlines the workflow, allowing us to send content for professional translation without leaving the platform.
* AI Support with Context Editing – Lokalise recently introduced AI translation with some free token credits to try it out. The ability to edit context before applying AI suggestions is a nice touch and ensures higher quality results.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

* Limited Export Options by Date – One ongoing challenge is the lack of a native export feature by date range. To filter strings for export, we still need to rely on tagging, which can be cumbersome when managing frequent updates.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps us manage the complexity of localizing a large-scale B2B SaaS product across 40 languages. Without a centralized platform, coordinating translation efforts between internal teams, external translators, and developers would be error-prone and inefficient.

  ### 39. Streamlined Localization with Strong Collaboration Tools

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zhanina Z. | Localization Expert, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise provides an excellent platform for managing multiple localization projects in one place. Its continuous localization capabilities are intuitive and make it easy to keep content up to date. Collaboration with linguists and language service providers is seamless, enabling faster turnaround times and fewer communication bottlenecks. The platform is straightforward to implement and integrates well with other tools in our workflow. Additionally, Lokalise regularly introduces new features, demonstrating a strong commitment to staying ahead in the localization industry. The Support team in Lokalise is also very helpful and responsive with all technical queries one may have.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

While the current feature set is strong, we would like to see more AI-driven functionality included in the subscription plans. This could further enhance automation, speed, and accuracy for certain tasks.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise centralizes all our localization workflows, allowing us to manage translations for multiple projects and content types in a single platform. Continuous localization ensures our updates are always in sync across languages, reducing delays and manual work. The direct collaboration with linguists and LSPs streamlines communication and eliminates version-control issues. As a result, we’ve improved turnaround times, enhanced translation quality, and maintained consistency across all multilingual assets.

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like that the sections are well separated, it makes validating the translation easier. I also like that one can add comments.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There is a UX problem in the comments section, sometimes I can't add a comment or see it when I'm writing.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick, simple, and effective translations with the input of all responsible persons. and with the help of AI too.

  ### 41. Comprehensive UI: A Must With A Learning Curve

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospitality | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

The comprehensive UI + system for translations and localizations.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The comprehensive system can be too overwhelming at times. Onboarding eases this pain point, yet walkthrough could be improved.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Heavy lifting for content and website writing. It is a hub where collaborators can jump in easily and see the input before it is exported.

  ### 42. Quick Exports, But Accuracy and Workflow Need Improvement

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ankita P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like the quick translations and the ease of exporting translations with Lokalise.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I see DeepL has more accuracy than Lokalise. The workflow is very complicated. It was harder than previous procedures.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise for translations of web content. It provides quick translations and is easy to export translation.

  ### 43. Great tool for designers with fast customer support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniela O. | Product Designer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

As a designer, I love the fact that Figma screens can be linked to Lokalise.
It gives translators visual context to choose the best copy, and I can easily bring the translations to Figma.
I also appreciate how fast customer support is to help you.
Asking for translations within Lokalise doesn't take too much time.
The tagging and platform system really help with the key separation per features and platform.
I love that the interface has a dark mode.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The Figma plugin could be a bit easier. It's better than before, but it could be even easier probably.
Gengo translations don't cover all languages, and they created duplicated language rows in my project.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Designers have more control over the copy changes as we are the ones who are in charge of Lokalise in our company.
Translators can create better copy due to the visual context.
Unfortunately, the developers are the ones not fully enjoying Lokalise perks. They continue to export the files based on the custom and platform tags. Once they understand it better, I think it would also solve the speed of how translations go into the product.

**Official Response from Federica Macri:**

  ### 44. Best for usability, efficiency, and support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Matti W. | Localisation and Content Design Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

We've been using Lokalise as our TMS for a year now, and I'm extremely pleased with it. The UI is very easy to use, and can be customised to see everything you need and nothing you don't – this means a lot less switching between tabs or navigating submenus to find things. The ability to see all languages on the same page alone is a godsend for me!

One of the best things, though, is the support. We always get a reply within a few minutes, compared to a few days with our previous TMS, and they've been fantastic at answering our questions and helping us find solutions.

We build for web, Android, iOS, and TV, so features like universal placeholders and per-platform key names have been really valuable for us. They've allowed us to keep everything in a single project, which not only saves time, but also means our translations are always aligned across different platforms.

Lokalise also integrates really well with our existing workflows and tooling, and we've been able to automate quite a lot of the i18n process, which has saved our engineering teams a lot of time.

Some other features I really appreciate are Xliff export that preserves notes and screenshots, Slack notifications, multiple translation memories, and advanced contextual features. We're currently in the testing phase for Lokalise AI, and the results so far are very promising.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Currently, the translation memory section only allows you to import, export, or assign to projects. Removing individual TM entries can only be done on a per-key and per-language basis in the project editor itself. There's a lack of good TM management tools for Mac, so being able to easily manage the TM in one place inside Lokalise would be extremely useful for me.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

By allowing us to manage the localisation of our content so efficiently, we estimate that we've reduced the time spent on localisation by around 50% compared to our previous solution. This has freed up a lot of resources, particularly for my team and front-end engineering teams. We've also been able to go to market significantly faster. The contextual features and ability to create cross-platform projects has also noticeably improved the consistency and quality of our translations.

  ### 45. Easy Content Localization and Sharing Across Platforms

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Banking | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

How easy is to localize content and then share it on different platforms

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

Sometimes for updating specific platforms like braze you need to do a lot of steps and sometimes it takes a lot of time to actually be updated in Braze + we don't have visibility on the timelines

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Localization for different languages and platforms

  ### 46. Easy straightforward integration and quick support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dharmaraj R. | Senior Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

Lokalise is easy to integrate with our existing internal systems, and the syncing process is very reliable with quick webhooks. It fits well into our existing workflow and saves a lot of manual effort. The support team is also very responsive and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

There might be a bit of learning curve when navigating around the web dashboard but just a day of exploring it and the APIs makes it very easy to use.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise makes it easier for our localization team to manage translations on their own side, without always needing tech help. For us in the tech team, it is simple to sync those translations into our internal systems. This saves time and makes the app localization process much faster and smoother.

  ### 47. Clean, Fast Interface—But Customisation Is Limited by Permissions

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Translation and Localization | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like the clean interface and the loading speed

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The customisation depends highly on the permissions we are given (e.g., I cannot customise QA settings or create a glossary for consistency) and there is no option to display blank spaces as symbols.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to collaborate in localisation projects in real time

  ### 48. Effortless Translation, Quick Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

I also find it really useful that Lokalise helps to iterate faster and fixes typos. The quick response from customer support when I encountered an error was impressive.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I encountered an error today, the error was about editing the keys. UX/UI parts can be improved.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise to translate our apps easily, which helps expand our market range. It's practical for translating paywalls and onboardings in many languages with one click, iterating faster, and fixing typos.

  ### 49. Very intuitive and fast for translations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

It is simple to use and especially in long projects, it helps save a lot of time and optimize work. Furthermore, I greatly appreciated the ease of initial installation without any issues, Lokalise worked perfectly right away and it has always been easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

I find it very efficient, there is nothing I don't like.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Lokalise for translations, finding it immediate and intuitive. The AI helps with effective suggestions and allows for frequent corrections, saving time on long projects and optimizing work.

  ### 50. Nice UI but AI Localization Needs Improvement

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Malcolm F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Lokalise?**

I like Lokalise's nice interface. Setting it up was pretty easy.

**What do you dislike about Lokalise?**

The AI-generated localizations just don't work well. The formatting is often weird, especially with line breaks. It doesn't often understand placeholders or where to put them. Sometimes some words are missing.

**What problems is Lokalise solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lokalise helps me localize.
