Easy to use. Overall the setup was reasonable (a waiting period like most SMS platforms) and for what I use it for, which is prettybasic 1-2x per month texts, without any inbox management or back and forth, it's very easy.

Billing can be confusing. When you upgrade to a new monthly plan (which is all billed annually) your existing credits don't rollover, so you should wait to the exact day of the month you need.
Also, there is a monthly $8 fee which I wasn't told about when signing up.

There aren't any other platforms that compare to Textedly. I like the features and the quick responses from support. It allows my company to reach members directly through SMS campaigns, which in today's world is much more convenient. I like the ease of use with navigating through the dashboard and different plans. There isn't much to dislike about Textedly, it is honestly one of the best platforms to use to get the most out of your plan. Even if you shop around, you won't find another platform that offers all of the features that Textedly does with their prices. The customer support is also amazing which is hard to find. We have used Textedly for 2 years now, and have been thrilled with our experience. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but each time I needed assistance their customer service team was there to help within hours (sometimes even within minutes!). The platform is, for the most part, user friendly and quick to learn. We dislike the fact that the texts we pay for each month expire if we have not used them. We are a travel agency, so we have months where we have to send thousands of messages when a trip is coming up, and other months where we do not send a single message. For the months where we have trips we end up paying extra for extra messages, when we have previously gone several months paying for messages and not using a single one. It would be nice if they could roll over so we could use the messages we have paid for, and not have to pay for additional messages.
The other item that would be helpful would be for there to be an option to text in Spanish without having to use more messages for "Special Characters". About half our clientele is Spanish speaking, and when we text them we have to remove all the accent marks in the messages. They think this is strange when it comes through, but if we don't we have to use quite a few more messages to communicate with them just because of the accent marks. Fast costumer support. They always answer any questions quickly and find the right solutions. I use Textedly once a week at a minimum but more so 2-3 times a week. We use them to send out important company wide text messages. It is easy to implement as you just update the contacts with your employees and then they are in the system and will receive all company text messages. The only downside I see, is the that we have to leave the "Text STOP to end" sentence at the end of every text we send out. This allows for our employees to opt out of the text notifications and then we have to get them to sign back up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Textedly to communicate with our clients. I've created Templates for communications we do on a regular basis. Uploading new client contacts is a simple process. The whole system is very straightforward. I can see which texts go through, which users have unsubscribed, how many we send, and that has allowed me to make adjustments to our plan. We weren't utilizing what we had paid for, so I contacted customer service to change our plan. They got back to me within 24 hours, changed the plan, and refunded the amount paid. We are loving being able to commincate with several different groups associated with our non-profit organization, including volunteers, donors, and recepients. It's so quick and easy to send out a quick text, and also schedule them, to let them know about events and items needed by our non-profit. We use Textedly several times a week. It has become a very important tool in my daily business life. I have to communicate the fluctuations of prices with hundreds of customers and must get the update out there quickly, so has been truly enjoying not to haveany trouble with this function. I just have to put togther my update and press send - easy as that - the service does the rest of the hard work! It saved me hours upon hours by now. I have not had any issues with customer support. At the beginning of my transition to Textedly, I encountered some challenges with message delivery that persisted for several days. Textedly enables me to schedule in advance all my weekly, or even monthly, texts that we send out to all our members. It allows people to respond, remove themselves, and add new members. It's functionality is great, making sending mass texts easy, with many features that mass texting services don't supply (images, for one). The price is not great in comparison to other services, but these extra features are a plus. Customer support is extremely quick, if not immediate, which is a huge plus. The biggest downside I had was setting up the service: for a small community, we don't have all the legal lingo and releases in place, we simply collect the phone numbers from our congregants. For a big company, this would probably have been an easy process, but we faced multiple barriers when doing it (I will say, though, that the support staff ended up coming in strong and streamlining the process for us).
