I love that when I am creating tutorials through Tango I can edit what is screenshot and the description underneath. my staff can follow along with the guide that Tango provides. If I accidentally click something, it can be easily deleted from the transcript of what is being automatically created. I absolutely love that Tango creates a PDF version of the tutorial and then provides a link for Tango to guide users through step by step! What!! I have shared this with every person I've come into contact with. It has literally saved me SO MUCH TIME when I have people emailing me asking how to do something. All I have to do is send them the PDF that I downloaded (with the "guide me" link) and their problems are solved! It was literally SO easy to implement. Now, my entire time is making them, so the ease of integrating has been seamless, and I use it all of the time!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't love, love that the PDF printed off only 1 or 2 steps per page, so I do feel like I'm wasting paper a bit when I print those off for people - but they shouldn't even be using the PDF version because the "guide me" feature is AMAZING! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I can do most of the tutorials I need for free!!! You just screen record yourself doing it and it automatically creates the steps for you which then you can edit/remove/add any of them based on your needs, which is fantastic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not really anything to dislike, it's a free tool that does a great job on creating tutorials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tango has been incredibly helpful for me when I am running training sessions for clients. When I need to have them complete steps ahead of training, like logging in for the first time or connecting their email, or after to document an established process, Tango saves me a ton of time and energy when I create those guides. I can create customized guides, or use general ones I've made before, which is fantastic. I use Tango a few times a month, but it saves me probably a few hours at a time. Not much, I really, really like Tango. At most perhaps the search function in the extension could be a bit easier to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Tango is incredibly easy to use and captures your work with remarkable speed. It saves a lot of time by recording software functions in just seconds Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing I dislike. I am just waiting for some new features to become available in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Tango has greatly improved the way we are able to walk our customers through testing and training within our product. We're newer users of Tango, but I only see us expanding on the ways we can use it moving forward! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are not necessarily downsides, but things I would like to see improved upon:
1. Ability to rearrange sections in groups rather than individually. This gets tediuous quickly
2. Links to the webpages that are being captured when the Tango is duplicated (these links remain the same, and I believe it would be helpful for them to be removed upon duplication). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps you a lot to create detailed guidelines for colleagues and friends. It boosts the productivity and reduce time for making boring stuff and turn them into nearly fun activities. It's very user friendly, with just two clicks it's accessible from the Chrome extensions (so no need to setup or difficult implementations). I use it often to create documents for my colleagues. It's fully integrated with chrome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
TBH I found nothing that could be immproved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The desktop capture app makes recording workflows super easy. It basically works in the background while you perform the task and the process document writes itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It picks up every mouse move and click. I can see in the near-future it will get smarter at this and cut out some of the redundant clicks and keystrokes that people just coincidentally perform and record. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was extremely user friendly and took a task that would have taken a full days work down to an hour. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downsides I ran into were that I couldn't share a folder with the free subscription and that I couldn't combine all of them into one document. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I did like the screen shot recording, making it easier to capture quickly as you go through steps in a functional process. The editing options, such as redaction or blurring is a plus for sensitive data that may appear on screen but do not want to widely share. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like the steps the AI documents to be a little more detailed, their competitors have this. In addition the screen shots do not go as wide as I's like to capture full screen without just zooming in on a specific area of the screen. Lastly, the export option is tedious whn trying to get it to into MS Word, another feature their competitor I switched to has. All else, this serves its purpose as a tool, reducing screen capture times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's dead-simple to create and share Tangos. Since Tangos are intended to be initiated by the user wherever they are, integrating Tango into the users' flow of work is seamless. With adoption metrics available to track slow adoptors in need of 1:1 training or instructions that can be more clear, I have everything I need to ensure processes are being followed and data is reliable. Without a process adoption software like Tanog, we're left with reactive tracking of bad data and hoping someone asks for help before they muck it up. With Tango, we can be proactive about ensuring marketing, sales, and client data is dependable and available. Tango offers SSO, are SOC II certified, and make blurring sensitive data available when required. These security benefits are a huge asset and I think the features available and recently rolled out indicate how closely they listen to customer feedback.
If you aren't ready to pull the trigger or don't have buy-in, the free-account is worth your time. They offer a ton of value for free, further demonstrating their commitment to their users. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I found it difficult to gain executive sponsorship, the website is ambiguous and required multiple videos to understand what the product is. Then it took testing the creation and guidance process to really grasp the full experience. It might just be one of those things that you have to see to get, but this makes sponsorship difficult when they won't sit to watch a video or a demo.
Tango offers a massive value (when you understand it), but for small shops wanting all the features, it's pricey and will be a hard sell, especially since the recent price model change. Be persistent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
