I like the conversation style emails. Easy to navigate and use. I've been using spike for about 4 years now and haven't used any other email app for personal or business use. All around great app! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You should be able to copy and paste text from any email you like. Also be able to save images from an html email. Some emails formatting is weird I have to zoom in and scroll but a formatted zoom for every style of email would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best is the user-friendly front end side of the app and the useful shortcuts on the desktop version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Calender isn't well presented, I use my gmail calender instead Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The conversational layout is my favourite - this simplifies your inbox, makes it easier (and more aesthetic) keeping up with email threads. I also love the note taking feature and the automatic prioritisation of emails into "priority" and "other" - it is very accurate as well. You can also SEE WHEN SOMEONE HAS SEEN YOUR EMAIL - this is a game changer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not being able to select a package with multiple different emails from different domains and manage them all from one portal Sometimes it is hard to find a conversation because the email was sent to a group - so you are looking within your conversation with one person for something but it is actually in the "group" chat. It has been hard to show fellow employees the value of joining. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ease of use and intuitive approach are the best aspects. Once you get used to the unique workflow it becomes second nature.
I haven't seen a similar product out there Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that bothers me in my workflow is inability to copy specific text in a mobile version (unless I open the quotes text in the email. Search is also not always accurate Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spike keeps all the emails from the same person or group together, so I don't have to go searching. I can pin important emails to the top of my inbox, and I can delete all the Wowcher emails in a couple of clicks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven’t found anything I don’t like yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think that one of the best things it has is the look. It looks like a chat platform, what makes it less boring than a normal e-mail platform. I also like that it has a combined inbox, where you can see all your mails only separated by colors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't dislike nothing in special. So I can't write here a lot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best email applications I have ever come across. I have used it quite a few times now and love using it. It converts your email into a real-time chat that's easy to read. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes it gets slow or gets stuck, which might be due to a low internet connection; otherwise, I can not see any dislike for this app. It's just perfect to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spike's method of sorting emails is brilliant. It transformed my inbox into a chat-like environment, where emails are organized by persons rather than threads or subjects, making it feel like I'm using an IM rather than an old email client. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Among the more complex functions require some improvement. I'd like to see tagging in notes (to make cooperation easier) or the ability to immediately add a call link to an invite (like in Google Calendar). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The organization by people feature. It makes viewing and responding to emails super easy. It makes it feel like a texting app, like WhatsApp, which I find comortable to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
You can choose to classify your emails by high priority or low priority. However, some messages that I consider high priority end up in the low priority section. It is a very minor issue, and I can easily send such emails to the high priority section manually or deactivate the classification of emails by priority. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I liked the most about Spike is that we can access the system remotely while someone is presenting to us, which I guess no conferencing or cloud meeting software is providing nowadays.
Also, we can share the recording of the meeting itself in the chat, which is the most helpful feature. Else we need to save it somewhere in cloud servers.
It provides everything such as Excel, Word everything. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This is not very user-friendly. And I am saying this because when we integrated this into our Organization, it took a lot of time for our students to adopt this ultimately. Many faced problems in many steps. Although, we sorted all that with the help of the remote access feature of Spike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
