What do you like best about Slack?

I have been using Slack fron the past 3.5 years and am very impressed by it's simplicity and ease of use. It has a good UI, better color coding, status feature and silet calling tone over others. It also shows a good virw of other peer profiles along with he time zone info which help in better call scheduling Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The downside which I found was that it asks for a login every few days even when using office VPN or networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

It helps me get connected to my team in a better way as I don't have to keep track of what timeline they are in while scheduling some call as slack has a feature where it shows what is the current time of my powers. What do you like best about Slack?

Facilitates seamless daily conversations with colleagues.

It allows me to easily record, customize, make calls, chat, and access various other features.

Creating groups and connecting with colleagues is simple and efficient.

The threads feature is particularly helpful for keeping conversations organized.

The web version is excellent, and its integration with Gmail makes it easy to implement and use.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The app occasionally hangs.

There are issues with the huddle feature, making the web version a more reliable option at times.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

It allows me to instantly connect with my colleagues and set reminders for important tasks.

The huddle feature enables quick connections, while its project collaboration tools are highly effective. The video conferencing runs smoothly without any lags.

Overall, it's an impressive team collaboration software, superior to Microsoft Teams, that I use daily to stay connected with my colleagues.

What do you like best about Slack?

It's integration with different cloud based tools for e.g JIRA along with it's feature to use slack bots to automate tasks and reminder is one of the key features that's been proved veryu useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Slack works very well on instant messaging feature along with prompt notifications to keep users updated. It's integration with JIRA proves to be significant when using both the tools for business. Slack to a greater extent diminishes the need to install any other messaging tool resulting in keeping the business chats intact in a single tool. What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is by far my favorite direct messaging channel for a couple of reasons. Number one, we work with quite a few contractors, being able to have them be added to our work Slack channel is a HUGE time saver. Secondly, the other custom integrations, like Asana have been a game changer for my project management. Being able to be pinged in Slack when something is updated in Asana or Google Docs allows me to be on top of high priority items. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Slack?

The only dislike I have is that when you have it open on your desktop and phone, sometimes it'll show you have a message but when you open it, it appears you don't have a message (nothing at the top, bolded, etc.) so I have to manually click different channels / people assuming who it might have been to find the message. Thus flaw costs me time and sometimes causes me to miss a message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Slack solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Slack?

Slack is extremly easy , great UI interface and most importantly it does not have any glitches very occasionally.

Slack is best to share text , images , video and group discussion , group calls with best audio qulaity.

1- As per my real time experience, When ever the connection slow down or lost the slack account either got logout directly or at stuck at only loading foreever phase , which makes user frustating.

Solving problems:

1- traditional communicatioverload in same threads.

2-colloboration of apps: other privous managemrnt tools dont provide the colloboration with other tools like google etc , slack making it poss to colloborate other platforms.

3-Difficulties in searching conversations: traditonally if user want to search or track a particular chat or conversation they need to scroll and do it manually , but in slack user can simple the topic of conversation and no time the whole conversation comes. What do you like best about Slack?

What do you like best about Slack?

Its easy to connect with our team members whenever we need. We have several options available to set our status as Avtive, Inactive, out of office, its totally upto your choice how you want to modify it.

It also helps to send notifications to our collegues for any kind of notifications, when they are in offline status. Easy to communicate with our co-workers over call and can also connect for video call with features of sharing screen. That makes us easier to understand about our works. What do you dislike about Slack?

Some of them are like :-

1. Sometimes while connecting with collegues, we have audio issues.

2. Searching for names is having limitations on it.

3. We also see very minor notifications issue when our status is set to be active.

As a remote worker or member of a suck a great orginazation team, Slack ensures that I can communicate effectively with colleagues, even if we're working at different times of the day, its easy to send messages even via our cell phone when we stay away from our PC's or Laptop's.

Slack Workflows helps me give automatic reminder every week for my timesheet, weekly expenses splits

What do you like best about Slack?

As always, the User Experience is the first thing that I like.

Replying to an individual message in a thread is a very nice feature. This helps in having a clean conversation throughout the chat history.

In an organization, there is a need to have an official platform where all the team members can have a conversation whether it is between 2 people or in a group.

Besides, there is one more feature that I would like to share and that is creating channels, each channel for a different purpose like client services, operations, project team, dev chat, etc. These channels helps in keeping everything in order and lead to a smooth functioning of the company.
