The user interface of Slack is quite comprehesive and easy to use. Different color codings, each feature is right the the fingertip adn the inbuilt Huddle call for small and quick meeting is quite a great feature with screen sharing and video support. Managing groups and team conversation is very easy in slack and options to join multiple workspaces is quite an amazing product decision. Support wise , slack team is quite helpful. And integrating with out workspace, slack is always handy tool and easy implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The desktop application of slack can sometime feel a bit laggy and slow to open up, but once it is booted up, it works smoothly like a charm Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Our Organization QBurst Inc uses Slack for effective communication, helps the IT team to work together and for efficient alignment. Slack literally helps to organize the work, reach to fellow colleagues with ease. Also, UI and navigation is very simple and interesting. Give it a try and see the communication impact it can bring along... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So there will be many channels and the possibilities of too many messages across the team members which sometimes may distract the work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We use it at the firm everyday and for everything. There was no initial training because it is userf friendly and self -explanatory, That is how we know who is who and who is available. Notifications pop out fast and your chances to get quick answers and/or replies are pretty high. You can upload many types of files and docs and the other end receives them without issues. It is very functional, versatile and helpful to complete daily tasks in lesser time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the default channels could be more interesting or dymanic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The channels- it allows s teams to organize discussions by topic, project, department, or any other category. The public as well as the private channels are searchable with keywords so finding the right message is really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes, using Ctrl+F is not always functioning in a specific channel; I have to type in the #channel before the command is understood. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Being able to integrate with various other products as well as being able to collaborate with co-workers in a meaningful way.
It's very easy to use and all employeeds have been able to adopt using it without issues. Being abel to implement it throughout the company in all various departments has been helpful for depertmental work, but also for collaboration across the board.
We use it all day, everyday within the company having created channels for each department.
Having a dedicate Customer Support channel has helped both the support team as well as other departments have a broad overview of issues and jumping in where needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Threads are simething that is not neccesarly not helpful, I just don't feel like it's functional. O wamt to be able to reply to amessage without it creating a new thread Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It allows seamless communication either on phone or on lapto. we can easily check or send text through it and get the response as per availablity of the person. We can easily create a channel for different teams, projects and topics and hence this reduce the need of long email threads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometime we feel distraction because of notifications. So we may have to disable the slack while doing our task so that we can focus on our work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slack is your go to communications channel for all types of work-related things. Group calls, threads, direct conversation with clients, can be done through a single platform. It allows you to have the ability to have private conversations with colleagues as well as do work related stuff through a single app, and I really like that. We have always been using Slack, and intend to use it in the future too! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far, I haven't faced any problems. But during calls, the video quality and the audio quality can surely be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Best Feature about Slack is that there are multiple channels within one group, which help in organizing the topic of discussion. And there is no limit or very high limit on the number of people who can join and be members of the group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I feel Slack's mobile version lacks some functionality which sometimes makes it difficult to use via hone for some quick things. The ease of integration is comparatively less for the mobile version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Slack makes team communication efficient and seamless. I love how easy it is to organize conversations into channels. The search feature is also useful making it easy to find old messages or files. The mobile app is just as seamless as the desktop version, so I can stay connected even when I'm on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notifications can get overwhelming, especially in large teams with multiple active channels. It takes some time to fine tune notification settings. Also the free version has limitations on message history. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm part of global team and work remotely, due to its friendly interface I love communication over slack. Additionally, after integrating it with other platforms we already use, we are able to receive calendar events, customer reviews, feedback, and much more into Slack channels. makes keeping track of things much simpler.
