## Sense Reviews
  ### 1. Efficient Recruiting Communication Without Manual Follow-Up Overload

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** VINAY P. | Senior Project Engineer, Design, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Sense?**

What I found most useful about Sense was how it simplified large-scale communication and follow-up coordination without making the workflow feel overly manual. In operational environments where multiple candidate interactions, scheduling activities, and status updates happen simultaneously, managing communication through separate tools becomes difficult very quickly.

The bulk messaging and automation capabilities saved a significant amount of repetitive coordination effort. For example, instead of manually following up with individual candidates regarding document updates, interview scheduling, onboarding instructions, or status confirmations, communication could be organized through structured campaigns and automated workflows.

I also liked the ATS integration because it reduced duplicate data-entry activities and helped keep communication tied to the correct candidate records. The Chrome extension and messaging workflows made daily outreach much faster without requiring constant switching between systems.Another practical advantage was the scheduling and notification management. Automated reminders and interview coordination reduced missed follow-ups and improved response consistency during busy hiring cycles.
From a UI/UX standpoint, the platform feels approachable for daily operational usage. The dashboard, messaging tools, and campaign management features are relatively easy to navigate even for users handling high communication volumes.

The AI-assisted messaging suggestions were also helpful for speeding up repetitive communication tasks while still allowing manual personalization where needed

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

One limitation I noticed is that performance can occasionally feel slower during larger campaigns, bulk messaging activities, or synchronization-heavy workflows.

There are also moments where ATS synchronization delays require additional manual verification to ensure updates and communication histories are fully aligned.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Sense, large portions of communication, interview coordination, follow-ups, and candidate engagement activities were being handled manually through emails, spreadsheets, phone calls, and disconnected messaging tools. That created delays, inconsistent follow-ups, and additional administrative overhead.

Sense helped centralize outreach, messaging, scheduling, notifications, and communication tracking into one structured workflow. Instead of manually contacting candidates one by one or updating multiple trackers, outreach and follow-up activities became more organized and scalable.

For example, automated reminders, bulk messaging, and integrated communication workflows reduced repetitive coordination effort during hiring and onboarding activities. It also improved response visibility because conversations remained linked to the correct records instead of being scattered across multiple systems.

The biggest operational benefit was reduced manual communication effort while improving response consistency, scheduling efficiency, and workflow visibility across ongoing recruitment and coordination activities.

  ### 2. Immensely powerful product

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Taylor W. | Business Applications Analyst, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 08, 2022

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I love their adaptability, they do appear to be moving in a direction of flexibility and user accessibility wghile incorporating AI, which is great and where the industry is headed

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

I would echo some of the same themes as before - there is a lot of gear shift and roadmap, but not something that's completely tangible yet. At the same time as all this growth, it seems very AI-sided and not necessarily aligned on some of their other products outside of AI

**Recommendations to others considering Sense:**

Decide the areas you would like to see the most improvement and really build from there. From automating to data integrity we've been able to look at a multitude of areas in business where we can utilize sense for improvements

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solving issues of automation and API connection, re-engagement and data cleanliness have been excellent use cases

  ### 3. Streamlines Communication and Boosts Productivity Effortlessly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amit S. | Team Lead Recruitment, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Sense?**

Sense greatly simplifies communication and increases efficiency. I can send messages to a large group of candidates at once, which saves me a lot of time compared to reaching out manually. The platform is intuitive and straightforward, so I didn’t need much training to get started. One of its key strengths is the ability to run and manage several campaigns at the same time, which keeps candidate engagement organized and consistent. Overall, Sense streamlines the outreach process and boosts my productivity. I use Sense for messaging about 80% of the time in my daily work. It’s also easy to implement and doesn’t require a complicated setup. Customer support is very Friendly and resolve the query. Integration of Sense with ATS and Job is very easy and Also reduce the time for Messaging

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

While Sense is a useful tool overall, there are a few areas where it can be improved. At times, the system can feel a bit slow or laggy, especially when handling large campaigns or bulk messaging. Personalizing messages in bulk can also be somewhat limited, which makes outreach feel less tailored in certain situations. Additionally, tracking detailed responses or campaign performance is not always as clear or intuitive as it could be. Improving speed, flexibility in customization, and reporting features would make Sense even more effective.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As mass emailing can block the gmail access so it is easy to share text to a large group of People in one time. Also we can grab the contact directly from the ATS or Job boards to share the Messages. It benefits me as it reduce efforts and saves time to do other tasks

  ### 4. Sense is a game changer!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ilene B. | Principal Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

Sense has been a great supplemental tool to use to text with candidates, especially when most people are sensitive to cold calls with the amount of spam received. I like that I can easily text as a follow-up to emails, InMails, and voicemails, as well as communicate quickly with active candidates who are currently in an office setting.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

The app can be glitchy without sending notifications to my phone when a text is received. It is consistent with email notifications.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to get new candidates on the phone quicker by texting + also maintaining relationships with active candidates.

  ### 5. Game changing tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nikki P. | Partner, Client Service, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 17, 2022

**What do you like best about Sense?**

Their chatbot is one of the best I've seen with options to use writeback fields.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

As a single point solution it wasn't natively integrated with the automation workflows in our ATS.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows for both real time communication and the benefits of automated touchpoints to always be in touch with our stakeholders.

  ### 6. Efficient, Detail-Oriented Service—Highly Recommend Sense

  ### 7. Sense

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cally W. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Sense?**

Sense has a lot of great features. We’ve used their chatbot, SMS, marketing campaigns for workers, and scheduling functionality. I’d say their SMS functionality has strong organizational aspects, which makes it very recruiter-friendly and helps us stay on top of communication with workers. The marketing campaigns also helped us build consistent communication with our applicants.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

We struggled implementing a sales marketing campaign.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sense is helped communication barriers to help reduce timing from an applicant to candidate to worker. In the market today we are noticing time barriers that need to be filled to help our community and workers with providing multiple work opportunities.

  ### 8. Sense is a great application

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amaan K. | Compliance Associate, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Sense?**

What I appreciate most about Sense is its user-friendly interface which makes it much easier for us to communicate effectively with talent. The ease of implementation has been a real advantage. I also find the auto-correct feature very helpful. Since integrating with the AHA tool reaching out to talent has become even simpler we just need the ID number to find and chat with someone which encourages us to use the platform more often. Additionally, the Sense Customer Support team is very proactive and consistently does a great job.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

The most dislike aspect of using Sense is that it can occasionally become glitchy and laggy. There are times when searching for a talent's profile doesn't yield any results, which makes it difficult to send them messages and, at times, even prevents any communication altogether.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem which Sense is solving is the communication aspect with the talent. With Sense, it is lot easier to communicate with Sense as we can text them freely without any hinderance and issue. We can message the talent in real time basis. Also, they are working on their AI Copilot to further enhance the application.

  ### 9. User-Friendly Tool with Responsive Support

I wish the AI portion was a little more "human" sounding by default.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Quick and easy communication to individuals or groups, easy scheduling with candidates and clients alike.

  ### 10. Sense is reliable and makes communication smoother and time saving

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohan A. | Compliance Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I like the fact that it works in tandem with tools like Bullhorn. I can reach out to people directly without having to manually enter their phone numbers or copy over contact info. It simplifies outreach, especially for large volumes of candidates, and helps keep communication consistent while at the same time saving time.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

Sometimes things don’t sync as cleanly as I’d like, which means a little extra checking or manual work here and there. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it's something to be aware of while reaching out to candidates to avoid an unintentional mistake.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sense helps make communication easier and more efficient, especially with the Chrome extension. The ability to quickly reach out to candidates from Bullhorn without copying contact info saves time. I also really like the "Write with AI" feature because it helps speed up messaging while still letting me personalize it. It's a handy tool that supports my workflow without getting in the way.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Sense?**

The main thing that I like and is very useful in my daily work as a recruiter is how it integrates with JobDiva and I am able to message merge multiple candidates. I help to manage all and fetch all the candidates very accurately. I use it a lot for my daily tasks and it works seamlessly.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

I dislike the search feature. It never works accurately for me. When I search for a number, I don't know why it brings multiple profiles and I get frustrated searching my old messages by scrolling all the way down.

The main problem it solves is that we can reach multiple candidates in a single click. Also, it helps track other employee messaging in JobDiva, which helps take care of the quality communication done by them

**Reviewed Date:** March 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Sense?**

It's super user-friendly and integrates AI seamlessly! User-friendly. I utilize this platform daily in my work.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

Occasionally, it fails to synchronize with Tempworks. AI Copilot should also be utilized for communicating with a representative.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Obstacles to Effective Communication with Employees

  ### 26. Easy and Effective Communication Tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lizzie P. | Senior Operations Analyst, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I like its ease of use and versatile functionality. I have used Sense as a Recruiter, utilizing the messaging function, and as an Admin to manage accounts and campaigns, complete reporting, etc. In both capacities, Sense is easy to navigate and provides an easy way to contact people, both individually and in mass, by text and email, add/remove accounts, set up and edit campaigns, and pull reports. Their customer service is good, always willing to help solve any issues that arise. From a messaging standpoint, the Chrome Extension is very helpful.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

I have no real complaints; however, they did update the onboarding process to add a new user with messaging functionality, which requires a little more back-and-forth (signing of forms, etc.). Thankfully, their team is quick and has a good turnaround team, so it has not caused any problems. Also, it would be helpful to make the Extension compatible with Edge for those who prefer it over Chrome. Currently, it only works/is available with Chrome.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sense allivates the need for recruiters to use their own mobile device/number to communicate via text with candidates. This is extremely helpful as most recruiters do not feel comfortable using their private numbers. In addition, Sense also helps us (Sales, Recruitment, and Corporate) to reach large groups of people via mass-emails and their journeys. The journeys are very helpful to reach out to current clients and contractors, provide updates or instructions, conduct surveys for feedback, and referrals, etc. It adds automation into otherwise time-consuming and mundane outreaches.

  ### 27. Incredibly simple and straight forward

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bianca H. | Compliance, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I truly appreciate Sense because it allows me to contact our employees without having to use my personal cell phone. Sense brings ease to contact, now a days no one really answers their phone if they don't recognize a number, but everyone reads their text messages so it's nice to be able to reach out through Sense and know that any information shared between us and our employees is secured.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

Nothing comes to mind when trying to find a downside, Sense works great.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

N/A

  ### 28. Excellent technology and user support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Oliver M. | Recruitment Consultant, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

The level of support provided, things go wrong with all things and there are always teething problems. The team at Sense is happy to delve into the issue, make sure they understand what's going wrong and keep the users updated on fixes.
I'm a big fan of the texting functionality and the chatbots that we've been able to implement.

It's a large part of my processes now, allowing me to work smarter and focus on things that require my attention.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

Larger broadcasts can cause a lag and messenger has a larger memory for numbers than it should, as it should only be able to read what's on the page not what was on past pages.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving the issue of formality, which causes candidates to need to compose structured responses which they require time for. The technology Sense has provided means candidates can respond quickly regardless of what they're doing.

  ### 29. Helpful product for recruiting, minimal downsides

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Emily G. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

* I love that the texting product uses the same phone number as my Teams/Work calling number: Easy to correlate a missed call, voicemail, and text all to the same person (as the recipient)
* App makes it easy to keep informed on-the-go, or while on lunch, or stepped away from computer
* Easy to click a number on a page and send out a text
* Good notificaton system - coming from verious places email, browser plug in, and phone app - to never miss a message
 * Great that you can schedule a future text message - honestly have not used this feature nearly enough but it can have many benefits (pre-interview check in, weekly reminder to submit timesheet, or if you are working on EST and want to set up some texts to PST folks but not until after 8 AM PST, etc.)
* Also just a great tool to communicate with candidates in general, not just for initial outreach to potential candidates

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

* Phone app has a few flaws, and/or opportunities for improved features...... Logs me out frequently. Isn't always up to date therefore can at times require multiple refreshes. I also wish that the app connected to my Teams recent calls/call log. Then I could easily click a number to text it, or make a call from the text. (versus copy and paste).
* Desktop app/email system: It would be very helpful if the plugin text could somehow have a link to that candidate's profile in our ATS. Similarly, if the email notification could link you to the candidate's ATS profile.
* I personally also wish that the mass text function was simplified - would be great to click numbers on the screen to simply add, versus the plug in auto populating numbers that can sometimes be messy and unclear who they are from etc.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

In my opinion, the #1 problem it fixes is that our old system used a different phone number for our texts and our calls. Now it makes much more sense (lol pun not intended) for texts and calls to come from the same number

  ### 30. Sense: inconsistent but can be effective

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan F. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I like the convinience of being able to talk to multiple people at once. I also like that I can us emy computer to send sms messages to whoever I need to send it to.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

It is very inconsistent. A lot of employees tell me their messages never reach them. There is a certian character limit to a broadcast message for major announcements but I can't send it so I had to turn to WhatsApp broadcasts and there all the employees get the message and there is no character limit and I can attach photos and voice memos.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem it solves is using a PC to send SMS messages to any brand smartphone. Apple is very ecolocked in their system and so is Windows and Samsung. Sense can reach anyone.

  ### 31. Simple and Efficient Application

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Linda A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

The user interface is clean and easy to navigate. I love the fact this platform integrates with our ATS and functions within a browser, widget, or app. Its notifications are also effective, but non-intrusive which is really great if you want to keep an eye on your messages without getting distracted or alarmed by them when deep in focus on other work.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

Sometimes the "copy" function does not work in the app, so you have to close out of it and then reopen it to access that feature from the app.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to quickly and efficiently mass communicate with candidate profiles in our ATS. It saves a ton of time!

  ### 32. Very handy for automating and keeping in touch

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Allyson P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 21, 2024

**What do you like best about Sense?**

I have utilized the Sense journeys to automate reminders to staff as well as send out important documentation. It has been especially handy when new employees become eligible for something like benefits or sick time, we can have a timed email with documents stored to go out at that time.

**What do you dislike about Sense?**

The "bubble" floating in my chrome often gets in the way, i would prefer a desktop application so I don't miss notifications and it is not in the way.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I no longer need to remember to send out reminders/emails/documents on a certain cadence. Sense handles that for me!

**Official Response from Alex Dunn:**

> Thanks for sharing Allyson!

Feel free to customize your Sense Chrome extension to fit your needs, or use our full web app instead. We've attached some more information in case it's helpful.

I do enjoy Sense, if I didn't I wouldn't use it.
I wouldn'y waste my time, I value my time the same as you value yours.

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

When messaging a group, Sense allows me to speak with whomever in first sense rather than 3rd, even when sending a message to 100 people.

Sense is the perfect product for team or individual use! Messages are almost as instant as texts. I love the privacy of not having to share my personal number, but not having to have a seperate phone for messaging

When making calls from Sense, your personal number shows on the receivers caller ID. This can be confusing and can lead to unanswered calls if the receiver does not recognize the number

One improvement that could be made includes creation of message templates that can be saved and sent out not sure if this is a feature!

**What problems is Sense solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Messaging candies allows to communicate when they are at work and cannot accept calls. They are usually more inclined to respond to texts.
