The Org chart view is nice. The iOS app is nice to have too. It allows you to find contact info (phone numbers, email, ect) without having those contact on your phone. The guide for rating your employees too is a good feature. It is very helpful when you have a lot of reviews to do in a short time. It give you a bunch of canned responses that you can personalize. There is a lot to improve on. It's not easy to navigate around and can be confusing. The implementation work seemed to be difficult as well for our HR team when trying to make changes. When our contract ended, SuccessFactors acted like they had no idea nor were they willing to assist in extracting our data from the system. Finally, after nearly demanding it be done, we were given someone to assist with the extraction of the data. It was nearly a blatant disregard for any form of customer service. The Performance module had everything we were looking for. Our organization had a challenge with how to manage matrixed manager relationships and that functionality was built into the product - we didn't have to seek out a customized solution. Our implementation was handled by Learn 2 Perform, not Success Factors. I did feel at times something was lost having another group handle the implementation v. Success Factors. I think the process to import our employee, job model data, etc could have been easier. The ability to manipulate the review process in multiple ways allowed for very specific and appropriate reviews for all employees. From a reviewer and reviewee' standpoint the interaction was fairly intuitive and generally followed a linear path. Support team was very responsive and very capable. Overall administration of the product required too much interaction with support. Additionally SF seemed to continuously roll out new modules that did not have clearly defined functions.
