I like best its functionalities that it has, like it provides all the features that we need to built an ecommerce store, full of features and ease to use them, we change and add every functionality we want with the use of code that thing in it I like the best, everything can be customized with the demand of the customer. In Salesforce Commerce Cloud nothing has to be disliked in its features and functionalities, except its expensiveness and its changed of developer documentation. Salesforce Commerce Cloud is very expensive to use and build an whole ecommerce functionalities, its link cartridges are also paid like OMS. I had the experience to create a product and see how to connect my salesforce commerce to my main page ecommerce, which was an insurance commerce page. Everything went fine until we find out we cannot personalize as we wanted each product. In insurtech you have products that you cant sell to everybody, we have to inspect the client and adapt the product to something we can receive a ROI and also de client can benefits from the service. We thought salesforce commerce was more for products you can register and hardly adapt as clothes, food, and stuffs like that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love how versitile Salesforce is. It can be used in almost any industry and customized for any business. They handle large data sets fairly well, and they are mostly reliable. I love how much documentation and how many trainings and events are available for people who really want to get into the Salesforce community. The main thing that I dislike about Salesforce is the cost. While they do provide a very high quality service, the cost is extremely high. There can also sometimes be an issue with larger data sets, when we are running scheduled jobs, which can cause some seemingly random failures. It appears that it may relate to some hardware failure somewhere, as I have looked more into it and running the same code twice in a row sometimes results in a failure with larger data sets, but not every time. The security level is really impressive. Authentication is required when linked to a different wifi/mobile connection, and it auto logs in when the network is familiar. Other than this, SFCC is very functional when it comes to data management. Order details, refunds, coupons, etc., basically everything linked to a customer's account, including each click and login by a customer, everything shows up without hassle.
