The development in sage is not at a very good pase, the ideas take time to get implemented, some of the idea are useful and need a quick turn around. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a new user, I've found it easy to navigate and to pick up how to use the system in a relative short period of time. In addition to this, the customer support functionality has been a great help. I use this on a daily basis and anytime I have an issue, there are useful articles to read to help resolve issues. I would like Sage to have open item management, so that we can clear balances that net to zero on any GL account. Also, the reports are not the easiest to create or to rearrange and the excel format while looking good is not useful for data analysis requiring additional editing before I can use for filtering and sorting. I would like to see a better interaction with some other softwares that can help us in other areas of the business. For me Sage Intacct is the best software tool i have ever used because it improves my efficieny in doing works.The setup process is smooth, and the interface is user-friendly, making daily tasks simple to manage. Sage Intacct helps us to access to multiple clients and exceptional customer support, Customized reports for specific business needs and it also helps us to integrate with other ERP's and also helps us to enhance various financial management process. SAGE Intacct has multiple modules you can set up from AP to General Ledger to Cash Management with flexibility on the type of custom fields that adhere to your company. We've been using SAGE for a while now and the recent updates have made it more user friendly and intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My only issue with SAGE intacct is that the reports are smart reports -- in other words -- when I download a financial statement in Excel format, the data is comes without formulas and everything is just hardcoded. I have to manually enter in formulas because pulling data over and over again if there's a slight change is ineffective and inefficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sage Intacct excels when it comes to it's reporting. Being able to split up transactions into multiple different dimensions (projects, allocations, departments, etc) allows me to serve my clients well. The main downside to Intacct is its user interface makes it hard to learn and use. While I am comfortable in it now, it took a while to get used to and is difficult to train other people on. An additional downside is that it does not always easily sync up to other accouting systems that we use (i.e. AP/AR systems, CRMs, ect.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
