If I were starting my own small business, as much as I prefer Sage Intacct, I would likely set my company up on QBO. While Sage Intacct offers greater value, its cost may not suit startups that don't initially need its advanced features. A fixed-duration startup package from Sage Intacct could better compete with QBO’s pricing, potentially attracting businesses that would otherwise face costly transitions to a more robust GL system like Sage Intacct as they grow. Sage intacct helps me to know more information on vendors. It helps me to know the different bills processed in that particular client entity. It helps me to download reports. It has a Purchasing module that helps me in processing Purchase order bills. It has a multi-currency module which helps us to know if that client is enabled with multi-currency. The limitations of the Avalara Tax. The Tax calculations are not available in the Accounts Payable or the Credit Card Transaction modules. This makes reports incomplete. Would like something that covered ALL modules that deal with tax transactions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like least about Sage is that there is so much to learn. I had to take alot of training classes in order to just use what I would use for my everyday job. This system unfortunately not be for everyone. I'm a super fast learner but even this was difficult to use starting out and was really confusing. Also, the trainers weren't very good to me. I learned alot just trial and error onmy own- playing around with the system. There is still so much for me to learn as well and it seems as though the learning never ends. I also do not think I have access to the customer support, I believe just our leadership does. Which means I have to reach out to multiple people in order to get help with something. Sage Intacct takes the complication out of correcting mistakes. My favorite part is the ability to reclassify invoices and bills without having to post a series of correcting debits or credits and rebills when you just need to change a GL. I also love that you can edit a Journal entry after it is posted--Even if you have made a mistake at any point, error on the memo, transposed the amount, wrong GL or even posted the Debit & credit wrong. All you have to do is edit it, not make a mess of the GL by trying to correct it! I also love that almost everything is linked so you can get to the next step by just clicking. Not a fan of the new payments screen. It's just overcomplicated. It seems like they just release updates and they do'nt always make sense. Some of them take away the ease.
