My favorite thing about Intacct is the ability to consolidate multi-entity reporting structures within the software. It is easy to create customers, vendors, and projects in Sage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be difficult to run useful reports, and does not have FP&A plug-ins that could be helpful for finance departments. The platform also does not offer AP solutions to allow invoices to be processed directly in the system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage is always trying to keep up to date, and they are informative when changes are being made. Sage Intacct has helped our company transition to more centralized accounting. Our old system would not allow those changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Would like payroll to be part of Sage Intacct. Our organization will need to wait for the third-party company to adopt the new payroll versions before our company can purchase Payroll for Intacct. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user friendly means to use the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is so robust, it is hard to know what to implement and how to use all of the functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how upfront it is. It is very easy to operate, locate documents, and move things around. I think even the dimmest individuals would be able to use this program with ease. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do wish there was a way to view documents that have been deleted. There is many times in our company where we have to delete documents and we then have no way of locating them. We often find things by their sales order number, so that is why I just wish there was a "deleted" filter, that way anyone in our division can look up a document and find it was deleted rather than having to ask others. I like using Dimensions; they are mighty. As a nonprofit, we migrated from Quickbooks to Intacct in 2021 for two reasons: 1. We can track grant restrictions 2. Dynamic allocations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. Export to excel does not include formulas (I waste so many hours recreating formulas it's infuriating)
2. Implementation required a third party that messed up our configuration, and there was no help to fix the configuration error, which cost additional money for another third party to correct.
3. Quickbooks credit card processing was streamlined; Intacct does not have a native cc processor, and one has to build one for Stripe with a third party.
4. Product releases are confusing and slow. Announcement of Artificial Intelligence for Billing in 2021, but did not follow through with release until 2023, with no straightforward implementation instructions.
5. Dashboards are not very dynamic and visually unappealing.
6. Basic dashboard are weak compared to QuickBooks.
7. Report writing is complex and not user-friendly. Quickbooks out of the box reports are super easy in comparison. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can access the general ledger and the journal entries in one system. Our old system you had to look at two separate applications. I like that you can drill into each item on the general ledger and see who posted the entry and get their backup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that you can't remove a single attachment. You have to delete all the attachments you uploaded. I also don't like that you can't delete memorized entries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
