I love how easy it is to pick up from square one. Having been using QuickBooks before the change seemed daunting, but it was straightforward and easy to learn in under 3 months. The site is clean and easy to read. They are constantly rolling out updates to make the user experience more enjoyable. I am quite pleased with how easy the check deposits and AP invoices are. Least favorite thing is that there is no dark mode. For my disabilities, I function much better with a dark or dimmer system, and Intacct (as far as i am aware) is only sheet white, which gets draining on the eyes after 3-9 hours of use. I also do not see a text-to-speech option here for further accessibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have worked in different ERP platforms, among those Sage is found to be more user friendly. Every options are available on screen. We need not have to use any transaction codes. Its simple to use and almost every modules are available in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage intaact has some defects too. I noticed a defect that while updating the approval flow and if we have any changes required to be made after the initial set up, the user has to be given top level access and weare unable to restrcit the user by entity. Also some reports are not generated as required. Also when we are extractinf balancesheet, p/l reports its taking too much time to be downloaded. Lack of Operations. Sage Intacct could be great as Financial suite but it lacks multiple areas for Operation based companies or manufacturing companies Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. The Part I feel the best is it is easy to use and has various features a company requests for accounting.
2. The Integration from different websites such as Bill.com, and RAMP provides an easy connection and quick Sync ability.
3. Easy Implementation software for any kind of business.
4. Its auto logout feature which is best for security purpose.
5. The last one is the beta Interface which provides a filter feature in the top column which is very handy while reconciliation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. One area that I feel could be improved in Sage Intacct is the custom reporting functionality. Specifically, reports such as Bill Payments cannot be generated at the top level. For companies with more than five entities, this becomes a significant challenge during reporting.
2. Increasing the time frame for the auto logout feature will quick helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that I can do multiple things for one invoice in one system. I have to use Intacct every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. The terms are more geared towards accountants and not a billing support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reporting feature helps me on a daily basis to make key descisions on financials. I love how with one click I can get details of transactions happening in real time or even do an aging report and find out where something went ary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Sage on a daily basis and I need it to be quick and accurate. this was one of my key issues I was complaining baout my old system. Implementation took a bit and customizations, but it was well worth the wait. Customer service was a key help to all things timeline related. Our old system was integrated with ease and did not take long at all. Im glad we took the leap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Sage Intacct is its ease of use, which makes it simple for teams to navigate and manage financial tasks. The software is straightforward to set up, ensuring a smooth implementation process. Customer support is always responsive and helpful. Sage Intacct offers numerous features that cover all financial management needs. Additionally, its seamless integration with other systems ensures a smooth workflow across platforms, due to all these reasons the frequency of use is high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve can be steep for new users, and it may take time to become comfortable with the interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love using Sage Intacct for its user-friendly interface and efficiency in managing financial processes. It makes coding invoices and processing payments seamless, which helps keep everything organized and on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I’d say negatively about Sage Intacct is that some processes feel a bit rigid, especially when making changes or corrections. It also takes a few extra steps for tasks, which can slow things down a bit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage Intacct has been super helpful for managing finances at work. It makes tracking deposits, reconciling bank accounts, and keeping everything organized way easier. The cloud-based setup is great since I can access what I need from anywhere. It took some time to get used to, but once you get the hang of it, it saves a ton of time compared to manual processes. Definitely a solid tool for accounting and financial reporting! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could copy and paste from excel, that way i could more quickly add data to my entires when making them. I understand that uploads are a thing and I could make the entry outside of sage and them upload, but I would prefer making my entires in sage where my gl accounts and job specific functions/dimensions would populate as I am creating them. This just ensure's less errors on my part. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lots of options for processes; good for large businesses with lots of locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Too many options for processes; can take too many steps for small businesses.
I'm glad you are delaying, hopefully reversing, the decision to do away with the "receive a payment" option in AR. This is the one place where I can easily see everything open on an account, so even though it can unreasonably refuse to accept an entry (after correcting) or not always show all invoices, I use it almost exclusively to enter customer payments and look up what's outstanding.
Trying to enter a customer refund is cumbersome. That or I haven't been able to find a straightforward way to do this. Currently, I enter a debit adjustment to reverse the credit memo, then apply it. Then go to Cash Management/Manual Payment and enter the refund amount - as cash for tracking- only so it doesn't issue a check or CC entry. This often requires setup of a customer as an AP vendor, making the vendor list a jumble of AP vendors and customers.
Recently you changed the reference on overpayments/payments to customer accounts, to a random sequenced C number on the AR Aging Report. Why? I used to be able to easily figure out exactly what (check #) the credit resulted from because it labelled the credit as such. Now I have to go into another screen - yet another step.
Just some thoughts from an amateur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sage Intacct is great for developers because of its solid API and easy integration options. The API is well-documented and structured, making it simple to connect with other apps and automate tasks. Pulling data and customizing reports is a breeze, which is super helpful for building custom financial workflows. Since it’s cloud-based, it’s scalable and gives real-time access to data, making development more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some features require workarounds, and the documentation, while detailed, can sometimes be unclear or lack real-world examples. Debugging API issues can also be tricky since error messages aren’t always specific enough, and there aren’t enough logs to easily track issues. Additionally, the UI for admin tasks and setup isn’t the most intuitive, which can slow down configuration and testing. While it’s a strong platform overall, there’s room for improvement in making development and integration smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
