What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I love that Sage Intacct is cloud-based. Our team can access the platform from anywhere. We also really like the flexibility with dimensions. We can better understand the nuances of our expenses and revenue. The report builder is easy to duplicate and edit reports. I like that you can integrate Chatter. It's really easy to ask questions about expenses right in the system. I highly recommend that you use the feature of printing checks with signatures. We do that for checks under $10k and it really speeds up our approval processes. Another upside is how easily Intacct integrates with other systems. I like how easily the system integrates with Expensify. Expensify is a great tool and it integrates pretty seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

I dislike the difficulty of reporting. Reports aren't as straightforward as in other systems. The fact that we can't run a report with any start and end date without ending the full report is odd. It's also difficult to upload our org. budget.

I wish it was easy to see who expenses were missing approvals from. We have multiple approvers and I find it difficult to know who to follow up with to ask for them to go in and submit their approval!

I also wish it was possible to see what other users see. Sometimes we're trying to troubleshoot and need to share screens to see what one another see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Sage Intacct:

I would advise them to get a partner for implementation. I would also advise them to speak with people in their industry that use the tool. What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

We're solving the problem of enabling team members to have clear data about the expenses and revenue they're managing to. We're also problem solving around having the ability to access our financial records anywhere we go. Since the tool is cloud-based, it's easy to login wherever on a wide array of devices. The scheduled reporting also allows us to share financial information around the organization with little to no effort. What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Okay, so while I'm a big fan, no system is perfect, right? If I had to nitpick something someone could dislike about Sage Intacct, it might be the initial learning curve and implementation.

Because it's such a robust and feature-rich platform, getting everything set up exactly how you want it and training your team can take a bit more time and effort upfront compared to simpler, less comprehensive solutions. It's not necessarily difficult, but it does require a commitment to the process. If a business is looking for something incredibly basic right out of the box with minimal setup, the depth of Intacct might feel a little overwhelming initially. What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Basically, it kicks a lot of the annoying parts of my job to the curb. Think mountains of invoices to type in? Intacct often grabs that info automatically – huge time-saver and way fewer typos. Chasing down who needs to approve what? It routes invoices electronically and pings people, so stuff doesn't get stuck on someone's desk for ages.

I can actually see what's going on with our bills in real-time, not just some dusty report at the end of the month. Need to know if we paid a certain vendor? Boom, it's right there. Got different parts of the company? Intacct keeps all those bills straight in one place, which is a lifesaver. Plus, it's got my back on catching mistakes like paying the same bill twice – that's always a good thing!

So, instead of drowning in paperwork and playing detective, I can actually get stuff done faster and more accurately. It makes my day way less chaotic and honestly, makes me feel like I'm actually contributing instead of just pushing paper. It's a solid tool that makes my AP life much easier. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I have worked in different ERP platforms, among those Sage is found to be more user friendly. Every options are available on screen.We need not have to use any transaction codes.Its simple to use and almost every modules are available in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

Sage intaact has some defects too. I noticed a defect that while updating the approval flow and if we have any changes required to be made after the initial set up, the user has to be given top level access and weare unable to restrcit the user by entity.Also some reports are not generated as required.Also when we are extractinf balancesheet, p/l reports its taking too much time to be downloaded. What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

The ease of using the Sage is remarkable.Generally I am using the Time and expense module , GL , AP modules. I could find that all the intended cost and revenue can be ascertained departmentwise, entitywise etc.We can actually compare the trend analysis of the entity. Its time saving. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

What problems is Sage Intacct solving and how is that benefiting you?

Now, most of business i have done for Sage Intacct is that Intacct solves their problem of reporting. A lot of companies has to put in alot of work in creating reports or sorting in excel to get the particular amounts or balances to see. Sage Intacct vast varienty of reports or easily i can create new reports (customised) or you know, i can easily create a dashboard for the client. Done migration for the company which has 20 entities. literally business for 20 different locations and i could show them balances at once in Dashboard. Game Changer!! What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

1. The Part I feel the best is it is easy to use and has various features a company requests for accounting.

2. The Integration from different websites such as Bill.com, and RAMP provides an easy connection and quick Sync ability.

3. Easy Implementation software for any kind of business.

4. Its auto logout feature which is best for security purpose.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

1. One area that I feel could be improved in Sage Intacct is the custom reporting functionality. Specifically, reports such as Bill Payments cannot be generated at the top level. For companies with more than five entities, this becomes a significant challenge during reporting.

Recently our company started with automation of AP Bill process, where Intacct is playing a big role acting as a database for bill processing automation which became possible only because of its easy integration with multiple software and easy accessibility of the vendor's details information. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Intacct is a huge upgrade for our company. It works seamlessly with our other software. The reports are accurate and easy to access. The reports are also customizable to meet our needs. I am able to favorite reports for quicker access. Almost all settings and setup options are adjustable so I can set my pages and reports up how I want. What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I love that I can do multiple things for one invoice in one system. I have to use Intacct every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. The terms are more geared towards accountants and not a billing support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It helps me find copies of invoices for customers and reverse and reprocess invoices. All of these tasks help the customer get invoices paid and make sure the right customer is paying. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

I use Sage on a daily basis and I need it to be quick and accurate. this was one of my key issues I was complaining baout my old system. Implementation took a bit and customizations, but it was well worth the wait. Customer service was a key help to all things timeline related. What do you like best about Sage Intacct?

Sage has honestly made a lot of things easier for us. One of the biggest improvements is being able to go back and update journal entries without having to create an separate adjusting journal entry. That alone saves time and keeps everything cleaner.

It also takes care of intercompany transactions automatically, which used to be a headache we had to do manually. That's been a huge help.

Another big plus is that it connects directly to Stampli, which makes processing invoices way more efficient. Everything syncs up really well, and we don't have to double-handle anything.

Compared to the old version of Dynamics we were using, the interface is a lot more modern and easier to work with. Reports are easier to customize, and since it's cloud based, I have been able to transition to work from home! Overall, it's just made our whole workflow smoother. What do you dislike about Sage Intacct?

The prepaid module is honestly the one area I really do not care for. The way it's set up to enter the information for the prepaid is confusing and frustrating. I've tried it a few times, but it just ends up being more frustrating than helpful. At this point, I just do my prepaid entries manually because it's faster and I know they will be correct. Sage Intacct has saved me a ton of time. Before, things like intercompany transactions had to be entered manually, which could get messy fast. Now it handles those automatically and I don't have to second guess if I missed something.

It's also made updates way easier, I can fix journal entries without needing to run a whole adjusting entry, which makes everything cleaner. On top of that, it connects to Stampli, so invoices flow through a lot smoother than they used to.

Overall, it's taken a lot of repetitive, annoying stuff off of my plate so I can focus on actual work instead of fixing problems caused by outdated software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
