Sage Intacct's accounting software helps in end to end accounting process. I work in the accounts payable and it's features of creation of new vendor, extracting reports, processing bills - whether a single currency bill or multi-currency bill is easy to understand and once understood easy of use as well.
The feature of closing accounting books during the month-end helps our firm to maintain our records accurate enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The different dimensions (Classes, Departments, vendors, Customer etc.) are split in different applications. If it can be merged into one single application - "Company", it would be more easy to use.
Also, the sync errors through Intacct and our Billing software causes disruption in our accounting processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. The Part I feel the best is it is easy to use and has various features a company requests for accounting.
2. The Integration from different websites such as Bill.com, and RAMP provides an easy connection and quick Sync ability.
3. Easy Implementation software for any kind of business.
4. Its auto logout feature which is best for security purpose.
5. The last one is the beta Interface which provides a filter feature in the top column which is very handy while reconciliation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. One area that I feel could be improved in Sage Intacct is the custom reporting functionality. Specifically, reports such as Bill Payments cannot be generated at the top level. For companies with more than five entities, this becomes a significant challenge during reporting.
2. Increasing the time frame for the auto logout feature will quick helpful Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that I can do multiple things for one invoice in one system. I have to use Intacct every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long it initially takes to get to the needed pages. Having to open multiple tabs makes searching easier and cuts down on the amount of time I spend waiting for the page to load. It would be easier for me if everything I needed to do with one invoice could be done from the same page. I frequently have to refund invoices, and this can't be done from Intacct. I have to go to Intacct to find the information and take it to Braintree (both EFT and CC versions). There's about a week's waiting period for everything to process and sync; then I have to use Intacct to verse on one page and reprocess on another. It isn't very easy to learn at first either. Since there are so many back and forth steps, a lot of manual fixes, one thing at a time, it takes a lot of patience and asking questions. The terms are more geared towards accountants and not a billing support team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The reporting feature helps me on a daily basis to make key descisions on financials. I love how with one click I can get details of transactions happening in real time or even do an aging report and find out where something went ary. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Sage on a daily basis and I need it to be quick and accurate. this was one of my key issues I was complaining baout my old system. Implementation took a bit and customizations, but it was well worth the wait. Customer service was a key help to all things timeline related. Our old system was integrated with ease and did not take long at all. Im glad we took the leap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Sage Intacct is its ease of use, which makes it simple for teams to navigate and manage financial tasks. The software is straightforward to set up, ensuring a smooth implementation process. Customer support is always responsive and helpful. Sage Intacct offers numerous features that cover all financial management needs. Additionally, its seamless integration with other systems ensures a smooth workflow across platforms, due to all these reasons the frequency of use is high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The learning curve can be steep for new users, and it may take time to become comfortable with the interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Whether it's a fiscal year or calendar year entity no longer matters when it comes time to provide the auditors their required reports! Now, I can customize those reports in advance and assign outside entities to their proper places. Coming from a legacy accounting software product, I've been very impressed with the search functionality of Sage Intaact's software! I'm used to being forced to know precisely where to look for the answers I'm seeking, but even the best accountants aren't software code mindreaders. Being able to enter brief search criteria and use the "%" function to get a slew of results has been a HUGE time saver for both myself and my team, who no longer need to explain to the accountant who is new to non-profit accounting where to look for the appropriate backup. I've loved everything about it so far, especially the intuitive web-based interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are very few user friendly aspects of Intacct, the ability to consolidate multiple financials quickly is something they do well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. You never know what's not going to work next. Every month Sage has a new issue when trying to produce AIA style billings.
2. They claim there is one standard cost code for all jobs, this is beyond a lie. Every single job in the system has its own set of cost codes that you have to manage. We have around 400 actual cost codes but have to manage over 800,000 thanks to how they have this set up.
3. The GL interface is extremely clunky and slow for user input. They don't allow you to copy the job or the entity down so you have to input on every transaction line. Their default setting doesn't work unless ever line item is going to the same project because every job has it's own set of cost codes.
4. Researching in Intacct is slow and difficult, if you've used Sage 100 in the past this will be a huge down grade
5. The Interactive Custom Reports are a joke. Who designs a report tool that you cannot display what information was pulled in the report? What job is this, what time period, any cost codes excluded? You'll never know once you hit print.
6. Naming conventions are not consistent; there is no consistency between the names used on the Object list and what is used in the Custom reports which makes trying to build out your own reports difficult. Which is a major issue as the system comes with no stock reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone handling purchasing, operations, & account management, and using Sage Intacct on a daily basis, what I like most about Sage Intacct is how it simplifies financial processes and keeps everything organized in real time. Instead of juggling multiple spreadsheets or manually tracking orders and expenses, everything is centralized, making it much easier to manage purchasing workflows, financial records, and client accounts efficiently.
For purchasing, it is helpful to have a clear, real-time view of vendor transactions, expenses, and order history without having to dig through emails or paper records. The ability to track inventory, costs, and past purchases ensures nothing gets overlooked, helping to maintain accurate records and avoid duplicate or unnecessary orders. This is especially useful when working with multiple vendors or managing high-volume procurement, as I can quickly pull up details on pricing, past orders, or payment history without delays.
Another key advantage is Sage Intacct is cloud-based, and I do not have to be at a specific location to check on purchasing, financials, or order statuses. Whether I am in the office, working remotely, or on the go, I can easily access real-time data and keep things moving. This is particularly beneficial when urgent orders come up and need to be addressed quickly.
On the operations side, the software helps with budget tracking, cost analysis, and overall financial visibility. I can generate detailed reports to see spending trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and make better purchasing decisions. The ability to integrate with other systems, such as inventory management or CRM software, further streamlines operations by ensuring purchasing, finance, and sales teams are always working with the same up-to-date information.
In account management, Sage Intacct makes it easy to track client orders, billing, and revenue streams. Having all financial data in one place ensures invoices are accurate, payments are processed correctly, and client accounts are up to date. If a client has a question about an order or invoice, I can quickly access the necessary details and resolve issues efficiently, providing accurate and timely customer support.
Overall, what I like most is how organized, user-friendly, and efficient Sage Intacct is for managing purchasing, order entry, and client accounts. It saves time, reduces errors, and ensures smooth daily operations, making it an essential tool for staying on top of operational processes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My biggest frustration with Sage Intacct is how poorly it integrates with QStock and certain aspects of Salesforce. Since both are widely used inventory and sales management systems, I expected a seamless connection, but instead, integrations are unreliable.
There are frequent discrepancies for item quantities on order, on hand, on hold, & available where data between the two systems does not match up, causing discrepancies between purchase orders, inventory counts, and customer orders. This often means our teams have to manually double-check data, which completely defeats the purpose of having an integrated, automated system.
Another issue is updates between Sage Intacct and QStock don’t always push through properly or in a timely manner, which can lead to delays in tracking received goods, verifying stock levels, and processing customer orders. This makes it harder to ensure accurate purchasing decisions because I cannot fully trust the inventory data is correct.
It also lacks seamless two-way communication, meaning I sometimes have to re-enter or adjust information in both Salesforce & Intacct systems manually. This not only wastes time but also increases the risk of errors in customer account records.
If Sage Intacct had a more reliable integration with QStock and Salesforce, it would make purchasing and inventory management much smoother. Right now, the inefficiencies force unnecessary workarounds, which is frustrating when trying to maintain accuracy and efficiency in operations.
Lastly, it is frustrating that some fields are unavailable to add as columns in personalized views. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sage has many ways to customize your data, from transaction types, general ledger entry categories, inventory details, and more. The indivdiual modules are fairly easy to learn and equip for all levels of entry detail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While being able to create and manipulate Sage fields in the different modules is helpful, report design is a voyage of self-discovery and individual effort. Sage does not have a data dictionary, so selecting fields for obtaining data is trial and error, and many duplicates of the same field names are difficult to distinguish when designing reports. Security is also challenging, as the subscription method is not always clear by individual or role. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have been using Sage Intacct for over 2 years and it is by far my favorite accounting software I have ever used. It is extremely user friendly and does not allow for mistakes. There are so many wonderful features, not to mention keeping your tax information together for year end 1099's. The ease of integrating and learning how to use Sage Intacct was wonderful. If I ever had issues, customer support was always extremely helpful with any problems. I use Sage Intacct almost daily and appreciate the helpful updates that come frequently. I don't really have any dislikes about Sage Intacct. It is so user friendly and easy to train others on when needed. The fact that it does not let you make errors is #1. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The financial and custom report writer tools are brilliant and allow you to produce ad hoc reports or more standard reports and management account report packs to run on a monthly basis. The dashboard view also always a more visual representation of our data which aids decision making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be better if the dashboard view in Sage Intacct could be exported in an easy to read format so that it could be distributed to key stakeholders in a paper form rather than relying on self service. At the moment when the dashboard is exported the formatting changes significantly to a poorer format Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
