What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

The visual dashboards are a great way to be able to keep across performance at a glance. I like how you can build reports to further deep dive into performance. I think it is really progressive when it comes to find new publishers with new AI tool. This is amazing, as previously this was tricky to find new publishers based off their name alone. What do you dislike about Rakuten Advertising?

It would be great to be able to load paid placements into the dashboard as soon as you book. Instead of having to wait for that particular month. It would also be great to attribute spend to previous months for reporting purposes.

For example, it bonus payments are made early or late then the following year when comparing data is it not an accurate reflection.

It would also be great to see tracking and commission spend together to be able to track in the dashboard the true ROI.

Lastly, it would be great the dates on the dashboard so I can track both the calendar year and our French calendar year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

They are sometimes not accurate about measuring the reports. I noticed some advertizers do not share the exact numbers. The audit team of Rakuten doesn't go above and beyond to question them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

The platform is very user friendly and there are a lot of helpful tools for reporting, publisher discovery, and outreach. Their support team is very reliable and friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rakuten Advertising?

I use Rakuten almost daily and there is really nothing I can pinpoint as a dislike. It is easy to onboard influencers, send new and updated rates, track sales, etc. It meets all of my needs as both an influencer specialist and affiliate account manager. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Rakuten Advertising solving and how is that benefiting you?

In my role, it can be really difficult to onboard influencers who are unfamiliar with affiliate networks. Rakuten has really simplified the process for my team, allowing us to recruit more high-converting creators for our clients and their programs Rakuten Advertising also solves the problem of finding unique publishers for each client's niche. What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

The agency support is incredible, and I LOVE the monthly agency newsletters. They are extremely helpful in finding new partnerships. In addition, Rakuten has some of the best conferences -- they're organized, well put together, and nicely intimate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rakuten Advertising?

The UI of the network isn't my favorite. My least favorite thing about the network is when I have to change commissions for affiliates. I have to follow up with the affiliates to accept the CPA whereas other networks just automatically changes it by the next business day. It creates a lot of manual work and not a lot of control for how us as brands/agencies want to manage the efficiency of our channel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

I like that Rakuten Advertising is very easy to use! The platform sections are clear and it's simple to navigate. I don't have to waste any time trying to figure out where the information I'm looking for would be housed.

Also the reporting insights are very helpful. It's also extremely easy to upload textlinks & banners to the network which I can't say about other networks I've worked in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The one thing that I I don't love about Rakuten Advertising is that going through affiliate applications is not super intuitive. What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

Rakuten Advertising is by far the easiest affiliate network of the many i've used in my time in the field. The platform is laid out in such a way that it is very easy to find what you're looking for, onboard publishers, create links and assets, and track performance. Their modernized reporting makes finding even the deepest of info a breeze. Subnetwork transparency was a game changer. RA also gives you the best agency side contacts, who provide detailed new information on a regular basis and are extremely responsive to questions and concerns. It is also extremely easy to set up RA for a new affiliate client or Migration. For all of this, we now operate a large majority of our clients on Rakuten. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Rakuten Advertising?

For as good as RA is, there are a few small missing features, like being able to add collumns of information when looking at lists of publishers in your program or that have been extended a given offer. The biggest fault though is the inaccurate publisher contact info. What do you like best about Rakuten Advertising?

Rakuten Advertising has created a very user friendly and innovative platform that creates a quick and simplified way to deploy technical integrations or unique implementations and receive access to incredible features when it comes to running the affiliate/partnership channel.

Downsides are difficult to outline with this particular platform. Whenever we run into any issues from a product or technical standpoint, their teams are so quick to help provide additional training to us or simply resolve the issue alongside us, that it hardly becomes a problem in the first place. Rakuten helps solve some of the industry problems like proper attribution and tracking in today's online maze of new policies, privacy restrictions, and consumer protection laws.

They utilize new opportunities (like Artificial Intelligence) in a measured and impactful manner that creates more effeciency and within their network. Running a brand affiliate program is hard work, though Rakuten Advertising has bridged the gap between functionality and effectiency across their entire product line that we can get more done, with less time.

The final piece is their ability to truly underscore Customer Service. Never has there been a time our team has felt undersupported. Our small team often relies on the RAK agency team (Bailey, Aliza, and Carey) for guidance. They are always responsive and helpful with any scenrio we have.
