I've been using the Awin affiliate program, and I absolutely love it! Its user-friendly interface makes managing partnerships incredibly easy, even for someone new to affiliate marketing. While I appreciate many aspects of the Awin affiliate program, one area that could use improvement is the interface. It feels quite outdated and not as intuitive as it could be, especially compared to other modern platforms. Navigating through certain features can be clunky, which occasionally slows down productivity. A fresh, streamlined design would make the experience so much better and more user-friendly! I find Awin is generally pretty easy to use, so even if you are new to the network, it doesn't take a long time to figure out. Another aspect I love about it, is the ability to schedule commission increases/decreases over time. Some other affiliate networks don't allow you to schedule multiple CPA changes for one publisher and you have to wait until the first scheduled change is in effect, before you can schedule the next one. The fact that I can do this on Awin makes things much easier, especially during holiday breaks when I am not online to make adjustments. I am also able to make last minute changes to commission rates without needed much lead time. Lastly, in my experience, their customer support is pretty quick. I would say my main flaw with Awin is it does seem to time-out relatively quick if I am not actively using it, so I do have to sign back often. I do use it several times a day, but I may work on something else for a little, and when I come back, it will be signed out. With that being said, it doesn't take very long to login. When taking over the management of the AWIN account, I found it very user friendly and easy to make the changes I needed to transfer access to myself. I also found it easy to navigate around the features where I found the product feed was out of date and not set up dynamically. As an advertiser on a self service account, access to customer support is limited. I also would like more control over the "my creative" area. I'd like to be able to delete creative and it would be helpful if it was managed dynamically so if we deleted it, it would be removed from the entire publisher network. Awin is excellent in connecting a business to different affiliate partners internationally, across multiple disciplines. It streamlines the time and manual effort of undercovering suitable affiliate partners manually.

Also fairly easy to set up commission structures and creative comms/assets.

The cost is a low barrier to entry, especially for a start-up that's financially conscience.

The UX/UI can feel clunky at times, making it difficult to seamlessly navigate the platform.

There are some basic functional tasks that should be editable/available but are not - for example, to set up email notifications, Awin recommends reaching out to a support assistant. I would expect this'd be available under my account settings.

Additionally, although our business is registered as UK and US only - we often have publishers/affiliates reaching out from EU countries which aren't relevant to us. Feels like the filtering isn't quite right.

This final note is more a reflection on the affiliates themselves, but many use titles and names that aren't very clear. It often takes additional effort to decipher who the affiliate is and whether they're relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Finding new partners to mathc our ever changing goals couldnt be simplier, connecting is simple and allows us to achive our goals much quicker, whether thats driving more traffic or increasing CVR rate.

While I appreciate many aspects of Awin's platform, I find the Commission Manager tool could use some improvement. It can be cumbersome to navigate when it comes to messaging affiliates directly after changing their rates, which makes communication less efficient. Additionally, having a report that clearly breaks down new versus existing customer sales across publishers would be incredibly useful. This kind of insight would allow us to better understand performance dynamics and tailor our strategies more effectively. I love Awin for their reporting dashboard and use it on a daily basis. It's very concise and easy to use when you're looking at the data. I can see all the KPIs that I find useful to determine how to improve my program. We switched from CJ to Awin and I think it was the best move we made since the fees are lower and easy set up. I like how versatile Awin is and since I use it daily I'm happy with all the data and information you can pull from there. You can easily send out newsletters, upload creatives, and offers which is a big plus. You can easily pull up reports and it doesn't take long to load. Customer support gets back to you quickly too. Sometimes Awin errors a lot. It also tends to logs you out way too often which is frustrating because if I'm doing something like a newsletter and have to go get and edit a creative and it takes a few minutes it'll log you out which then forces you to lose your progress.
