Sharefile has many tools that make it easy to use the software, apps to use Desktop or mobile device, attaching files securely or over certain size limits, integrations with other software like RightSignature. It is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are a few downsides to the software - setting permissions for folders is not easily managed by all users that have admin rights, notification settings for uploads can be easily missed and catching/resetting them is cumbersome, and self-service billing was a little bit of challenge (I was on auto-pay, when changing subscriptions that was changed and I could not get contacted by support at Citrix after leaving messages). It's most helpful to be able to send documents to clients that are safely encrypted and also provide clients with a secure link for uploading their personal information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system security/encryption coupled with the windows explorer extension. It sets ShareFile apart from other web-based storage systems, by syncing and bringing the data I use and share with others, to my laptop. ShareFile is easy to use easy to upskill others in a matter of minutes and secure enough to trust that not only my data won't be lost, but others won't be able to access it without my express permission. ShareFile doesn't seem to integrate with some of our other platforms like some MS products, such as Sharepoint and Office particularly well. But the various extensions such as the explorer and Outlook extensions allow it to overcome this anyway, so it's a very minor gripe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It initially takes some to connect to server and even to reflect changes made to files . If speed and connectivity are improved then it will be best. Speed is something to improve upon Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

So sorry you switched to Citrix files. Our data has never felt less secure since we have been with your company. It is slow - takes too long to update - even when I have a file checked out, constantly getting notices when I save that a newer version is available - how is that possible - I have the file checked out? It is not just me - not just my computer or network, all of our users report the same issues. The transition was terrible and your help desk had no idea how to help.
