I always feel like to need to double-check permissions because of how many options there are. There are also multiple ways to accomplish various tasks, which is great, but makes creating procedures for staff challenging because different people like to do things in different ways. What I like best about Citrix Sahrefile is the ability to send files that are too large to send via email to our clients and subject matter experts for review. What I like least about Citrix Sharefile is the fact that they are less known by end users than some of their competitors like Dropbox. As a part of Citrix Workspace, it’s the only solution that brings all files together in a unified experience while giving IT enterprise-grade security and flexibility.When employees share a confidential document, you want to be sure that only the intended recipient reads it. Unfortunately, it’s often too easy for files to be forwarded to or screen-captured by unauthorized readers. Citrix Content Collaboration’s information rights management (IRM) adds a layer of security to document sharing by allowing the file owner to add a watermark with the recipient’s name, email, and IP address to prevent screen captures. Be aware of security issue - You can self elevate your access from a shared folder that you have only 'Upload' access to 'Admin' access by moving the shared folder to your personal folder in Sharefile then move it back to where it was. Once moved back, you now have 'Admin' access to this shared folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having use other Citrix tools previously, I have really enjoyed how easy and simple it is to use this tool for group collaboration and content management. I find that some tools aren't all that helpful, but Citrix has been a great tool to utilize especially in this virtual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
