What do you like best about Pinpoint?

We've been using Pinpoint as our first ATS at Bede, and I’m really glad we chose this platform. It’s incredibly easy to use, both for our hiring managers and candidates, and we’ve never had any issues with accessibility or navigation.

The reporting tools are solid and there are so many customisable features that make the recruitment process smoother. But the real standout is the customer support - no matter the query, big or small, the team is always just a message away and genuinely happy to help.

What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Pinpoint is simple to configure and easy to for hiring managers to navigate, it can be tailored to suit your organisational culture and tone and feel and this is something we had previously struggled to address with our existing recruitment practices.

It has brought about improved engagement with applicants and our hiring managers and reduced our time to hire.

We saw a successful return on investment in less than 6 months.

Our recruitment process has come more slick, consistent, transparent and fair as a result.

What do you like best about Pinpoint?

The ability for different interviewers to join in the platform as different roles, interview questions that could be ranked and weighted, having the hiring manager see how their panelist rated the candidates, and having candidate background and resume all in one platform. The analytics is super relevant and also a hiring manager ability to see what other hiring manager's questions is a time saver.

I also think the candidate experience in applying for jobs at our organization is so much better because, it is easer to apply to our jobs now, we can set automated replies, we also get to set different processes for stages of hiring that is transparent, and other internal processes can be customized to our needs. This makes our approach with new candidates more personable.

What problems is Pinpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pinpoint automates paperwork, and candidate tracking that saves us / small business time. It's really not about "money" because it's hard to quantify what we now have, except with time: access candidate database, how they did, what are our updated hiring profile stats, and getting feedback from candidates on the process. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Pinpoint is potentially the most user friendly ATS I have ever used, it was easy to get set up, felt supported through the implementation and it has required minimum time in training hiring managers and interviewers on how to use the various features due to its user friendly nature.

There are also always improvements/changes being made which are not mandatory, so if something already works for us as it is, we can keep it that way.

Working with Rachel at Pinpoint through the implementation was also great, she kept us in line and on time to hit our go-live date. She took the time to really understand what we needed, so we could set up Pinpoint in a way that worked for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Pinpoint?

There are still some areas for improvement, as there is with all systems. The main thing we would change is the ability to instantly see 1st interview scorecards when conducting a 2nd interview. The info is accessible within Pinpoint, however some interviewers will not follow the clicks to review the scorecard before a 2nd interview Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Pinpoint solving and how is that benefiting you?

Pinpoint is saving our recruitment team time, which was previously spent carrying out manual admin tasks (emailing candidates, scheduling interviews etc.) Using Pinpoint has allowed the team more time to consider direct sourcing. We are also seeing more detailed interview notes and feedback with the use of scorecards from our interviewers, often provided directly after the interview - which speeds up our recruitment process and reduces the recruitment teams time in chasing feedback.

We have also implemented Pinpoint for our Early Talent recruitment and the process and automations have saved a huge amount of time in the processing of large batches of candidates and scoring for assessment.

Having both our Experienced Hire and Early Talent teams using the same ATS has also gained positive feedback from many of the SLT and wider teams involved in the recruitment processes. We are able to pull reports on ED&I and also the processes to see where there might be delays and make changes accordingly to improve. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Really easy to navigate the day to day use for recruiters and hiring managers. Great careers site and job advert templates. I use it everyday and never had any major issues that stopped me from doing my job. What do you dislike about Pinpoint?

The reporting hub is getting better but there's still a lof of room for improvement. I'd also like to see some new AI features that many other ATS' are implementing.

Some parts of the system such as templates, can be a bit all over the place, and setting them up during implementation or editing them after can be slightly confusing at times.

I think Pinpoint has certainly improved the experience we're bale to provide to our candidates. They make scheduling interviews super easy, which saves time as it reduces a lot of the back and dorth we used to have to do with candidates. Scorecards are easy to set up and use, allowing for a fair comparison of candidates. They're constantly bringing out new features which also improve the system. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

The system is really easy to use. It's very intuitive and can easily be picked up by anyone using it.

The support from the team from implementation to ongoing customer support is amazing. There's always someone on hand to help and the ongoing support I've received from our Customer Success Manager (Rachel Larkin) has been faultless.

The system itself does everything we need an ATS to do and more. I especially like how easy it is to integrate with our existing jobs boards, calendars and the native integration with DropBox Sign makes issueing offers and contract super easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Pinpoint?

The implementation and integration process was smooth and well-supported, with a responsive and knowledgeable support team that guided us every step of the way. The ability to customised templates and the number of features have enabled us to personalise our setup for each role in the business, making sure all candidates get the best experience and we set them up for success during their interview process. Although we are fairly new users of Pinpoint, the data reporting and dashboards have been fantastic, providing detailed insights that will only become more valuable as we gather additional data which we havce been missing as a business in pur previous platform. Occasionally navigation between sections feels less intuitive than expected, which can slow down the managers when using the platform. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Pinpoint has really transformed how our recruitment has taken place. By being able to contain all steps required to advertise, review, interview, hire and onboard within the system has made our recruitment process monumentally more efficient.

The process of implementing the system was super smooth. Really love the way implementation is conducted by the system users, but with consistent and attentive support from our Customer Success Manager. I cannot express enough gratitude to Rachel, our CSM, who has been truly fantastic. So helpful, so knowledgeable, and ensured she really understood our needs to best advise on how the system should be set up at each stage.

Since going live, we have been able to post multiple jobs, with a lot of internal positive feedback about how easy the system is to use.

And seeing how many interested potential future candidates are registering with the talent pipeline, it's great to see the increase of engagement with our careers page and number of applicants for live jobs!

What do you like best about Pinpoint?

Having recently gone live with the system, I can honestly say it is the best ATS I have ever come across during my 20 years in recruitment. What do you like best about Pinpoint?

As an internal recruiter, I love how customisable every stage of the recruitment process is within Pinpoint. Creating templates, sign-off workflows and scorecards allows me to create a positive candidate process whether we are doing high volume or smaller hires. It cuts out a lot of the administrative legwork and I LOVE being able to book in several candidates for interviews with a single click, whilst providing them with a 'personlised' experience.

When things dont go right, the live chat with the support team comes to the rescue. They are always available when I need them, and communicate well in advance if they are going to be unavailable due to public holidays etc. The on-demand help videos were super usefule when I started out too. I can also see that the regular updates and improvements come directly from customer feedback, so it feels like you are using something great that is constantly getting better. What do you dislike about Pinpoint?

The integrations with other platforms and software is still lacking a bit. For example, LinkedIn is still not fully there when it comes to tracking where applications come from. Also the Reporting side of things is still a bit confusing, but that may be down to user error! Also, whilst the customisation of templates si great, it would be helpful to be able to build a one-off interview style within the job window rather than go through the template screen and then back into the job screen once you are done.
