What do you like best about Oyster?

With minimal effort, I was able to start working for a British company using Oyster while living in Germany. The setup process was simple my side and through a flat fee, I could recieve a salary from the UK company and the German tax and insurance and medical was all taken care of. I use a timesheet monthly to record my hours and their portal makes it easy to communicate with them. Their support and communication is excellent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oyster?

What do you like best about Oyster?

I use Oyster as an overseas freelancer and it’s one of the best platforms for receiving earnings from my US-based employer. The process is smooth and reliable, making international payments much easier to manage with no hidden charges. I appreciate Oyster's user-friendly and well-organized interface, which is simple and easy to navigate. What do you like best about Oyster?

I've been using Oyster for about a year now, and it has been a wonderful experience so far. I particularly like the support I get from the team whenever I have questions, especially regarding onboarding and payments. The onboarding process is also very smooth, which I appreciate. Whenever I reach out to support, I get responses within a few minutes, less than an hour, and they always manage to resolve my queries efficiently. The initial setup was also very smooth; I just had to input my information and upload my KYC document, and I was onboarded within hours without any difficulty. What do you dislike about Oyster?

I do believe this regards editing contracts, I have a feeling that mostly the contract can only be edited by the client, and it'd be so nice if the contractor could also add or modify parts, especially low-risk sections, without needing to reach out to the client. It would be great to modify it on my part and have a notice sent to the client to alert them or to let them know that the contractor made this modification. On the contract. What do you like best about Oyster?

I like the fact that I am able to input multiple account payment details. I have several different accounts and then I am able to share all those different account details in different currencies to the people that are paying me. Oyster streamlines my finances by allowing me to manage payments through multiple accounts, which helps with my financial audit practices. Being able to have a log of all the money that has come in and see the different vendors and the different companies paying me helps me keep neat financial books, records, and accounts. This makes it easier to streamline either my tax payments or my budgeting month to month. The setup and onboarding was fairly easy and took me less than five minutes to input everything. I really appreciate Oyster's user-friendly platform. I also value the communication and professionalism of the team. The initial setup was very easy, and I appreciate how everything has a specific place, with all the material needed for my employment in France already there and converted to the local process. What do you like best about Oyster?

Oyster is very easy to use and is very clear in allowing us to set up employees that live elsewhere. I also enjoy the cost calculator feature which is very useful when deciding whether to hire employees or not. It is easy to bring this data quickly to a discussion with Leadership which before required me to spend a long time working out the cost of bringing people through an EOR. And the hiring process and onboarding flows through Oyster are very simple to use and easy to complete make it less cumbersome for us as admin and for employees. What do you dislike about Oyster?

It seems like Oyster is built on the basis that you only hire employees through oyster and that most customers would use it this way. Specifically for us, and I am sure more businesses are the same, it would be better if the integration with HRIS was more complete, understanding that businesses will generally use a separate HRIS to manage all their employees and it would be ideal to Oyster would auto sync with our HRIS.

This would be everything from documents to details. This is the bit I dislike most about Oyster because it creates additional admin work to have to keep both systems up to date.

As an additional, it would be good if it could integrate with out ATS system Workable too or any ATS so when we hire someone it moves straight to Oyster if applicable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The thing I like most about Oyster is the customer service. The manager I dealt with was very friendly and direct in communication, always getting back to me within a couple of hours, so I didn't have to wait long for replies. The mobile app and the interface are also quite neat and very clear to work with, enabling me to do work more efficiently and in less time. The initial setup was very easy; I was able to create my account and start using it right away. I'm totally positive about it and will definitely recommend Oyster whenever there's an opportunity. I find Oyster very useful. The website is very user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy to navigate between different parts. The process for holiday requests is straightforward. What do you dislike about Oyster?

I think some of the administrative rules for Poland could be more simplified. They have long texts about different rules, which are quite lengthy and take time to digest. The real key takeaways could be better designed and highlighted. Expensing is not the most advanced way, and it still takes time. For example, for the per diem part, I need to create a separate ticket, which I can't submit immediately via the expense section. Another thing is the lack of visibility on expenses; it just does not exist. You see it on the payroll, but there should be some visibility on when and how much is going to be paid. So, the visibility into expenses is a major gap and is the biggest highlight that needs improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that there's a quick response whenever I have queries about my job. The dashboard and process are good, everything is easy to understand.
