I love that I can use Notion simply and grow more complex in my use as time goes on. I really only use a fraction of its features, but the more i learn the more i love it. This is what I wanted, something to start simply, and then get more and more out of it as I go on. I used to use multiple apps and now i only use Notion, which is the best. My learning curve was steep. I would really love a weekly email giving me a new way to incorporate features or explaining features I dont understand, especially the Ai. I currently use a separate Ai (actually 2!) and would love to not need those apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notion is a great tool that enables you to get organized and create workflows that make sense for what you're trying to do. If you have an idea of how you want to put together a project or organize your work, I can guarantee that Notion has a template to assist you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the choices are too overwhelming, and you can get into a little bit of worrying more about the template than the actual product or project that you're trying to use the template for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Notion is the ultimate all-in-one hub for my type-A brain because it allows me to organize, track, and plan with complete precision. I love how everything I need—tasks, notes, calendars (even sync my G-cal!), and databases—can be brought together in one place. It's the perfect tool for someone like me who thrives on structure and order. The customization options let me create systems that align perfectly with my workflow, and I can break things down into manageable chunks with all the color-coding and tagging I could ever want. That level of control is key for me because it helps me stay on top of everything, whether it’s work, personal goals, or anything in between. But sometimes, I can get a little too carried away with the endless possibilities for customization. I have to remind myself not to overcomplicate things because, with my perfectionist tendencies, I can easily find myself overthinking or getting bogged down by decision fatigue. I have a problem keeping focused on the one thing I need to get done. I'm great at making a list, poor at exectuing on the list because I feel overwhelmed. But Notion is great at keeping the main thing at the forefront. From their easy search tool that brings up the most recent pages, to the AI tool that helps me just back into the task I was working on. The feature that has saved me the most though is the AI writing assistant. Communication is a big part of my work but it takes me a minute to get into the right head space. The writing assistant gives me the jumpstart I need to be able to jump into communication tasks with gusto! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Like anything with lots of freedom it can be hard to keep things organized. Where did I put that note? I have a lot of databases and that certainly help compartmentalize things but the workflows can be ever changing. If you're gonna use notion I recommend to start with templates and keep things simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am a freaking techie and do use a bunch of AI tools in my day to day life and the best thing I loved about Notion Ai is I use it daily and the fact that my personal AI assistant is inside the app which i now use for literally everything notetaking to brainstorming and everything and the AI assistant literally makes it so easier to capture whatever I need. I love almost everything about notion but the one thing I wish it was possible would be to design the actual background of the page and regarding AI when I ask it to write something and make it longer it kinda sometimes just repeats the same things again and again so I have two copies of exact same answer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Databases are awesome for organizing production schedules and social calendars. Calendar integration, app integration with all my Google stuff and the AI features have helped save me alot of time doing tedious task. AI still needs human input and review, but it is great tool that allows me to be hyper-productive in shorter work sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes editing notes in Android is inconsistent. The tools to modify a block sometimes disappears and I have to close the app and reopen it to get it to work. Using a Phone with Android 13 and superfast storage and processor, so I don't think it is a device issue.
All in all though, not too bad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the databases, and how you can view pages in different ways depending on what is most effective to harness the power of that information. For instance, a list might work better in some instances vs. a calendar might display that info in a different way depending on different circumstances. I love the flexibility! To be honest there really isn't much I don't like about notion except for maybe the fact that not many of my colleagues use it so it makes sharing notes a bit more difficult when I am wanting to use my Notion site but others are still locked in with Word, Google Drive, OneNote etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like most about Notion is its flexibility. It allows me to organize everything in one place—from managing emails and clients to tracking insurance and auto equity. The database feature is a game changer because it lets you connect information and create filters that actually help in daily operations. Plus, the ability to customize pages and collaborate with a team makes everything easier, especially for those running a business and handling multiple tasks at once. What I dislike about Notion is that it can be slow at times, especially with large databases or on weaker internet connections Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My daily note taking worksapce is Notion. From writing blogs, notes to tracking my daily routine & progress notion helps me in all of these. I can share my notes & can work with my team as well. One thing i discovered very innovative & amazing is I was able to duplicate an extensive progress tracker shared by a business influencer whom i follow & it was easy to do as well as it has an option to duplicate it instead of writing or copy-pasting manually. AI feature is good as well. Overall, after installing Notion I don't need to install any other application as it has all neccessary features in it & highly customizable. From my perspective, I think it is not that much effective for Business professionals & Advanced tasks as it lacks some of the crucial features related to these. While writing, sometimes an issue i have faced is when i select any specific word, instead of it the whole line gets selected & is bit annoying. Even after selecting particular word with trackpad as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing about Notion is the inclusion of artificial intelligence to improve the quality of learning, it has good tools to organize not only the information but also the times in which one studies. I knew other similar applications but Notion was the most suitable and useful for my needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the other hand, sometimes if you are not connected to the internet, information is lost and it is cumbersome to have to do the same thing again. Also, the AI system is somewhat limited in terms of the number of words it produces, and it only adjusts to the information provided, not analyzing from different sources.
