The app is very easy to use in order to submit expenses to our accounting team. It's also easy to tag purchases, upload receipts, etc. in order to do this in less than a minute while you're making a purchase vs having to remember later, keep the receipt, submit online. Having used literal tape to a piece of paper and scan via printer and upload to a folder methods at past companies, Navan's app makes this process that no one actually enjoys, very easy. The travel side of Navan can be a little bit bumpy for the end user experience. I normally use the online version to make reservations for flight and hotel but the online experience is much easier than the alternative of doing this process manually so it's not the end of the world. Navan is incredibly simple to use! Whether I’m on my phone (where the app is super intuitive) or out with friends, I can easily update my expenses—even if someone Slacks me a receipt. The process is seamless: just snap a photo, submit, confirm, and you’re done. I’ve had no issues with receipts not being recognized, making the whole experience hassle-free. Expense reporting has never been easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only potential recommendation I'd consider suggesting is a monthly reminder email or notification about submitting. If I have a planned trip in Navan, follow up three days later or something and remind me to submit expenses if I haven't done so. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like how everything is in one place, ifI need to book a flight and a hotel its all on one site. The great thing I like is that I can book with Navan and still earn rewards points and miles with the airlines and hotel brands I usually book with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Overall I've had a great experience. One issue I did have on my last trip was that my hotel charged my personal credit card rather than the virtual company card that I used to book on the Navan site; this could have been an oversight from the hotel but that has been my only complaint if I had to give one. I appreciate that I'm able to book all travel and accommodations through Navan, as well as submit travel-related expenses. The app makes it super easy to do this on the go, so I'm not saving and submitting receipts through a spreadsheet expense report when I return home from a trip. It's also easy to use Navan for non-trip-related expenses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful if we could say internally which hotels are preferred for trips, or which people should avoid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Navan makes scheduling and reporting on business travel so easy! I love that anything I schedule quickly integrates with other platforms like airlines and hotels, there is no time wasted searching for information. Uploading receipts from travel is also incredibly easy to do, I don't have to hunt for the info to provide for my company. The user interface is clean and modern, not cluttered with popups like other business travel/expenses platforms I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't yet found anything I dislike, Navan is truly a night and day difference from platforms I've used in the past. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had terrible experiences with travel bookings at all my past companies before Navan. Navan's app is way better than most common travel apps and the experience is tailored to the company (eg. They have your office address etc and policies). The virtual credit card is a very useful feature because not all hotels accept the cashless check in experience. Lastly, Navan recognises that people would like to sometimes take a few personal days during a business trip so the app allows you to extend hotel stay at your own expense. So far it seems like it's a closed ecosystem. I.e I need to use Navan to book a personal trip if I want to use the loyalty points from the business trips. I can't use Navan rewards on any other platform where I usually book my personal trips (such as Expedia) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the Navan Rewards feature, and telling new colleagues about it makes them excited about using the product. I also really like the events feature. I use it for an in-person orientation for new colleagues and it is really helpful for tracking the cost of the event across multiple team budgets, as well as being able to coordinate colleagues with similar travel schedules. It makes the event run smoother for colleagues and more trackable for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of my interactions are in a user facing role and I haven't really had anything that I truly dislike about using Navan. Sometimes using the company credit card for hotel bookings is a pain (since the hotel has to have the CC authorization and it's sort of challenging to get to), but that would be my only issue.
Reporting is a struggle for me, but I don't have all of the access required to run reports myself, so I just hear that it is an issue from my finance team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This is a game changer for any employees looking to book and expense flights, hotels, meals, etc. It's easy to use, faster, simple steps, a better implementation and support than other tools out there, and the mobile app is a breeze! Very easy to upload a receipt and get a refund or correct things from both a manager and individual contributor standpoint. It's user friendly on both sides. It was also super quick to integrate in our company and the onboarding was simple. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's nothing I dislike about it. It seems easier than what we used to use (SAP Concur) and we'll likely continue to leverage this tool. Initally we started a teams chat internally to ask general questions but everyone has the hang of it now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. I find Concur to be a better system in all regards. I would not recommend Navan to anyone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike everything. The approval process is cumbersome and inflexible:
-Approvals do not apply to other airports in the same region (e.g. I needed to request a new approval to change my airport from DFW to DAL and while I was awaiting the new approval, fares went up)
-Approvals do not work for multi-city trips. I secured approval for a multi-city trip, and Navan had me book the first leg on its own. When I finished booking it, I had lost approval to book the second leg, so I had to request another approval, which wasted a lot of time during which the fare went up.
Changing indirect flights is incredibly hard. I had to change each leg independently, which took me at least 30-45 minutes to figure out, and then Navan didn't have the same flights or fares as the airline's own site. I could not make changes directly with the airline because Navan retains control of the ticket (which Concur did not). I had to call Navan while I was traveling internationally and waste a lot of time to get the flight changed. It was a cumbersome and tiring process that led to a higher fare. I had been using the same Expense and Travel Management software for years until my company recently implemented Navan. As a user, I was reluctant to learn a new system, but found Navan very easy to use and it has several benefits over the tradtional legacy systems. I get paid faster, expense are easier to enter, and travel booking is a breeze. Navan also implements a very interesting reward system that puts money in my pocket when I save my company money! Some very interesting aspects to this solution and I would reccomend you trying it out!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few things that Navan could do to improve their solution where I have given them some feedback. Nothing major, but some tricks to make things easier or quicker. Overall I am a fan! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
