First of all, it's a very intuitive tool, easy to use without any training needed.

The Miroverse is such a great advantage, you can find almost any template there, and also share your own templates with the world. This is very convinient when you are a bit short on inspiration, just look for cool retros, business canvas, etc.

I also really like the facilitator tools, the private mode is a MUST for certain types of meetings, where anonymity creates psychological safety.

The image search, emojis, stickers is one of my favourite features as well, it makes your boards and thus meetings more interesting and dynamic.

I miss a feature to create sticky notes with a double click, but I've been using the sticky stack to help me create sticky notes easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the fact that I can see all the changes live without someone having to publish a version or something. In a meeting no one has to share a screen to present since people can just follow the presentor in their own computer. It works efficiently in both, large workdhops and smaller meetings as just a meeting notes tool. It is easy to get started with it and share/onboard to new users as well. The boards can get pretty massive which obviously makes them less usable. It is easy to add content and for that reason it is also easy to outdate the old content on the board sofrom that perspective it needs someone to be maintaining and being on top of things. The (mac) application gets updates quite often and has to be restarted. If the organisation uses Miro broadly, it is sometimes hard to remember which board had the certain info and the searching from 'all the b oards ever created ' can be challenging. We are currently working on a project which team members, are from very different disciplines: ( historians,architects, Tech guys, graphic designers). And we are not phisically in the same area or in the same country. Miro help us to graphically show our ideas, research findings, sketchs, and organize better the info. It helps to access the info at anytime, anyplace.

Most of our team members use Miro every day, and its our first reference at start any task. And, when someone new integrates to the team, Miro allows us to make the onboarding easy, as its easy to show them all our boards.

What I like a lot too, its how easy was to implement it for all of us. Ans its easy too to make a cross-over between some other tools or apps we use. (PDF, project, Photoshop etc). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an architect myself, I have not found a "free hand skecth" tool. which could been very usefull as sometimes I try to shoy paths, draw a quick idea, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

for larger workflows and process flowcharts it becomes absolutely difficult to present it to the larger set of audience in the form of presentation and makes it a messy affair to re - navigate unless a step by step animation is applied to it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It allows for complex visualisations while being so easy to use that it can be learned on the spot, which is very useful in client work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It gets slow when I put many documents on it, which I often have to do for research purposes. And while I love the new AI features (especially text-to-notes and automated translation), the summary and clustering function makes many mistakes and produces pretty banal results that AIs like claude or chat GPT would not Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that it gives me a full flexibility over how I organize my informations. I can move items around, change their size, connect or disconnect, it's very comfortable. I like that it has colors to choose from and shapes. I like that I can paste a printscreen photo straight to the board. I like having different options, personification of everything. I don't like that selecting is with the right mouse click and moving with left. I got used to having it the opposite way in Google Maps and now I get things confused, which is annoying. Miro is an amazing tool. It can be used for prototyping, sharing, collaborating, creating designs, architectures, flowcharts, roadmaps and what not. What I like most about Miro is the user experience, embedded intelligence, smartness, infinitely large canvas, tools available for formatting, Performance, Responsiveness, the list goes on and on and on.. I don't know how has the Miro team able to keep the tool so intuitive despite providing tonnes of features. I have been using Miro tool from past 3 years and seriously in love with it. I was really waiting for an avenue to convey my thanks and wishes to the Miro team and got this opportunity. You never stop, you keep delivering something new, something interesting frequently without taking way the ease of use making the tool robust, enriched with tools with every upgrade. I love Miro’s infinite canvas and real-time collaboration the most. The ability to have an endless digital whiteboard where ideas can sprawl without limits is a game-changer—it’s like having a giant brainstorm wall that never runs out of space. Whether I’m mapping out a project plan, sketching workflows, or just throwing sticky notes around with a team, it keeps everything fluid and organized in one place. The real-time aspect is seamless: multiple people can jump in, edit, comment, or vote on ideas instantly, no matter where they are. It’s perfect for my scattered thoughts or when I’m working with others across time zones—like how I imagine syncing up with a teammate in Texas while I’m elsewhere. What I dislike most about Miro is its performance lag with large boards and the learning curve for new users. When I’m deep into a complex project—say, a massive flowchart or a board packed with images and links—it can get sluggish. The infinite canvas is awesome until it’s overloaded, and then zooming, panning, or adding elements feels like it’s dragging, especially on a less powerful device. I love how easy it is to plan a project visually using Miro. The ability to use different templates, and the endless options of what can be added to each board is fantastic. It was very easy to learn how to use. I have used it every day since I downloaded it! I began using it for one specific project, but will be using it for all of my projects going forward. The flexibility of the tool.

I like I can apply tables with post-its inside (structure + brainstorming).

Also like I can include documents/ ppt presentations and be able to brainstorm with teams, collect ideas and train using the Miro tools.

Loading time of the content sometimes is a little slow for the quantity of information and drawings attached to the board.

Lagging (delay to move) when there are too much people connected and doing an activity (more than 20 for example). I am not sure if this is something related to quantity of people or net connection issues, but generates some lagging that people get´s frustated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
