The price. As a small business owner, it can be hard to keep up with the increase in pricing. If I were just starting out, I would probably choose a cheaper platform until I could build up the business to afford Mindbody. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I signed up with Mindbody several years ago for my martial arts business, mainly because they promised a functional belt tracking module. Unfortunately, that feature never worked properly. When they attempted to replace it with a progress tracking system, it only made things worse. Both modules were full of programming errors and consistently failed to perform as advertised. Despite spending countless hours of my time, my staff's efforts, and thousands of dollars, nothing was ever resolved.
Mindbody repeatedly assured me that they would fix the issues, but those promises were never fulfilled. Ultimately, I had to find an alternative to manage student progress effectively. They string you along, making you believe they will solve the problems, but they never do—while continuing to bill you. In my opinion, it’s a dishonest company that sells you the dream without delivering on the work.
Now, after years of frustration, Mindbody refuses to acknowledge the issues or let me cancel my contract. Instead, they have become increasingly aggressive in preventing me from terminating the service. Their support team is highly skilled at handling objections, making it appear as though they are actively trying to resolve the bugs, but there seems to be no real intention to fix the problems.
After nearly five years of waiting for critical bugs to be addressed—bugs that have a significant impact on my business—I am left with nothing but frustration. They now focus on enforcing the terms of our contract despite their failure to deliver on their promises. My experience with Mindbody has been incredibly disappointing, and I strongly advise caution to anyone considering their software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Mindbody is very simple to use. It is a great platform for managing your schedule and tracking client sessions. The app is very userfriendly as well, so you always have access to your schedule on the go. I use it on a daily basis and it is very easy to implement for new users. This company makes sales promises that are never delivered on. In three years of using this software every day it was buggy and unreliable. Support is non-existant. Its is difficult for your clients use. It has features you will never use, and is missing the features you want.

I have been with Mindbody for over 10 years. At first they were a great solution for my gym. Over the past 2 years they have gotten progressively worse. Their customer service is a joke ans non existent. Their payment processing company that they force you to use continues to randomly take chargebacks out, even when not requested by clients. They recently took $1600 out of my account for a chargeback, and the customer didn't request it and even fought with me against the charges. They called their bank, mindbody and the payment processor, and essentially was told "too bad". $800 of the $1600 was returned to my client (who then paid me back), and then took another $800, but it was never paid back to the customer. So basically they just took money out for their own benefit.
And good luck getting Mindbody to respond or even care about your problems. Previous problems have taken over 2 weeks to resolve, which included over 10 phone calls and countless emails that are NEVER responded to.
For the love of God and your business, never use Mindbody. We are in the process of switching, which is a nightmare in itself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
