From my previous of using Klaviyo one thing I can say is that dashboard is very fairly designed and informative at the same time. It's data projection like potential sales, subscribers, etc. have helped me out to analyse the performance. The auto segmentation of your customers based on the data and attributes is another great feature , it's subtle but it certainly helps in the data collected in the CRM. It's customer support is top notch I have contacted every time I faced any problems during the onboarding process and they have helped me out every time promptly. I believe it can be a task for a beginner to learn its working and processes easily and he/she has to go through various articles and tuitorials to be fluent with it. Also it's plans are on the expensive side and one might not even use all of the feature it offers wasting a part of their plan. It also needs to work out it's campaign automation features as I faced several issues while sequencing them. Otherwise it's a great platform and must have for e- commerce stores. There are a lot of things I like about Klaviyo. My favorite is easily creating flows and customer segments based on website activity. Being able to target customers with personalized information is important and a huge part of our marketing strategy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I absolutely love Klaviyo x Shopify integration. It opens up the ability to segment your customers based on their purchasing behaviour and create automated follow-up email sequences based on that. It is a must-have for anyone having a Shopify store. And the fact that it is preferred Shopify's partner tells a lot. I love the email builder with the dynamic products feed or just a product block. I love the fact that with a little bit of coding, you can personalize shopping reminders to show each customer the last set of products they purchased from your store. We initially switched from Mailchimp to Klaviyo, expecting more advanced flow options, even though Klaviyo’s pricing was double that of Mailchimp. However, it turned out that Klaviyo’s software couldn’t support some of these promised features. For instance, sending price-drop emails isn’t possible.
Since then, Klaviyo has significantly increased its prices and restricted the volume of emails customers are allowed to send, as well as limiting the maximum number of contacts. This approach seems designed to generate extra fees for customers. Their pricing structure is opaque, and you’ll likely end up paying far more than initially indicated in the contract.
If you’re considering becoming a customer, make sure to read all the fine print. There are several “easter eggs” hidden within, which will come back to bite you.
Just before renegotiations, they increased prices by up to 25%, and then tried to lock us into a two-year contract to avoid these price hikes. Given that these changes were made only a few weeks before our renewal, there was no time to migrate to another provider or warm up a new IP address. This makes it practically impossible to switch providers if the negotiation doesn’t meet your expectations. We were tied into an additional two-year agreement against our wishes and have since received extra charges repeatedly. Paying over $3,000 a month, we feel trapped.
Beyond the contractual issues, getting any meaningful support is a struggle. Responses from sales, account contacts, and support staff are standardized and unhelpful. For instance, it took us over a year to simply update our invoice email address!

Klaviyo has been amazing for revenue attribution. It has become extremely easy to understand which marketing efforts have been making the biggest impacts with their detailed yet comprehensible analytics.
