The best about JumpCloud is very practical, easy to use and good for managing large organization directory. As the product is Cloud solution, it is really easy to use it remotely especially for internal IT support like me. I can solve several people's issue without having to meet them face to face. Additionally, it is really convenient for us to offboard talents from company and making sure that the access security is always on top.
The customer support team is very knowledgeable and be able to support or assist me to solve any issue while using JumpCloud.
The ability to integrate JumpCloud with other cloud solution and this feature is very convenient for me as a IT support.
The ease of implementation such as self-password reset really help me managing users in my organization and save a lot of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JumpCloud might need to improve on the dashboard navigation.
Example: The navigation between a user profile to another user profile.
In my case, when I want to navigate to search for another user, it is quite a hustle as I need to go back and forth especially when it comes to key in data for a lot of users.
Same goes to navigation between devices as well. As a IT admin, there will be time that I need to manage several devices in the same time. It would be nice if JumpCloud has better comprehensive dashboard especially when it comes to managing users or devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

• General ease of use and setup
• Extremely flexible with robust options to manage Macs, PCs, and Linux machines as well as iOS and Android mobile devices
• Fantastic customer support with the ability to both chat with someone and call someone. Chat now support ChatGPT style results (so you can chat at anytime of day), which works surprisingly well.
• Constantly introducing new features and solutions
• Integrates well with existing workflows, including Active Directory and Googel Workspace
• Supports different forms of SSO integration including SAML and JIT provisioning Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
• Initial setup can be a bit daunting, but customer support is helpful
• Current password manager, while functional and secure, leaves a lot to be desired. Speciifcally: the user interface is a bit clunky; there is no native Apple Silicon version of the password manager; search, while functional, is extremely clunky because it doesn't allow you to view a static list of search results, but only a small drop down menu that disappears the minute you click on a result; the browser extension mostly works well, but fails pretty spectacularly on certain websites.
• No easy way to manage printers without either a dedicated on-site print server or a cloud based solution. This means you need either to keep an on-site server (one reason to use JumpCloud is to eliminate the need for any kind of on-site server), or pay for another cloud-based service. What I like best about Jump Cloud is its centralized user and device management. The multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds that extra layer of security, which is crucial for preventing unauthorized access. ease to use and customer support is very best. i daily use and maybe most of the time we using jump cloud as my role. Especially for smaller companies or those with a large number of users. Some businesses may find the pricing a bit on the higher side compared to other directory and identity management solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It integrates identity, access, and device management into one platform. It gives us easiness of control.
It supports Windows, macOS, Linux, and cloud environments on a single platform.
We efficiently utilize SSO for approximately 500 applications, including our proprietary tools.
Zero Trust Security is a great feature that we are trying to implement. It includes rigorous access controls, ensuring top-tier security.
Strengthens user authentication with an additional layer of security.
It scales easily without any infrastructure issues.
Enforces policies effectively and enables remote device wiping, which works tremendously in User/Device Off-boarding.
Achieves seamless synching with existing Active Directory environments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing is a bit high.
Lacks deep customization and adaptive authentication.
Limited Office 365 integration.
Support is slow with inconsistent documentation. Maximum times it goes with Feature request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is pre-built. Adding integrations are sometimes complex, but that complexity would exist with any directory. The guides are comprehensive too; sometimes they can be hard to follow, but these are highly complex topics, so it is inevitable.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support is decent, but sometimes I have needed to supply the same information more than once and I've needed to repeat diagnostic steps on the instructions of the support team.. Again, this is not unique to JumpCloud, but ideally it would be great if support could review cases thoroughly.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I rely on JumpCloud daily—it’s a critical tool for our business operations. Setting up applications is straightforward, and managing user accounts is even simpler. The role-based permission management significantly reduces complexity, allowing us to handle user access quickly and easily. As a SecOps engineer, I particularly value how effortlessly I can access the machines needed for evidence collection during audits. We have hundreds of users, more than 50 applications, and 15 teams, so managing authentication without JumpCloud would be a nightmare. JumpCloud simplifies the process, making user permissions easier to manage and audit. I also appreciate the API, which allows us to integrate Jumpcloud into our log management, SIEM/XDR, GRC, and audit evidence-gathering scripts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have a few minor suggestions. It would be great to have a built-in feature for time-based permissions, such as automatically expiring a user’s group membership after 30 days. Additionally, streamlining the process of managing ingress logs and sending them to our SIEM and log management platform—without relying heavily on the API—would enhance the experience. I love the way that Jumpcloud ir orgnized and it is easy to use, we have manners to create shortcuts and also SSOs, this improve the way that we have security on software and we can rely on company safity links to use. The documentation about integration is very accurate and the customer support is always there to help. I am now on implementation phase of JumpCloud Password Manager and I am loving the whole process. I am trying to improve the frequency of use in my company I think the best way to keep security it is to use JumpCloud every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not have anything bad to say about Jumpcloud but I will leave here some things that you guys can use to enhance the use from all people.
The first suggestion is to create a way to set a standard password to all new users that enters in the company.
The second suggestion is to create the possiblitie to add tabs on users profiles, for example:between "All Applications" tabs and "Favorites" it would be awesome if we could create new tabs there Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the UI takes time to load although we have fast internet with good ping.
Also, I think Jumpcloud needs to optimize its features and load only the important and useful interfaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JumpCloud is great because it lets you manage users and devices from the cloud without needing traditional servers. It works across Windows, Mac, making IT management easy. The security features, like multi-factor authentication and Zero Trust policies, help keep everything secure. Plus, it integrates well with tools like AWSWorkspace and Microsoft 365. It's especially useful for remote teams since you can manage everything from anywhere. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
JumpCloud can be a bit tricky to learn at first, especially if you're used to Active Directory. some settings take time to find. It also has fewer policy options than the AD Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
