It can be very simple to use, or you can make an effort to customize the tool for your own needs. That means that it is meant for a wide variety of users who offer customer support to their clients. There's not many downsides but there is one I can think of. And that is connecting to MacOS computers. When connecting to the MacOS for the first time, the user on the other side needs to approve security settings twice, then disconnect the session and connect with a new session. Allows me as IT manager to remote into to servers and client devices very easily. and also allows me to host a session for my users who do not have the app installed locally.

Licensing structure is far and away better than the competition. The customer support is very quick and responsive, either giving solutions within minutes or taking new features in to consideration.

It's easy to install and distribute across all our users PCs, especially using Intune. It's fast in use and has a number of useful features to ensure that it remains usable regardless of the client machines setup.

There's a few features lacking that would be nice to have - remote management of the file system or registry without having to initiate a full remote session with the user and device. Easy to use, intuitive user interface. A clear and user-friendly interface for managing a large number of computers. Ability to choose different methods/channels for forwarding the remote access connection to the client. Clever support for Administrative Mode, since by default ISL runs without admin permissions. In some cases, even when the connection to the remote computer is on the local network, there is some delay/lag in operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Easy to install, remote clients can be easily controlled by giving them a session code. Works well on Windows and IOS and I can view andriod devices too. Always on clients have been easy to impletement. The ability to see screens on mobile devices inc phones and tablets is very useful as this is increasing used as a primary email and comms devices.

Customer Support is good and when I asked for an extended trial period that was no problem. I was tied to 3 main devices with a previous supplier but thankfully that's not the case with ISLOnline. I can provide support from any computer I happen to be using including my mobile. I use it a lot as my primary use is IT support and systems monitoring.

Could do with a stripped down always on client so other systems you can control are not shown. This is a minor issue as you can log out of it and it will still continue to run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about ISL Online is being able to be with several remotes at the same time, being able to send or receive files no matter how large they are, being able to connect to all the computer screens at the same time or separately, the independent access that you have once the agent, be able to restart the remote machine even in safe mode. What I like least is when I have to work connecting to Apple. It is not usually easy and I know that it is not an ISL thing but an Apple thing Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
