You can customize your texts, emails and voice messages to patients. Adding a lot of details has helped patients with what appointment they have and at what office. You can also see when a patient received their text, email or voice memo and create as many reminders as you need! Their customer service is also great! If you have entered a phone number as "home" and it's actually a cell, EasyMarkit can't differentiate between the two, so it won't send a text, it will only call the number. You must make sure the phone numbers are properly identified. Solutionreach CAN make the distinction, and this is what was so confusing to me, as when I brought this to the attention of EasyMarkit, they claim that this distinction cannot be made. However, I have experience with Solutionreach for years, and know that they do indeed make the distinction. It's a minor issue, but is annoying.
Also, if a patient is sent a confirmation text and doesn't respond right away, and another text is sent which may not be a confirmation text, and then the patient responds "C" to confirm after the second text, it doesn't understand that the patient was responding to the confirmation text and sends a text telling the patient it didn't understand the response. Not having to call patient's to confirm appointments is the best! Another favorite feature is the email and text blasts. When a tree knocked out our phone service one afternoon, what a blessing it was to contact ALL of our patients via email/text to make them aware of the problem. We were able to continue functioning as a normal office under these awful circumstances. Lastly, perhaps my all-time favorite perk of EasyMarkIt is their customer service.
