Connecteam does exactly that, it helps my team stay connected. My business team are rarely together at the same time so sharing info remotely is key and connecteam does that for us. It was easy to implement even for the older staff who are not tech savy. We went from a whiteboard and photographs and a whatsapp group to using this app in a single day, we now use this app every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had a little trouble lining to Xero for payroll. I would also like to customize the tasks view and save that view for the mobile app (you may be able to I just havent tried) The team really love this software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's so much to love with Connecteam. Scheduling, payroll, HR and so much more all in one location. It's been super handy with our small business being able to see all the features that are available and implement them for free. Our team is contuning to grow and once we hit that mark in the coming months, we will have to pay for the program but we will be doing that without issue. I also love that their customer support has the option to vote on features that you would like to see. It was easy to implement the system with out team and migrate everything over. I started using Connecteam as a small business owner, and it literally changed my life. I have several part-timers (university students), and previously it was a pain scheduling them, counting their hours, making sure I don't schedule their shifts when they are unavailable etc.
It is a breeze now -- first of all the scheduling is very easy, you can create week templates and use them for scheduling future work weeks, you can duplicate shifts for previous weeks, you can add unavailability (one time and recurring).
Then the staff can easily use the app to Clock in and Clock out, and when you run your payroll you can easily access the time sheets for the specific periods.
And it is FREE for up to 10 members, which is super cool!
The chat feature is also great, and as an admin you can see who has seen your message and who has not, so we use it for weekly and daily updates to the team.
There are also plenty of settings for the shifts -- you can choose that everybody sees each other shifts or they can see only theirs, you can add an option for staff to claim shifts, or not. You can have an option to assign the shifts, or make them confirm the schedule, and you can assign different roles. This software can work for various organizations. The one thing that is still missing is an intergration with QBO Payroll -- so I still have to manually enter the hours from the timesheets. If this feature will be fixed, that will make our life even easier and payroll process smoother. Another thing that changing recurring unavailability is not very straghtforward -- you need to remove it first and then add the new one. Also, if you want to stay on the free plan, you need to delete employees who quit, and that deletes their hours and schedules from the system, so you are no longer able to reuse it, but I guess this is expected with the emloyees limits in the free plan. Another small issue is that after the time off is approved as a paid time off, I didn't find a way to change the type of the paid time off to unpaid time off, so that it doesn't affect my timesheets. Generally there are only minor things that can be improved in the app, so generally I still recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The different levels of communication that Connecteams has allowed for our company to have at our finger-tips has truly been amazing! Our team is now able to receive immediate communications, communicate between stores and team members, a central location to access important forms, and so much more!! I am a contractor. We have several different jobs and job locations that frequently change. Using Connecteam I can manage them all and track my employees time on each project. The location system tells me where they are when they clock in and out each time. This is perfect for tracking all billable hours, correctly charging clients, and making sure my employees are where they are supposed to be. I tried many different systems. As the administrator there are some aspects that can not be accessed from the app. You need to log into the website to use some of the features and make some changes. (This was frustrating until I figured it out) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The timesheet feature is most useful to us, it easily allows us to track our teams hours and our employees have fedback that the app is easy to use and took little to no time to onboard how to use. The holiday request feature is also really neat as it asks as a HR role, meaning employees can request holiday without having to ask in person (which is actually a big thing for some people). As a director I can easily overview everyones hours and export the data to send off to our account manager who then processes payroll. Connect Team is something that we use daily and we have built porcessees around it to streamline our work and allow our employees to be more efficient whilst working. I also love the HR functions as it allows us to keep track of upcoming birthdays and work anniversaries, it also provides a dedicated space to spotlight emplyees so that everyone can comment/congratulate, in the same way we can also show recognision which is particularily helpful with workers who I am not in direct contact with. This is all not mentioning that for small businesses it is completely FREE?! It is a no brainer to implement into your company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I genuinely don't know what I dislike about connect team, it does everything I need it to do and more plus for now it is also free?! I don't know how you can dislike that! Perhaps some element of customisation to move things around on the dashboard to suit your needs would be nice but I also suspect this is something that comes in the enterprise package and it is certainly not something that is holding me back. Connecteam solved my scheduling issues at my moving company. I needed a unique solution and when I discovered Connecteam I was blown away. Not only have they thought of just about everything, but they've packed it all together in such a way that anyone can use it quickly and simply. The fact that it's free for under 10 users has been a huge benefit as well, and I'll happily pay for the service when our business outgrows the full-featured free platform. I like the amount of specific features and drop downs you can add. It makes for an easy method of getting a lot of information across quickly. As rangers we use it often to input our daily activities and contacts and have a variety of forms added by the administrators has been very useful. It is also used to communicate acroos a large number of team members. I like the chat feature because us rangers are spread throughout the whole city, so having different chats in the app we frequently use is very convienient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike how long it can take attatchments to load in connectteams. It also can take some time to adjust to and understand some of the features because there is so much to learn. The one thing I'd really like to see from Connectteams would be the ability to see our entries in a timeline format. This way you can click a user and see a timeline of what entries they have made throughout the day. This would be benificial to everyone. We would be able to see our day laid out and what gaps there are. Our supervisors would find this useful as well. Currently we have to open each entry, read the time, and then remember all the timestamps to think about when there may have been gaps in productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of setup and navigation makes Connecteam the most user friendly application I have used to date. Makes it a streamlined process to inform your entire company or team members of happening throughout the company. It covers everything from timekeeping, payroll, holidays and even requesting time off without having to pass a piece of paper to anyone. This app is very self explainatory and the ease of implementing what you need into it is very straight forward. Integration with outside payroll services is a piece of cake. If you have any questions or concerns you have the complete attention of the super customer service team to help you out. They are quick to respond and very helpful. The signing into the app is a bit strange utilizing a cellphone number of the administrator. Could be easily signed in by anyone, especially if they have the cellphone numbers of anypone important in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
