**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

The integrations across so many different platforms has been a game changer for our social media and review engagement. Another aspect that has saved us a great deal of time is being able to manage and automate office listings, marketing posts, review responses, etc. for several locations at once.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

It would be incredible if Birdeye could feed updated information back into our scheduling software. For example, if an email bounces back as non-deliverable, I’d love for it to be flagged or marked in some way so our team knows to update it the next time we interact with that client.

The only other thing I haven’t loved is that, when we were interested in adding mass texting capabilities, we discovered our initial integration wasn’t sufficient. We tried to update our integration using an SFTP file transfer; however, there wasn’t a quick or simple way to filter the necessary data from our software into the correct format to support further integration.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye has given our seven locations the ability to consolidate social media, email campaigns, review requests, and online inquiries/leads in one place. It saves us hours each week by automating review requests nightly, letting us create social media posts and schedule them across multiple platforms for all locations at once, and enabling us to communicate with online inquiries/leads in real time. It's easy to use and is customizable to fit our needs.

**What do you like best about Birdeye?**

Birdeye is user-friendly and offers a wide range of features to help you get the most out of your reviews. The reporting tools are helpful, and the customer support is excellent. The response time from both the Birdeye reps and backend support team is timely, and they are always willing to hop on a call for additional assistance. Anytime we’ve needed to integrate something new, they’ve made the process smooth and easy. Overall, the platform’s usability and high level of customer service make Birdeye a tool our team highly recommends.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

The main downside to Birdeye is that the AI feature does not currently learn or adapt to your company’s brand voice over time. Because of this, the responses it generates do not always align with our messaging, making the feature less useful for our team. However, we’ve heard there are plans to introduce a brand voice feature, which is great to hear. Additionally, Birdeye no longer integrates with Yelp, which means we now have to log into Yelp separately to monitor and respond to those reviews.

Birdeye makes it easy to manage reviews across all of our communities and entities from one centralized platform. Since we receive reviews frequently, having everything organized in one place helps our team stay efficient with review responses. It simplifies the review management process, improves organization, and helps ensure no reviewer goes unnoticed. The reporting tools are another great feature, giving our onsite teams valuable insight into review trends and actionable feedback they can apply moving forward. Overall, Birdeye has become a daily tool for our team and has greatly improved the way we manage and monitor reviews.

So many different features have saved me an enormous amount of time. The AI review response agent has been especially valuable — it analyzes sentiment, urgency, and even images to craft personalized, on‑brand replies. With seven dental offices, managing a high volume of reviews across multiple practices can become tedious, but this platform has genuinely freed up a significant portion of my day.

Birdeye’s interface is clean, intuitive, and clearly designed for efficiency. The dashboard brings reviews, messages, listings, and analytics into one simple, easy‑to‑navigate hub. For a multi‑location practice, the ability to toggle between offices or apply updates across all locations at once is a major advantage and eliminates so much repetitive work.

There are a lot of tools inside Birdeye, so it took me some time to figure out where everything lives. Some of the reporting and settings can feel a little buried at first. Once you get used to the layout, it’s much easier, but onboarding and setup definitely matter.

I like Birdeye for its ease of use and the technical support they offer. It allows customers to request reviews easily and provides the ability to respond to them, either with automatic or manual approvals. The mass texting feature helps small businesses market to their clients regularly through a user-friendly platform. We use Birdeye for social media, where the platform is very easy to use, supporting posts to multiple platforms like Google, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook Messenger. I truly enjoy the relationship with Birdeye, and the people there are great to work with. The setup process is very easy, and I appreciate the support we get from them.

I would say on the mass texting, I think they could come up with different ideas for clients to use, and packages would be nice as well.

I really appreciate how easy it is to use. I also like that reviews, referral tracking, and survey results are all conveniently gathered in one place, which makes it simple to find what I need without having to jump between different sections. I believe Birdeye has helped improve our ratings by providing a space that’s straightforward to use and lets us manage and process reviews all in one place.

So far, I haven’t run into any issues while using Birdeye. That said, I’d really appreciate more personalized AI referral replies. Even when I switch the tone to “friendly,” the responses still feel robotic and don’t sound very natural.

I like that I'm able to aggregate reviews for all of the company's locations across the US into one spot. It has been helpful in managing all of our listings as we have nearly 200 locations. 

Reporting has been a key resource for us as well, we constantly deliver reports to our managers to show them how reviews have performed on a monthly basis. 

Lastly, our Customer Service team has found Birdeye useful in responding to all types of reviews

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

With each new tool comes a heavy price request. We've been customers for 6 years now and there was no cooperation or meeting in the middle when it came to pricing for a tool that we had interest in.

**What problems is Birdeye solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Birdeye helps us solve our problem of managing multiple online profiles for nearly 200 service centers across the Southeast. The benefit for a company our size is getting detailed reporting that can be shared with our field team so they better understand how reviews are performing for their location or their region.

What I like best about Birdeye is how efficiently it centralizes reviews and customer feedback across multiple businesses. The automation around review requests has saved our team time while increasing response volume, and the ability to quickly monitor and respond from one platform has significantly improved our workflow.

A big part of our positive experience has also been the onboarding—Shri, our onboarding specialist, was fantastic. She made the setup process smooth, clear, and easy to follow, which helped us get up and running quickly.

As a newer user of Birdeye, the main challenge has been the depth of the platform. There are a lot of features and capabilities available, which is a positive, but it does take time to fully learn how to use everything as effectively as possible—especially across multiple business locations.

We’re also still working through how to best align integrations with our existing systems, so additional guidance or best practices in that area would be helpful.

That said, the onboarding experience itself has been excellent. Shri, our onboarding specialist, has been incredibly helpful, responsive, and clear throughout the process. The learning curve is more a reflection of how robust the platform is, not the support we received.

Before Birdeye, managing reviews and customer feedback across multiple businesses was manual and inconsistent. We struggled to request reviews consistently and didn’t have a centralized way to monitor or respond.

Now, everything is streamlined—review requests are automated, feedback is centralized, and responses are timely and organized. This has improved efficiency, increased customer engagement, and given us much better visibility into our overall customer experience.

I have been thrilled with everything Birdeye has done with us; they've worked with us to build out an enterprise system and have consistently improved it based on our feedback. I love their user-friendly and simple interface, which offers a lot of tools. You can use it at a surface level or dig deeper for more detailed reporting and issues. Their follow-up is tenacious when addressing any concerns we've raised, and we highly recommend Birdeye for its enterprise capabilities in online reputation and review management, including AI-integrated features like social posting, calendaring, and reporting. The one login that connects all employees gives us a ton of visibility, and their unlimited user policy lets us push information efficiently. We integrate Birdeye with Tableau and Salesforce, appreciating their prominent API feature, which aids reporting. The initial setup process was made very easy by their team, despite the scale of our company.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

Don't really have anything there. There's a few things when it comes to some time stamp when it comes to when we're responding and tagging different things. We use a lot of tags. For our internal team, that we can tag reviews as complete or responded to. Think we could really use some time stamps as well as potential user stamps when it comes to who is tagging different things in the different reviews or messages.

I use Birdeye to manage incoming reviews efficiently. I like the direct response option, which helps filter bad reviews from being posted publicly on Google and improves our ratings. The AI-generated auto-responses for good reviews are very helpful, allowing us to maintain a good response rate without manual intervention. I use Birdeye for reputation management and take advantage of pretty much all of its AI tools. I love how it makes automating reviews easy, so we don't have to reach out to clients ourselves. Scheduling social media posts is a breeze, and the feature where it writes posts for us is fantastic—I simply approve them, and they go live. I'm also enjoying the Search AI, and while we're still learning more about it, I can already see it benefiting us by identifying gaps in our marketing. Setting up Birdeye was a piece of cake, and I appreciate that they help us with setting up our clients' sites or accounts if needed.

I like how easy and convenient it is to utilize Birdeye. Tasks that should take a lot more time can be done in a matter of minutes, if not seconds. I also value the reminder to reply to reviews, as it is so important for SEO and our reputation. The initial setup of Birdeye was really easy; I was using it within seconds of logging in. s a high-volume mortgage professional, my time is best spent structuring complex financing, not chasing administrative tasks. What I value most about Birdeye is how it integrates seamlessly into my workflow—specifically the automated triggers that request reviews the moment a loan hits the Clear to Close (CTC) or Closing milestone. It turns a manual 30-minute follow-up into a 'set and forget' system that ensures our 5-star reputation is reflected online without me having to personally micromanage the process.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

Probably to have more reminders sent. Maybe, it's the settings that I have, though. The primary area for improvement is the reminder frequency and customization. I would prefer a system that allows for multiple follow-ups across different channels (SMS/Email) until the task is completed. Currently, it feels like if the client doesn't act on the first or second prompt, the opportunity is lost. Improving the automation around 're-engagement' for non-responders would make the platform much more effective for high-volume professionals

The primary problem Birdeye solves is the consistency of social proof. In the mortgage business, prospective clients and Realtor partners vet us online before even picking up the phone. Birdeye ensures a steady stream of fresh, positive reviews, which solves the problem of 'stale' online profiles. I find the Google auto-response feature in Birdeye very helpful, as our organization has a number of facilities and receives many reviews. I like the ability to have Google post auto responses, which is quite a time saver for me, ensuring reviews are responded to in a timely manner. I also appreciate that I can post a response if needed and manage responses to negative reviews personally. Additionally, I like that I can upload company assets to incorporate the vision and values of our facilities into the responses. Another feature I enjoy is forwarding positive reviews to our social media sites. The initial setup was easy and the reps were easy to work with.

There are times when I need to tweak the auto-responses it gives because it doesn't quite understand the sentiment of the question. It's not a problem because I do check the responses, but if there was an area to improve, it might be that.

Birdeye has made getting customer reviews easy with custom integrations. I save time responding to reviews using either their BirdAI feature that generates custom responses or automatically responding with custom templates. The Birdeye microsites have given increased visibility online as well and drive additional traffic to our businesses. Our account manager goes over performance on a monthly basis and helps deploy new strategies based on the results.
Birdeye has a robust suite of tools and we have expanded into using Ai Search and listings tools which are some of the best in the industry with very intuitive controls and performance recommendations.
The Search Ai tool has helped us shape the voice of our brand in Ai search and monitoring what prompts are generating search results across all of our 160+ locations.
The pricing for these tools may vary depending on your needs but the ROI makes it a worthy tool and a must have for our business.

Birdeye has been an excellent partner, I have no dislikes about the platform. Birdeye continues to be an excellent partner to support our business growth. The growth of their existing tools shows the forward thinking of their product line.

Birdeye solves the challenge of automating the entire process, from sending review requests through a custom integration to responding to reviews. All of our reps have been amazing! We appreciate the responsiveness that they all have.  I love that we can 
respond to reviews right from the Birdeye dashboard and not have to log into each platform individually!  I also love the dashboard so that I can see a quick snapshot of our overall reviews, our ratings on the top three review sites, our conversion rates for both mobile and email, our reviews over time and our NPS score and visitor summary.  

Also, the reporting feature is super easy to use!  The standard reports are powerful but you can also customize them for what you need.  An added bonus is that we receive our FB & IG messenger messages on the platform also.  We recently added surveys and those are working beautifully!

The ONLY thing I dislike is that the phone number and email address that is used for patient texting and emailing is a 2-way line.  We often have patients text, call or email for questions, issues, etc.  I cannot wait for an enhancement that make it a "do not reply".

Working daily in design engineering and technical documentation for US lighting projects, managing client communication, project feedback, and online reputation across multiple channels was becoming increasingly fragmented. Birdeye brought all of that into one platform, and the difference was immediate.
What stands out most is how comprehensive the toolset is compared to other platforms. Most alternatives focus on one or two functions  either review management or messaging, but rarely both done well. Birdeye combines business listing management, a fully featured survey tool, reputation monitoring, and two-way customer messaging in a single workspace. For someone managing documentation and client-facing communication across multiple lighting projects simultaneously, that consolidation removes a significant layer of daily administrative work.
The ability to aggregate reviews from over 150 different sources into one dashboard is genuinely practical. On active projects whether coordinating with contractors, suppliers, or end clients on Acuity Lighting products  keeping track of feedback and responses across that many platforms manually would not be realistic. Birdeye makes that oversight manageable without constant platform switching.
The unified inbox is the feature used most consistently day to day. All two-way customer text conversations come into a single, organized thread. In a documentation and design environment where project updates, revision requests, and client approvals all come through different channels, having one place to track and respond to everything keeps communication clean and accountable.
The survey tool adds another layer that competitors often leave out entirely. Collecting structured feedback at key project milestones  particularly useful when finalizing technical documentation or completing a design review  gives a clear, organized picture of client satisfaction that informal communication simply does not provide.
From an accessibility standpoint, Birdeye sits at a practical price point. It offers a broader feature range than newer, less established alternatives while remaining slightly more affordable than top competitors like Podium — a balance that makes it a sensible choice for professional teams managing real project workloads.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

After using Birdeye daily across design and technical documentation workflows for US lighting projects, a few limitations become noticeable once the platform is part of a serious professional routine.
The absence of built-in payment processing is a practical gap. For project-based work where invoicing and approvals often run through the same communication channels, having to switch to a separate payment tool breaks the workflow that Birdeye otherwise does a good job of consolidating. It is a missing piece that would make the platform significantly more complete for client-facing project management.
The lack of internal team messaging is another limitation that surfaces regularly. In a documentation and design environment, quick coordination between team members  on revision status, illustration updates, or project deadlines  happens constantly. Birdeye handles external client communication well, but there is no dedicated channel for internal staff conversation within the platform. That means a separate tool is still needed for team coordination, which partially undermines the all-in-one value proposition.
Feature gating is perhaps the most important consideration before committing to a plan. Several of the most useful capabilities  surveys, insights, benchmarking, and ticketing  are not included in the standard professional plan at high per month. For documentation work where structured client feedback and performance benchmarking are directly relevant, discovering that these features require a premium upgrade after onboarding is a frustration worth knowing about upfront.

Honestly, the problems Birdeye solves are ones I did not fully appreciate until I saw how much time was going into managing them manually.
The first one is business listing consistency. Before using Birdeye, keeping contact information  address, phone number, working hours accurate across every online directory was something that just did not get done regularly enough. It is easy to update one or two places and forget the rest. Birdeye manages that across over 100 directories automatically, and apparently that consistency is one of the factors Google weighs in local search ranking. That alone justifies a lot of the platform’s value for visibility.
Generating reviews used to be an afterthought. After completing a project or delivering documentation, following up manually with clients to request feedback rarely happened consistently. Birdeye connects with the business system and sends automatic email and text follow-ups after transactions or project milestones. The reviews started coming in more regularly without anyone having to remember to ask  which, if I am being honest, was the main reason it was not happening before.
The unified inbox solved a problem that was genuinely affecting daily work. Client messages were coming in through different channels and some were getting delayed responses simply because they were easy to miss. Having everything  text conversations, review replies, client queries  in one thread made response times faster and more consistent. It is one of those things that sounds straightforward but makes a real difference in practice.
The webchat widget was an unexpected benefit. Being able to capture website inquiries automatically with preset responses for common questions and the option for manual follow-up  means leads and project enquiries do not slip through during busy periods. For lighting project documentation work where client briefs often start with a simple website enquiry, that capture point matters more than it might seem initially.

We finally made the switch to Birdeye a few months ago, and honestly, I don't know how we managed without it. Before Birdeye, I was logging into Google Business, Facebook, and Apartments.com separately just to see if someone had complained about a leaky faucet or praised our concierge. Now, everything—and I mean everything—lands in one dashboard. Whether it's a text from a prospect or a 1-star Google review from a disgruntled neighbor, I see it instantly.

Birdeye is very easy to use. By placing just the phone number, the review is sent to the client via text. Super-simple and responses are quick.  Once the client is through, there's no delay. We can see the review as soon as it posts.

There is a facebook option is helpful for company and firms that allow those, but since we do not use it it don't have a benefit and can sometimes confuse the clients.  Other than that, no complaints.

I really like the color-coordinated email feature in Birdeye, where green means good and takes the reviewer to Google. It's quite helpful as it works as a psychological trick, differentiating between happy (green) and dissatisfied (red) reviews. This system channels all the potentially bad reviews away from Google and directs them to us directly, allowing us to manage and hopefully turn those reviews around. The timing of triggering these reviews after a successful loan funding is effective too, encouraging satisfied customers to leave a five-star review by clicking on the green button.

**What do you dislike about Birdeye?**

We're early in the searchability with AI. It's nice to reply directly to Google reviews via the Birdeye app, but we're also getting reviews on Zillow and Better Business Bureau and other sites like LendingTree, and we're not able to respond directly to those via the Birdeye app. So having some type of integrated API where you can respond directly to more reviews directly through the app using AI would be much more helpful. Right now, we're not responding to Zillow and Better Business Bureau because it's not integrated; we have to log in to those sites and we don't have the technology with AI to prepare a response. So it just takes more time, and as a CFO, I don't have time to make sure all these reviews are managed. We don't have a marketing department. So if Birdeye had that capability, it would be a lot easier.
