The system is incredibly powerful with some great analytics, particularly with the marketing and website features. We can bring all of our social, paid ads, and forms into one platform and that has allowed our marketing team to become incredibly efficient and agile. The CRM, which is our key business platform now, has provided transparency of all our client and sales data to our entire business. It's dismantled silos of information in our departments. Setting up workflows has created a large amount of efficiency in passing information from sales, to operations, to finance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As incredibly powerful of a system in certain areas, Hubspot is really lacking in other areas. A very specific case: Only whole numbers can be added into line items. You can't input decimal amounts. This is very limiting if you are selling day rates. We have had to change our way of working to hourly rates, as we typically charge 0.5 days or 0.25 days. Also, for material amounts, if you are selling (for example) material tonnage. You can't input 0.5 tonnes. Hubspot is aware of this issue for 14 months, but has yet to update its platform.
It's these small items that are very easy to fix, and if fixed, would elevate it to being the perfect CRM system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best thing about HubSpot Sales Hub is the features to connect back with clients or even remind your team internally. It is amazing the reports it can generate when the right information is put in. Easy to use, implement, and integrate if your team is willing to learn. There is a learning curve your team needs to be open to doing. The online resources are great for learning. If your team is signed on and using it, it is easy to frequently use. I wish there was more help in how to integrate workflows. When I go to the HubSpot talks, they talk about workflow, but I was told to contact a consultant to help build the workflow. I feel like that is a huge downside. We have one quarterly meeting and it would be great to get more help, but also understand why that is not included. WISH IT WAS THOUGH :) I feel like customer service is more sales than it is service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have found it easy to get set-up and running with HubSpot Sales, adding in Contacts, Companies and Deals. So as a place in which to hold all our prospects and sales contacts it is ideal. During the implmentaion process we got help from Customer Support so that was a big help in dealing with some of the teething problems.
So for the user who is working from a Diary and Excel Spreadsheet then this is an easy first step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The cost is very high for what you get - so be carefull with the number of users who are given access.
The other issue is that the "Sales Hub" is only intended for sales, so once your deal gets past the stage of "Deal Done" the process that follows is not handled well. So for example, we have a deal to provide 20 days consultancy over the next 3 months - all the details of the deal and the costs are held in Hubspot, but the delivery stage falls outside.
So as a planning tool it is good, but perhaps it is based on the model where the salesperson gets the signed documents and that is his job done and he/she walks away. But real life is not like that and the deal is not really closed until it is paid. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is so user friendly. i am able to see all my deals in one glance. The linkage to account or user allow me to drill and see a marco picture at company level on who and where are the users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I will suggest incorporating some charts. good to see at a glance opportunities for the week or activities for the week (if it is there already, i just need to familiaries myself more) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I really appreciate about HubSpot is how easy it is to use, especially the kanban-style layout for managing deals. It makes it really simple to visualize where everything stands, and I love how it keeps my emails automatically recorded. Plus, it's quite affordable compared to other tools, which is a big plus, especially considering the range of features I get access to. Most of the lead generation tools that I use can be integrated with HubSpot. it can be easily implemented with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
On the downside, the lock-in period can be a bit frustrating, especially when you’re tied into a committed term after accepting a discount. It’s a pain that you can’t remove extra seats once you’ve added them, and the recurring billing can catch you off guard if you’re not careful. Be careful about the marketing contacts because they will charge you right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The most useful aspect is that without much work, you can start tracking emails as well as phone calls - including the outcome and the recording of the call. It's also really easy to track user activity on the website. You can see how long they stay on each page, where they're clicking and it generally keeps track of the user journey on your site. It's also really easy to add properties for contacts and Deals, allowing you to add a layer of customization to how you handle your prospects/users... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing model is quite expensive and a little confusing. you are limited to 500 calling minutes per month and it's quite a steep climb to add any more minutes to your account. You basically have to go from paying $18/user/month all the way to $90/user/month if you want more calling minutes. Lists updating is also a bit slow, I wish there was a way to manually refresh the lists that are created. Additionally, I wish there was a way to list more properties from linked objects. For example, I have a demo-date property on a Deal. I wish that we could display the property on the Contact level as a Contact->Deal demo-date. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HubSpot is easy to jump into without needing years of training, which makes it great for getting started quickly, and implement quickly. But I love how it can scale in complexity as your needs grow. You can start simple and gradually build out more advanced workflows, automations, and integrations. Plus, they keep expanding what HubSpot can do, and I’m excited to see how it continues to evolve. There are small features that feel like they should be native but aren’t, which makes it seem like HubSpot hasn’t fully mastered listening to its users. Nothing major prevents us from using the software, but these little gaps can be frustrating. Thankfully, workarounds exist, but I’d love to see more attention to these details. Good flow for the sales team, great insights and suggestions in the platfom.
I watched some online tutorials and I was ready to go. I could have done it without it, it's that easy for a tech guy.
I use it daily as a salesperson because I know the importance in having a CRM. I worked with others before and this is one of the best I've met.
Seems easy to implement and build from ground-up. No need to be tech savy.
Comunity is nice, you will find support for most of the problems that you will encounter.
App store is nice so you should have everything that is needed for a smooth integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some things are a bit complicated like having a dynamic IP is messing with the tracking system for the emails.
Some app integrations need a super admin to be installed, and you cant do it by asking the admin to install it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Hubspot is extremely powerful and customizable but also very easy to use and quick to get started with right out of the box. Their customer service/support is top notch. HS has an extensive marketplace of integrations that work well and are easy to implement. They also offer tons of training and academy courses - many of which can even be accessed with a free account. I use HS on a daily basis and would highly reccomend it. I am visually impaired and on top of being easy to navigate, HS works very well with my screen reading software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hubspot is on the pricier side but you definitely get alot of quality for what you pay. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a small BD team and having a CRM was a huge goal for us. Setting up hubspot was incredibly easy, and their team helped us at every stage of the way. They have costumer support who answers things very rapidy.
Hubsot community: A lot of people use hubspot and there are many blogs with tips, tricks and things you could do to improve your setup.
Competitor differencess: I would recommended to every company (big or small) but specifically for our small company was very easy to use. I have previously used Salesforce and this was much easier and we could have more out of it.
Price: very economical and you can combine different seat pricings to actually pay for what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many apps you can link to it, which is good but sometimes it feels like it is way too many apps. It is easy to get lost Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to configure. Even if you dont know where a setting is, you can typically find it within a few clicks since intuative links are placed where you would need them. There are lots of pre-built reports and it's easy to build your own. The sales and marketing function work seamlessly. Lots of available integrations that are easy to set up. This is way easier than using Sales Force. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They still dont have a way to show how much your pipeline has increased or decreased over time. For example, if I just wanted to see how many dollars were added in a single month, this tool cant do that. There are a lot of clunky work-arounds but they still wont give you the exact data you are looking for. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
