I like that we can host a lot of clients and not have to worry about the servers being able to cope. I like that the support team are there to assist with anything. Some aspects of the platform are easy to use while others are not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The emails are very confusing when adding box's and the sizing of images etc. The polls function is not great there is a limit to the amount of characters. The moderation only allows admins to moderate which isnt great as that means we need to use all of our teams seats to allow moderation. The ticket types do not carry over to the recordings so we have paying clients getting to see every day of the event recordings which is not good. There is no where to put speaker info that shows on the platform other than the registration page which isnt great if we are using the magic links. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Customer support is incredible, our CSM is very friendly and responsive with larger issues and the chat is very responsive with quick fixes
-The interface really facilitates a lot of customer engagement in the chat, Q&A, and polls, the reaction feature is great in the chat
-The abundance of reports available post-event is great and the way the data is presented is very clear
-you can record the breakout sessions (this isn't possible in Zoom)
-Provides great value to our two team, one of which hosts Simulive webinars on the platform, and the other, live webinars with breakout sessions

-I feel like there were many nuances and elements that I had to sort out for myself, but this could be because of my use case for the platform
-I do not understand why speakers need to stream in from the backstage and why the set-up can't be the same way as the sessions, the streaming in adds a layer of complexity to our process

The ease of use of the features and setup, and having RingCentral University, which provides detailed steps to figuring out how to set up your event. It is easy to build the venue, the schedules and branding. I love that the event and registration pages can be personalized and have a professional look with ease and intuitive settings. On the day of the event, RingCentral can pose certain challenges, especially if you are used to zoom. Speakers are often confused with the comments and not being able to see participants, event when addressing these during the test-run. However, with the new integrations in platform, I believe this has been resolved as you can switch to the new setup which is more similar to other platforms. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like using RingCentral as its very intuitive and user friendly, the features, functions and tabs explain themselves. This platform works for the scale of our events and is fit for purpose. We have been using this platform for over 3 years now and have been through a lot of updates to get where we are now. A real help through this has been from the customer support service who have provided solutions and explainations as to why things may have gone wrong or to develop our product. The ease of integrating other platforms we use during our events is very simple, for example Slido and Vimeo videos; it is built in very well and implementing this into the conferences we run is very easy. The one thing I dislike about RingCentral is the lack of knowledge on tech issues; for example why some speakers can't join on Microsoft Edge but some other can. I dedicated technician for your organisations account would make it more seamless and tech free. I really appreciate the different "rooms" that are incorporated in the platform. It truly breaks down the in-person conference feel and puts it in a virtual space that is more accessible for people across the globe. I also very much appreciate the team, behind RingCentral... from the engineering team that quickly responds to outages, to the CSMs and the customer support channel that helps with one off questions AND the team that listens to our feedback and implements new features.
The platform is easy to integrate with other CRMs and seems to be fairly easy for the attendee to navigate - even those that aren't as tech savvy.
I use this platform frequently - almost a daily basis. So, to have something that is easy to implement and navigate as an admin or a user, is crucial! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge that is hard for me and other attendees is, it is so bandwidth heavy that attendees can have challenges joining sessions or networking that involve sharing their audio and video. There may not be much you can do about that, but it is often a challenge with some clients.
I wish more people (not admin) but on the events team had more flexiblity and visibility to some of the features. I.e. the Q&A, pinning certain chats, or sending broadcast announcements. It would be nice to have a "co-host" role or a lesser role than an admin that you can give on a case by case basis, so they can participate and control the environment a bit more. Refunds. It is not possible to provide a refund through the RingCentral\Stripe mechanism net of the charges that Stripe makes. Therefore, refunds cost us money. We have had to prepare a manual - clumsy - system to replace the RingCentral system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
